¹ And a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets has cried unto Elisha, saying, `Your servant, my husband, is dead, and you have known that your servant was fearing Yahweh, and the lender has come to take my two children to him for servants.. <sup>2</sup> And Elisha said unto her, `What do I do for you? declare to me, what have you in the house?' and she said, `Your maid-servant has nothing in the house except a pot of oil.. <sup>3</sup> And he said, `Go, ask for you vessels from without, from all your neighbors--empty vessels--let [them] not be few;" ⁴ and you have entered, and shut the door upon you, and upon your sons, and have poured out into all these vessels, and the full ones you do remove.. ⁵ And she goes from him, and shuts the door upon her, and upon her sons; they are bringing nigh unto her, and she is pouring out, ⁶ and it comes to pass, at the filling of the vessels, that she said unto her son, `Bring nigh unto me a vessel more,' and he said unto her, `There is not a vessel more;' and the oil stays. ⁷ And she comes and declares to the man of Elohim, and he said, `Go, sell the oil, and repay your loan; and you [and] your sons do live of the rest.. <sup>8</sup> And the day comes that Elisha passes over unto Shunem, and there [is] a great woman, and she lays hold on him to eat bread, and it comes to pass, at the time of his passing over, he turns aside thither to eat bread, <sup>9</sup> and she said unto her husband, `Lo, I pray you, I have known that a holy man of Elohim he is, passing over by us continually;" ¹⁰ let us make, I pray you, a little upper chamber of the wall, and we set for him there a bed, and a table, and a high seat, and a candlestick; and it has been, in his coming in unto us, he does turn aside thither.. ¹¹ And the day comes, that he comes in thither, and turns aside unto the upper chamber, and lies there, ¹² and he said unto Gehazi his young man, `Call for this Shunammite;' and he calls for her, and she stands before him. <sup>13</sup> And he said to him, `Say, I pray you, unto her, Lo, you have troubled yourself concerning us with all this trouble; what--to do for you? is it to speak for you unto the king, or unto the head of the host?' and she said, `In the midst of my people I am dwelling.. <sup>14</sup> And he said, `And what--to do for her?' and Gehazi said, `Verily she has no son, and her husband [is] aged.. <sup>15</sup> And he said, `Call for her;' and he calls for her, and she stands at the opening, ¹⁶ and he said, `At this season, according to the time of life, you are embracing a son;' and she said, `Nay, my lord, O man of Elohim, do not lie unto your maid-servant.. ¹⁷ And the woman conceives and bears a son, at this season, according to the time of life, that Elisha spoke of unto her. ¹⁸ And the lad grows, and the day comes that he goes out unto his father, unto the reapers, ¹⁹ and he said unto his father, `My head, my head;' and he said unto the young man, `Bear him unto his mother;. ²⁰ and he bears him, and brings him in unto his mother, and he sits on her knees till the noon, and dies. ²¹ And she goes up, and lays him on the bed of the man of Elohim, and shuts [the door] upon him, and goes out, ²² and calls unto her husband, and said, `Send, I pray you, to me, one of the young men, and one of the asses, and I run unto the man of Elohim, and return.. <sup>23</sup> And he said, `Wherefore are you going unto him to-day? --neither new moon nor sabbath!' and she said, `Peace [to you]!. <sup>24</sup> And she saddles the ass, and said unto her young man, `Lead, and go, do not restrain riding for me, except I have said [so] to you.. ²⁵ And she goes, and comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill of Carmel, and it comes to pass, at the man of Elohim's seeing her from over-against, that he said unto Gehazi his young man, `Lo, this Shunammite;" <sup>26</sup> now, run, I pray you, to meet her, and say to her, Is there peace to you? is there peace to your husband? is there peace to the lad?' and she said, `Peace.. ²⁷ And she comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill, and lays hold on his feet, and Gehazi comes nigh to thrust her away, and the man of Elohim said, `Let her alone, for her soul [is] bitter to her, and Yahweh has hidden [it] from me, and has not declared [it] to me.. <sup>28</sup> And she said, `Did I ask a son from my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?. ²⁹ And he said to Gehazi, `Gird up your loins, and take my staff in your hand, and go; when you do meet a man, you do not salute him; and when a man does salute you, you do not answer him; and you have laid my staff on the face of the youth.. <sup>30</sup> And the mother of the youth said, `Yahweh lives, and your soul lives--if I leave you;' and he rises and goes after her. ³¹ And Gehazi has passed on before them, and lays the staff on the face of the youth, and there is no voice, and there is no attention, and he turns back to meet him, and declares to him, saying, `The youth has not awaked.. <sup>32</sup> And Elisha comes in to the house, and lo, the youth is dead, laid on his bed, <sup>33</sup> and he goes in and shuts the door upon them both, and prays unto Yahweh. <sup>34</sup> And he goes up, and lies down on the lad, and puts his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands, and stretches himself upon him, and the flesh of the lad becomes warm;" <sup>35</sup> and he turns back and walks in the house, once hither and once thither, and goes up and stretches himself upon him, and the youth sneezes till seven times, and the youth opens his eyes. <sup>36</sup> And he calls unto Gehazi, and said, `Call unto this Shunammite;' and he calls her, and she comes in unto him, and he said, `Lift up your son.. <sup>37</sup> And she goes in, and falls at his feet, and bows herself to the earth, and lifts up her son, and goes out. <sup>38</sup> And Elisha has turned back to Gilgal, and the famine [is] in the land, and the sons of the prophets are sitting before him, and he said to his young man, `Set on the great pot, and boil pottage for the sons of the prophets.. ³⁹ And one goes out unto the field to gather herbs, and finds a vine of the field, and gathers of it gourds of the field--the fulness of his garment--and comes in and splits [them] into the pot of pottage, for they knew [them] not;" ⁴⁰ and they pour out for the men to eat, and it comes to pass at their eating of the pottage, that they have cried out, and say, `Death [is] in the pot, O man of Elohim!' and they have not been able to eat. <sup>41</sup> And he said, `Then bring you meal;' and he casts into the pot, and said, `Pour out for the people, and they eat;' and there was no evil thing in the pot. <sup>42</sup> And a man has come from Baal-Shalishah, and brings in to the man of Elohim bread of first-fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in its husk, and he said, `Give to the people, and they eat.. ⁴³ And his minister said, `What--do I give this before a hundred men?' and he said, `Give to the people, and they eat, for thus said Yahweh, Eat and leave;. ⁴⁴ and he gives before them, and they eat and leave, according to the word of Yahweh.

²⁴ But, apart is this from what the lads eat, and the portion of the mortals who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. They shall take their portion.

² And saying is Abram, "My Lord Yahweh, what are You giving to me, when I am going heirless, and the son running about my house, he is Damascus Eliezer? ³ And saying is Abram, "Behold! To me no seed have You given. And behold! A son of my household is to enjoy my tenancy.

¹⁶ And I bless her, and, moreover, I give you a son of her. And bless him will I and he comes to be for nations, and kings of peoples shall come from him. ¹⁷ Then falling is Abraham on his face. And laughing is he and saying in his heart, "To one a hundred years of age shall a son be born? And should Sarah, ninety years of age, be bearing?

³ And urging them is he exceedingly. And withdrawing are they to him, and coming to his house. And making is he for them a feast, and he bakes unleavened bread, and they are eating.

¹ And Yahweh visits Sarah, as He had said, and doing is Yahweh to Sarah as He had spoken.

² And saying is He, "Take, pray, your son, your only one, whom you love, Isaac, and go you to the land of Moriah, and offer him up there for an ascent offering on one of the mountains of which I will apprize you.

¹² And saying is he, "You must not stretch out your hand on the lad, and you must not do aught to him, for now I know that you fear the Elohim, for you have not kept back your son, your only one from Me.

²¹ And Isaac is entreating Yahweh for the invigorating of Rebecca, his wife, for barren is she. And Yahweh is being entreated by him, and pregnant is Rebecca, his wife.

⁶ And saying is he to them, "Fares he well?And saying are they, "Well fares he. And behold! Rachel, his daughter, is coming with the flock.

¹ And seeing is Rachel that she does not bear for Jacob. And jealous is Rachel of her sister. And saying is she to Jacob, "Grant me sons! And, should there be none, I will die.

³ And Israel loves Joseph more than any other of his sons, for a son of his old age is he, to him. And he makes for him a distinctive tunic.

⁵ And dreaming is Joseph a dream. And telling it is he to his brothers. And continuing further are they in their hatred of him.

¹⁴ And saying to him is Israel, "Go, pray, and see if it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock, and return me word.And sending him is he from the vale of Hebron. And coming is he to Shechem.

¹⁷ And this rod shall you take in your hand with which you shall do the signs.

²⁰ So Moses took his wife and his sons and let them ride on the donkey and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the rod of the One, Elohim, in his hand.

¹⁹ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Say to Aaron, Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their waterways, over their ponds and over every confluence of their waters that they may become blood. Thus there will come to be blood in all the land of Egypt and in wooden and in stone troughs. ²⁰ Moses and Aaron did so just as Yahweh had instructed; he raised the rod and smote the waters which were in the waterway before the eyes of Pharaoh and before the eyes of his servants. And all the waters which were in the waterway were turned to blood.

¹⁷ And now, I pray, bear with my sin only this time, and make an entreaty to Yahweh your Elohim that he may take away from over me but this death!"

¹⁶ And you, raise high your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and split it, that the sons of Israel may enter into the midst of the sea on dry ground.

²³ When they came to Marah, they were unable to drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore one called its name Marah.

²⁵ So he cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh directed him to a tree. So he flung it into the waters, and the waters were sweet. There He made for them a statute and a judgment, and there He probed them,

¹⁶ also observe the celebration of the harvest of the firstfruits of your yields from what you are sowing in the field: and observe the celebration of ingathering at the going forth of the year, when you gather your yields from the field.

¹² Moses said to Yahweh: See! You are saying to me: Bring up this people, but You have not let me know whom You shall send with me. Yet You have said: I know you by name, and moreover you have found grace in My eyes. ¹³ And now, I pray, if I have found grace in Your eyes let me know I pray, Your way that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your eyes; see that this nation is Your people. ¹⁴ And He said: My presence, shall it go that I may give rest to you? ¹⁵ So he said to him: If Your presence is not going, do not bring us up hence!" ¹⁶ Whereby shall it be known, indeed, that I find grace in Your eyes, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us that we may be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the peoples who are on the surface of the ground?

³ Then Moses said to Aaron:That is what Yahweh spoke of, saying:Among those near Me shall I be hallowed, and in the presence of all the people shall I be glorified. Aaron was still;"

³⁹ In case your brother who is beside you is reduced to poverty and sells himself to you, you shall not make him serve the service of a servant. ⁴⁰ As a hireling, as a guest shall he be beside you; until the year of the jubilee shall he serve for you. ⁴¹ Then he will go forth from you, he and his sons with him, and return to his family; and to the holding of his fathers shall he return.

⁴⁸ after he has sold himself, redemption may he come to have:one of his brothers may redeem him.

²⁶ When I break the stock of bread for you then ten women will bake your bread in one stove and return your bread by weight so that you will eat and not be satisfied.

¹⁰ And in the day of your rejoicing, in your appointments and at the beginnings of your months you will blow on bugles over your ascent offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they will be to you for a memorial before your Elohim. I, Yahweh, am your Elohim.

¹¹ At the beginnings of your months you shall bring near an ascent offering to Yahweh:two young bulls, calves of the herd, and one ram, seven flawless year-old he-lambs,

⁸ a land of wheat and barley and vine and fig and pomegranate, a land of olive oil and honey,

⁶ You will bring there your ascent offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the heave offerings of your hand, your vows offerings and your voluntary offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and your flock.

² that you will take from the first of all the fruit of the ground which you shall bring in from your land that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, and you will place it in a basket and go to the place where Yahweh your Elohim shall choose to tabernacle His name. ³ And you will come to the priest who shall come to be in those days and say to him:I profess today to Yahweh my Elohim that I have come to the land about which Yahweh had sworn to our fathers to give to us. ⁴ Then the priest will take the basket from your hand and leave it before the altar of Yahweh your Elohim. ⁵ And you will respond and say before Yahweh your Elohim:My father was a lost Aramean, and he went down to Egypt, sojourned there with few adult males and became there a nation, great, substantial and numerous. ⁶ The Egyptians did evil to us, humiliated us and put hard service on us. ⁷ But we cried to Yahweh Elohim of our fathers, and Yahweh heard our voice and saw our humiliation, our toil and our oppression. ⁸ Then Yahweh brought us forth from Egypt with a steadfast hand and with an outstretched arm, with great fear-inspiring deeds, with signs and with miracles. ⁹ And He brought us to this place and gave to us this land, a land gushing with milk and honey. ¹⁰ Now behold, I bring the first of the fruit of the ground that You have given to me, Yahweh. Then you will leave it before Yahweh your Elohim and bow yourself down before Yahweh your Elohim.

²² Yahweh shall smite you with attenuation, with fever and inflammation, with hot heat and drought, with blasting and mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish. ²³ Your heavens that are over your head will come to be as copper, and the earth that is beneath you as iron. ²⁴ Yahweh shall make the rain of your land to be dust and soil-drifts; from the heavens it shall descend on you until you are exterminated.

³⁸ Much seed shall you bring forth to the field, yet little shall you gather, for the locust shall eat it up. ³⁹ You shall plant vineyards, and you will service them, yet you shall neither drink the wine, nor shall you hoard it, for the worm shall devour it. ⁴⁰ You shall come to have olives in all your territory, yet you shall not rub yourself with oil because your olives shall drop off.

¹⁴ clotted cream of the herd and milk of the flock, with fat of butting rams and rams of Bashan-breed and he-goats, with the fat of the wheat germ. And from the blood of the grape you drank turbid wine.

¹ This is the blessing with which Moses, the man of Elohim, blessed the sons of Israel before his death,

¹² and the manna does cease on the morrow in their eating of the old corn of the land, and there has been no more manna to the sons of Israel, and they eat of the increase of the land of Canaan in that year.

⁴ and seven priests do bear seven trumpets of the jubilee before the ark, and on the seventh day you compass the city seven times, and the priests blow with the trumpets, ⁵ and it has been, in the prolongation of the horn of the jubilee, in your hearing the voice of the trumpet, all the people shout--a great shout, and the wall of the city has fallen under it, and the people have gone up, each over-against him..

¹⁸ and their border is [at] Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

² And there is a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danite, and his name [is] Manoah, his wife [is] barren, and has not borne;"

²⁰ And the old man said, `Peace to you; only, all your lack [is] on me, only in the broad place lodge not..

¹ It was in the days when the judges judged, that a famine came over the land, and a man from Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the fields of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. ² The name of the man was Elimelech, the name of his wife was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They came to the fields of Moab and stayed there. ³ When Elimelech, Naomi's husband, died, she remained, she and her two sons. ⁴ They took up Moabite wives for themselves; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the second was Ruth. And they dwelt there about ten years.

¹⁶ Ruth replied, You must not persuade me to forsake you, to turn away from following you; for wherever you go I shall go, and wherever you lodge I shall lodge. Your people will be my people, and your Elohim my Elohim. ¹⁷ Where you die, I shall die; and there I shall be entombed. Thus may Yahweh do to me and thus add to it if anything but death parts me from you. ¹⁸ When Naomi realized that she was resolute to go with her, she left off arguing with her further.

⁴ And behold, Boaz was coming from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, Yahweh be with you! They replied to him, Yahweh bless you!"

² and he has two wives, the name of the one [is] Hannah, and the name of the second Peninnah, and Peninnah has children, and Hannah has no children.

⁸ And Elkanah her husband said to her, `Hannah, why weep you? and why do you not eat? and why is your heart afflicted? am I not better to you than ten sons?.

¹⁰ And she is bitter in soul, and prays unto Yahweh, and weeps greatly,

¹⁹ And they rise early in the morning, and bow themselves before Yahweh, and turn back, and come in unto their house in Ramah, and Elkanah knows Hannah his wife, and Yahweh remembers her;" ²⁰ and it comes to pass, at the revolution of the days, that Hannah conceives, and bears a son, and calls his name Samuel, `for, from Yahweh I have asked him..

¹⁸ And Samuel declares to him the whole of the words, and has not hid from him; and he said, `It [is] Yahweh; that which is good in His eyes He does..

¹⁶ and he has gone from year to year, and gone round Beth-El, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel [in] all these places;" ¹⁷ and his returning [is] to Ramath, for there [is] his house, and there he has judged Israel, and he builds there an altar to Yahweh.

⁴ And he passes over through the hill-country of Ephraim, and passes over through the land of Shalisha, and they have not found; and they pass over through the land of Shaalim, and they are not; and he passes over through the land of Benjamin, and they have not found.

⁷ And Saul said to his young man, `And lo, we go, and what do we bring in to the man? for the bread has gone from our vessels, and a present there is not to bring in to the man of Elohim--what [is] with us?.

³⁷ And Saul asks of Elohim, `Do I go down after the Philistines? do You give them into the hand of Israel?' and He has not answered him on that day.

¹⁸ and these ten cuttings of the cheese you do take in to the head of the thousand, and your brethren you do inspect for welfare, and their pledge do receive..

²⁰ And Saul sends messengers to take David, and they see the assembly of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing, set over them, and the Spirit of Elohim is on Saul's messengers, and they prophesy--they also.

² and gather themselves unto him do every man in distress, and every man who has an exactor, and every man bitter in soul, and he is over them for head, and there are with him about four hundred men.

¹⁹ And she said to her young men, `Pass over before me; lo, after you I am coming;' and to her husband Nabal she has not declared [it];" ²⁰ and it has come to pass, she is riding on the ass and is coming down in the secret part of the hill-country, and lo, David and his men are coming down to meet her, and she meets them.

⁴ And the Philistines are gathered, and come in, and encamp in Shunem, and Saul gathers all Israel, and they encamp in Gilboa,

⁶ and Saul asks at Yahweh, and Yahweh has not answered him, either by dreams, or by Urim, or by prophets.

³ And Nathan said unto the king, `All that [is] in your heart--go, do, for Yahweh [is] with you..

¹³ And to Amasa say you, Are not you my bone and my flesh? Thus does Elohim do to me, and thus He does add, if you are not head of the host before me all the days instead of Joab..

¹ And there is a famine in the days of David three years, year after year, and David seeks the face of Yahweh, and Yahweh said, `For Saul and for the bloody house, because that he put to death the Gibeonites..

³ And they seek a fair young woman in all the border of Israel, and find Abishag the Shunammite, and bring her in to the king,

³² and Yahweh has turned back his blood on his own head, who has fallen on two men more righteous and better than he, and slays them with the sword, --and my father David knew not--Abner son of Ner, head of the host of Israel, and Amasa son of Jether, head of the host of Judah;"

¹ And lo, a man of Elohim has come from Judah, by the word of Yahweh, unto Beth-El, and Jeroboam is standing by the altar--to make perfume;"

¹³ And he said unto his sons, `Saddle for me the ass,' and they saddle for him the ass, and he rides on it,

²³ And it comes to pass, after his eating bread, and after his drinking, that he saddles for him the ass, for the prophet whom he had brought back,

¹² And she said, `Yahweh your Elohim lives, I have not a cake, but the fulness of the hand of meal in a pitcher, and a little oil in a dish; and lo, I am gathering two sticks, and have gone in and prepared it for myself, and for my son, and we have eaten it--and died..

¹⁴ for thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, The pitcher of meal is not consumed, and the dish of oil is not lacking, till the day of Yahweh's giving a shower on the face of the ground.. ¹⁵ And she goes, and does according to the word of Elijah, and she eats, she and he, and her household--days;" ¹⁶ the pitcher of meal was not consumed, and the dish of oil did not lack, according to the word of Yahweh that He spoke by the hand of Elijah. ¹⁷ And it comes to pass, after these things, the son of the woman, mistress of the house, has been sick, and his sickness is very severe till that no breath has been left in him. ¹⁸ And she said unto Elijah, `What--to me and to you, O man of Elohim? you have come unto me to cause mine iniquity to be remembered, and to put my son to death!. <sup>19</sup> And he said unto her, `Give to me your son;' and he takes him out of her bosom, and takes him up unto the upper chamber where he is abiding, and lays him on his own bed,

²⁰ and cries unto Yahweh, and said, `Yahweh my Elohim, also on the widow with whom I am sojourning have You done evil--to put her son to death?. <sup>21</sup> And he stretches himself out on the lad three times, and calls unto Yahweh, and said, `O Yahweh my Elohim, let turn back, I pray You, the soul of this lad into his midst;.

¹⁹ and now, send, gather unto me all Israel, unto the mount of Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the shrine, four hundred--eating at the table of Jezebel..

³ And he fears, and rises, and goes for his life, and comes in to Beer-Sheba, that [is] Judah's, and leaves his young man there,

³⁵ And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbor by the word of Yahweh, `Smite me, I pray you;' and the man refuses to smite him,

⁹ And he sends unto him a head of fifty and his fifty, and he goes up unto him (and lo, he is sitting on the top of the hill), and he speaks unto him, `O man of Elohim, the king has spoken, Come down..

⁸ And Elijah takes his robe, and wraps [it] together, and smites the waters, and they are halved, hither and thither, and they pass over both of them on dry land. ⁹ And it comes to pass, at their passing over, that Elijah has said unto Elisha, `Ask, what do I do for you before I am taken from you?' and Elisha said, `Then let there be, I pray you, a double portion of your spirit unto me;.

²³ And he said, `Wherefore are you going unto him to-day? --neither new moon nor sabbath!' and she said, `Peace [to you]!. ²⁴ And she saddles the ass, and said unto her young man, `Lead, and go, do not restrain riding for me, except I have said [so] to you.. <sup>25</sup> And she goes, and comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill of Carmel, and it comes to pass, at the man of Elohim's seeing her from over-against, that he said unto Gehazi his young man, `Lo, this Shunammite;" ²⁶ now, run, I pray you, to meet her, and say to her, Is there peace to you? is there peace to your husband? is there peace to the lad?' and she said, `Peace.. <sup>27</sup> And she comes in unto the man of Elohim, unto the hill, and lays hold on his feet, and Gehazi comes nigh to thrust her away, and the man of Elohim said, `Let her alone, for her soul [is] bitter to her, and Yahweh has hidden [it] from me, and has not declared [it] to me.. ²⁸ And she said, `Did I ask a son from my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?. <sup>29</sup> And he said to Gehazi, `Gird up your loins, and take my staff in your hand, and go; when you do meet a man, you do not salute him; and when a man does salute you, you do not answer him; and you have laid my staff on the face of the youth.. ³⁰ And the mother of the youth said, `Yahweh lives, and your soul lives--if I leave you;' and he rises and goes after her. <sup>31</sup> And Gehazi has passed on before them, and lays the staff on the face of the youth, and there is no voice, and there is no attention, and he turns back to meet him, and declares to him, saying, `The youth has not awaked.. ³² And Elisha comes in to the house, and lo, the youth is dead, laid on his bed,

³¹ and the peoples of the land who are bringing in the wares and any corn on the sabbath-day to sell, we receive not of them on the sabbath, and on a holy day, and we leave the seventh year, and usury on every hand.

¹¹ For as the heavens are lofty over the earth, So is His benignity masterful over those fearing Him."

¹⁷ Yet the benignity of Yahweh is from eon unto eon over those fearing Him, And His righteousness continues for the sons of sons,

¹ {Praise Yah{ Happy is the man who fears Yahweh; In His instructions he very much delights. ² His seed shall become masterful in the land; The generation of the upright, it shall be blessed."

⁹ Causing the barren to dwell at home As a mother of sons, rejoicing. Praise Yah."

⁹ Glorify Yahweh with your wealth And with the firstfruits of all your income; ¹⁰ Then your granaries shall be filled to satisfaction, And grape juice shall breach your wine-vats."

¹³ Do not continue to bring a futile approach present. Incense--it is an abhorrence to Me! The new moon and the sabbath, the calling of a meeting--! I cannot bear a fast and a day of restraint!" ¹⁴ Your new moons and your appointments are hated by My soul. They become an encumbrance to Me. I am tired of bearing them. ¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

⁴ what is there to do further for My vineyard, that I have not done for it? For what reason, when I expect it to yield grapes, yet it is yielding stinking fruit?

²⁰ Go, my people! Come into your chambers, and close your doors about you. Hide for a little moment, till the menace shall pass."

⁸ Yet the patron counsels willingness, and he, in the willingness, is confirmed."

² It will bud, yea bud and exult, indeed, with exultation and jubilation. And the glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the honor of Carmel and Sharon. And My people shall see the glory of Yahweh, and the honor of our Elohim."

They have been ashamed, And have blushed and covered their head." ⁴ Because the ground has been broken, For there has been no rain in the land, Ashamed have been husbandmen, They have covered their head." ⁵ For even the hind in the field has brought forth--to forsake [it!] For there has been no grass. ⁶ And wild asses have stood on high places, They have swallowed up wind like dragons, Consumed have been their eyes, for there is no herb."

¹⁴ At the end of seven years you do send forth each his brother, the Hebrew, who is sold to you, and has served you six years, yea, you have sent him forth free from you:and your fathers hearkened not unto Me, nor inclined their ear."

³ `Son of man, these men have caused their idols to go up on their heart, and the stumbling-block of their iniquity they have put over-against their faces; am I inquired of at all by them?

¹⁵ supervising, that no one be wanting of the grace of God, nor any root of bitterness, sprouting up, may be annoying you, and through this the majority may be defiled,

² Be not forgetting hospitality, for through this some were oblivious when lodging messengers."

⁵ May fondness for money not be your manner, being sufficed with what is present, for He has declared: Under no circumstances may I be lax regarding you, Neither by any means may I be forsaking you."

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren! Does not God choose the poor in the world, rich in faith and enjoyers of the allotment of the kingdom which He promises to those who are loving Him?

¹³ For the judging is merciless to him who does not exercise mercy. Vaunting is mercy against judging.

¹³ Is anyone suffering evil among you? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him play music. ¹⁴ Is anyone infirm among you? Let him call to him the elders of the ecclesia, and let them pray over him, rubbing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord." ¹⁵ And the vow of faith will be saving the faltering and the Lord will be rousing him up, and, if he should have done sins, it will be forgiven him." ¹⁶ Then confess sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The operative petition of the just is availing much." ¹⁷ Elijah was a man of like emotions with us, and he prays in prayer for it not to rain, and it does not rain on the land three years and six months." ¹⁸ And again he prays, and heaven gives a shower and the earth germinates her fruit."

¹³ Wherefore, girding up the loins of your comprehension, being sober, expect perfectly the grace which is being brought to you at the unveiling of Jesus Christ."

¹ Likewise wives may do it by being subject to their own husbands, that, if any are stubborn also, as to the word, they will be gained without a word, through the behavior of their wives,

⁹ Be hospitable to one another without murmuring. ¹⁰ Each, according as he obtained a gracious gift, be dispensing it among yourselves, as ideal administrators of the varied grace of God;"

²¹ For not by the will of man was prophecy carried on at any time, but, being carried on by holy spirit, holy men of God speak."

² to remind you of the declarations which have been declared before by the holy prophets, and of the precept of your apostles of the Lord and Saviour,

⁴ Who may by no means be afraid of Thee, Lord, And glorify Thy name? For Thou only art benign. For all the nations shall arrive And worship before Thee, For Thy just awards were made manifest."

⁵ And a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all His slaves, and those who are fearing Him, the small and the great."
