¹⁹ Yet I shall be coming to you swiftly, if ever the Lord should be willing, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power."

⁷ For I do not want to see you at present on the way, for I am expecting to stay some time with you, if ever the Lord should permit."

¹¹ Furthermore, brethren, rejoice, adjust, be entreated, be mutually disposed, be at peace, and the God of love and of peace will be with you. "

¹⁹ Now I am expecting, in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you quickly, that I also may be of good cheer when I know of your concerns." ²⁰ For I have no one equally sensitive, who will be so genuinely solicitous of your concerns, ²¹ for all are seeking that which is their own, not that which is Christ Jesus'." ²² Now you know his testedness, that, as a child with a father, he slaves with me for the evangel." ²³ This one, indeed, then, I am expecting to send - as ever I may be perceiving my course from the things about me - forthwith." ²⁴ Yet I have confidence in the Lord that I myself shall also be coming quickly.

³ And this will we be doing, that is, if God may be permitting."

¹⁵ instead of your saying, "If the Lord should ever be willing, and we shall be living, we also shall be doing this or that."

¹⁷ For it is better to be suffering for doing good, if the will of God may be willing, than for doing evil,
