²⁷ And she comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill, and lays hold on his feet, and Gehazi comes nigh to thrust her away, and the man of Elohim said, `Let her alone, for her soul [is] bitter to her, and Yahweh has hidden [it] from me, and has not declared [it] to me..

¹⁷ And Yahweh says, "Shall I cover from Abraham, My servant, what I am doing,

¹⁰ And she is bitter in soul, and prays unto Yahweh, and weeps greatly,

³ And Nathan said unto the king, `All that [is] in your heart--go, do, for Yahweh [is] with you..

²⁵ And she goes, and comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill of Carmel, and it comes to pass, at the man of Elohim's seeing her from over-against, that he said unto Gehazi his young man, `Lo, this Shunammite;"

¹² And one of his servants said, `Nay, my lord, O king, for Elisha the prophet, who [is] in Israel, declares to the king of Israel the words that you speak in the inner part of your bed-chamber..

¹ My soul is disgusted with my life; I shall give free rein to myself and my concern; Let me speak in the bitterness of my soul.

¹⁰ The heart knows its own bitterness of soul, And in its rejoicing no alien can partake."

¹⁴ A man's spirit sustains him in his illness, Yet a despondent spirit, who can bear it?

⁷ For my Lord Yahweh is not doing a thing save He reveals His deliberation to His servants, the prophets."

²³ Yet He answered her not a word. And, approaching, His disciples asked Him, saying, "Dismiss her, for she is crying behind us."

³¹ Yet the throng rebukes them, that they should be silent. Yet they cry the louder, saying, "Lord, be merciful to us! Son of David!"

⁹ Now, as they went to report to His disciples, lo! Jesus also meets them saying, "Rejoice!Now they, approaching, hold His feet and worship Him."

¹³ And they brought to Him little children, that He should be touching them; yet the disciples rebuke them."

⁶ Yet Jesus said, "Leave her! Why are you affording her weariness? For it is an ideal work she works in Me."

³⁸ and standing behind, beside the feet of Jesus, lamenting, she begins to rain tears on His feet, and with the hair of her head she wiped them off and fondly kissed His feet, and rubbed them with the attar."

²⁷ And, at this, His disciples came, and they marveled that He spoke with a woman. Howbeit, no one said to Him, "What art Thou seeking?or "What art Thou speaking with her?

⁴ Now Judas of Simon Iscariot, one of His disciples (who is about to give Him up) is saying, ⁵ Wherefore was not this attar disposed of for three hundred denarii and given to the poor? ⁶ Now this he said, not that he cared concerning the poor, but that he was a thief, having the coffer also, and bore what is cast into it." ⁷ Jesus, then, said, "Let her be, that she should be keeping it for the day of My burial."

¹⁵ No longer am I terming you slaves, for the slave is not aware what his lord is doing. Yet I have declared you friends, for all that I hear from My Father I make known to you."
