²¹ then every man whose heart prompted him entered, and everyone whose spirit made him willing brought Yahweh's heave offering for the work of the tent of appointment and for all its service and for the holy garments.

² Speak to the sons of Israel that they take for Me a heave offering. From every man whose heart is willing shall you take My heave offering.

⁵ take a heave offering to Yahweh from what you have. Everyone willing is his heart shall bring Yahweh's heave offering: gold, silver and copper,

²² The men entered along with their wives, all with a willing heart. They brought clasps and pendants and rings and plaited ornaments, every article of gold. So did every man who would wave a wave offering of gold to Yahweh.

²⁶ All the wives whose heart prompted them with wisdom spun the goats' hair.

²⁹ Every man and woman whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work which Yahweh had instructed to do by the hand of Moses, the sons of Israel brought as a voluntary offering to Yahweh.

² Then Moses called to Bezalel and to Aholiab and to every man wise of heart, to whom Yahweh had given wisdom in his heart, everyone whose heart prompted him to come near to the work to do it.

³ Hear, you kings; give ear, you princes, I, to Yahweh, I--I do sing, I sing praise to Yahweh, Elohim of Israel.

⁹ My heart [is] to the lawgivers of Israel, Who are offering themselves willingly among the people, Bless you Yahweh!"

¹² Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, utter a song; Rise, Barak, and take captive your captivity, Son of Abinoam.

²⁷ For You, Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel, You have uncovered the ear of Your servant, saying, A house I build for you, therefore has Your servant found his heart to pray unto You this prayer;"

² And David the king rises on his feet, and said, `Hear me, my brethren and my people, I--with my heart--to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for the footstool of our Elohim, and I prepared to build,

⁹ `And you, Solomon, my son, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind, for all hearts is Yahweh seeking, and every imagination of the thoughts He is understanding; if you do seek Him, He is found of you, and if you do forsake Him, He casts you off for ever.

³ `And again, because of my delighting in the house of my Elohim, the substance I have--a peculiar treasure of gold and silver--I have given for the house of my Elohim, even over and above all I have prepared for the house of the sanctuary.

⁵ even gold for [things of] gold, and silver for [those of] silver, and for all the work by the hand of artificers; and who [is] he that is offering willingly to consecrate his hand to-day to Yahweh?. ⁶ And the heads of the fathers, and the heads of the tribes of Israel, and the heads of the thousands, and of the hundreds, even to the heads of the work of the king, offer willingly.

⁹ And the people rejoice because of their offering willingly, for with a perfect heart they have offered willingly to Yahweh; and also David the king has rejoiced--great joy.

¹⁴ yea, because, who [am] I, and who [are] my people, that we retain power to offer thus willingly? but of You [is] the whole, and out of Your hand we have given to You;"

¹⁷ `And I have known, my Elohim, that You are trying the heart, and uprightness do desire; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these:and now, Your people who are found here I have seen with joy to offer willingly to You. <sup>18</sup> `O Yahweh, Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this to the eon for the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and prepare their heart unto You;"

⁵ The patriarchal heads of Judah and Benjamin arose, also the priests and the Levites, with everyone whose spirit the One, Elohim, had roused to go up to rebuild the House of Yahweh Who is in Jerusalem. ⁶ As for all those around them, they encouraged their hands with articles of silver, with gold, with goods and beasts and token presents besides all that was voluntarily given.

²⁷ Blessed be Yahweh Elohim of our fathers, Who has put such as this into the heart of the king to beautify the House of Yahweh in Jerusalem.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your potent power; In holy effulgence from the womb of the dawn, You will have the dew of Your childhood."

²³ More than any guard-post, preserve your heart, For from it spring the outflowings of life."

²¹ And his honorable one has been of himself, And his ruler from his midst goes forth, And I have caused him to draw near, And he has drawn nigh unto Me, For who [is] he who has pledged his heart To draw nigh unto Me? An affirmation of Yahweh."

³⁴ Progeny of vipers! How can you be speaking what is good, being wicked? For out of the superabundance of the heart the mouth is speaking."

¹² For if eagerness lies before, it is most acceptable according to whatever one may have, not according to what he has not."

⁷ each according as he has proposed in his heart, not sorrowfully, nor of compulsion, for the gleeful giver is loved by God."
