²⁸ So Yahweh plucked them up off their ground in anger, in fury and in great wrath, and He flung them into another country as it is this day.

²⁴ Then Yahweh instructed us to obey all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our Elohim for our good all the days so as to keep us alive, as it is this day.

¹⁸ Yet you will remember Yahweh your Elohim, for He is the One giving to you the vigor to make this estate, that He may confirm His covenant that He had sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, as in this day.

²⁵ Yahweh shall make you to be struck down before your enemies. By a single road shall you go forth to them, and by seven roads shall you flee before them. So you will become an object of commotion to all the kingdoms of the earth.

³⁶ Yahweh shall conduct you and your king, whom you shall set up over you, to a nation whom you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, and you will serve there other elohim of wood and stone.

⁶⁴ And Yahweh will scatter you among all the peoples from one end of the earth unto the other end of the earth. There you will serve other elohim, those of wood and stone which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers.

¹⁵ And Yahweh has smitten Israel as the reed is moved by the waters, and has plucked Israel from off this good ground that He gave to their fathers, and scattered them beyond the River, because that they made their shrines, provoking Yahweh to anger;"

¹⁸ That Yahweh shows himself very angry against Israel, and turns them aside from His presence; none has been left, only the tribe of Judah by itself.

²³ till that Yahweh has turned Israel aside from His presence, as He spoke by the hand of all His servants the prophets, and Israel is removed from off its land to Asshur, unto this day.

²⁰ and this house that I have sanctified for My name, I cast from before My face, and make it for a proverb, and for a byword, among all the peoples.

⁷ From the days of our fathers we have been in great guilt until this day; because of our depravities we ourselves, our kings, our priests have been given into the hand of the kings of the countries, to the sword, to captivity, to plundering and to shame of face, just as this day.

⁵ But El, He shall break you down permanently; He shall rake you up and tear you out from your tent, And He will root you out from the land of the living. {Interlude{ "

²² Yet the wicked, they shall be cut off from the land, And the treacherous, they shall be torn out from it."

¹⁰ `If you do certainly dwell in this land, then I have builded you up, and I throw not down; and I have planted you, and I pluck not up; for I have repented concerning the evil that I have done to you."

⁷ To Thee, my Lord, is righteousness, yet to us is shamefacedness as at this day:To each man of Judah, to the dwellers of Jerusalem, to all the people of Israel, the near and the far, in all the lands where Thou hast expelled them for their offense with which they offend Thee."

²³ Yet woe to those who are pregnant, and to those suckling in those days; for there will be great necessity in the land and indignation on this people." ²⁴ And they shall be falling by the edge of the sword and shall be led into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden by the nations, until the eras of the nations may be fulfilled."
