⁶ Those, indeed, then, who are coming together, asked Him, saying, "Lord, art Thou at this time restoring the kingdom to Israel?

¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

²⁶ And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the start. And afterward shall they call you, `Righteous city,' `Faithful Mother-Town.'"

⁶ For a Boy is born to us; a Son is given to us, and the chieftainship shall come to be on His shoulder, and His name is called "Marvelous.Counsel to the master shall He bring, to the chief of the future, welfare." ⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

⁵ Lo, days are coming--an affirmation of Yahweh, And I have raised to David a righteous shoot, And a king has reigned and acted wisely, And done judgment and righteousness in the earth." ⁶ In his days is Judah saved, and Israel dwells confidently, And this his name that Yahweh proclaims him, `Our Righteousness.'"

¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, I cause to shoot up to David a shoot of righteousness, And he has done judgment and righteousness in the earth." ¹⁶ In those days is Judah saved, And Jerusalem does dwell confidently, And this [is] he whom Yahweh proclaims to her:`Our Righteousness.'" <sup>17</sup> For thus said Yahweh:`Not cut off to David is one sitting on the throne of the house of Israel,

²⁶ Also the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, I reject, Against taking from his seed rulers For the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, For I turn back [to] their captivity, and have pitied them.'"

²⁴ And My servant David [is] king over them, And one shepherd have they all, And in My judgments they go, And My statutes they keep, and have done them." ²⁵ And they have dwelt on the land that I gave to My servant, to Jacob, In which your fathers have dwelt, And they have dwelt on it, they and their sons, And their son's sons--unto the eon, And David My servant [is] their prince--to the eon." ²⁶ And I have made to them a covenant of peace, A covenant eonian it is with them, And I have placed them, and multiplied them, And placed My sanctuary in their midst--to the eon." ²⁷ And My tabernacle has been over them, And I have been to them for Elohim, And they have been to Me for a people."

²⁷ And the kingdom and the jurisdiction and the majesty of the kingdom under the entire heavens will be granted to the people of the saints of the supremacies. Their kingdom is an eonian kingdom, and all other authorities shall serve and hearken to them."

⁴ For many days shall the sons of Israel dwell without king and without chief, and without sacrifice and without altar, and without priesthood or thummim."

¹⁶ And Yahweh shall roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem shall He give forth His voice, and the heavens and the earth shall quake. Yet Yahweh is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the sons of Israel." ¹⁷ And you shall know that I am Yahweh, your Elohim, tabernacling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall come to be a holy city, and aliens shall pass in her no longer." ¹⁸ And it shall come in that day, the mountains shall drop with juice, and the hills shall flow with milk. All the channels of Judah shall flow with water, and a spring from the house of Yahweh shall fare forth, and it irrigates the watercourse Shittim." ¹⁹ Egypt shall become a desolation, and Edom shall become a wilderness desolation because of wrong done to the sons of Judah--when they shed innocent blood in their land." ²⁰ And Judah shall dwell for the eon, and Jerusalem for generation after generation." ²¹ And I will avenge their blood, and will not hold the others innocent, when Yahweh shall tabernacle in Zion."

¹¹ In that day will I raise up the fallen booth of David, and I will dike with stones its breaches, and its demolished places will I raise, and I will build it as in the days of the eon,

¹⁷ Yet in mount Zion deliverance shall come to be, and it will become holy. And the house of Jacob shall tenant their own tenancies." ¹⁸ And the house of Jacob shall become a fire, and the house of Joseph a blaze, and the house of Esau for straw, and they shall flare among them and devour them. And there shall not be a survivor for the house of Esau, for Yahweh speaks." ¹⁹ And they of the south rim shall tenant mount Esau, and they of the lowland, the Philistines, and they shall tenant the field of Ephraim, and the field of Samaria, and Benjamin shall tenant Gilead." ²⁰ And the deportation, these valorous of the sons of Israel, shall tenant the land which is the Canaanites' unto Zarephas, and the deportation of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall tenant the cities of the south rim." ²¹ And saviours shall come up in mount Zion, to judge mount Esau. And the kingdom shall become Yahweh's."

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, inferior to be among the mentors of Judah, from you shall One fare forth for Me to become the Ruler in Israel; yet His farings forth are from aforetime, from days eonian."

¹⁵ Yahweh takes away your judgments; He faces your enemies about. The King of Israel, Yahweh, is within you; you shall see no further evil." ¹⁶ In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, You must not fear! Zion, you must not slacken your hands!" ¹⁷ Yahweh, your Elohim, is within you; He, the Master, will save. He will be elated over you with rejoicing; He will renew you in His love; He will exult over you with jubilation."

⁹ Exult exceedingly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold! your King shall come to you! Righteous and endowed with salvation is He. Humble and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a she-ass."

¹¹ Now He, answering, said to them that "Elijah is indeed coming, and will be restoring all."

²¹ Now He said to her, "What are you wanting?She is saying to Him, "Say that these, my two sons, should be seated, one at Thy right and one at Thy left, in Thy kingdom."

³ Now at His sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what is the sign of Thy presence and of the conclusion of the eon?

¹² Now He averred to them, "Elijah, indeed, coming first, is restoring all. And how is it written of the Son of Mankind that much may He be suffering and may be scorned?

²⁰ Now, being inquired of by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God is coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with scrutiny."

¹¹ Now at their hearing these things, adding, He spoke a parable because of His being near Jerusalem, and they are supposing that instantly the kingdom of God is about to be looming up."

²⁹ And I am covenanting a covenant with you, according as My Father covenanted a kingdom to Me,

²¹ Peter, then, perceiving this one, is saying to Jesus, "Lord, yet what of this man?
