¹³ and brings out thence all the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the house of the king, and cuts in pieces all the vessels of gold that Solomon king of Israel made in the temple of Yahweh, as Yahweh had spoken.

⁴⁸ And Solomon makes all the vessels that [are] in the house of Yahweh:the altar of gold, and the table--on which [is] the bread of the Presence--of gold, ⁴⁹ and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, ⁵⁰ and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

¹⁷ Lo, days are coming, and borne has been all that [is] in your house, and that your father have treasured up till this day, to Babylon; there is not left a thing, said Yahweh;"

¹³ And the pillars of brass that [are] in the house of Yahweh, and the bases, and the sea of brass, that [is] in the house of Yahweh, have the Chaldeans broken in pieces, and bear away their brass to Babylon. ¹⁴ And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they minister they have taken, ¹⁵ and the fire-pans, and the bowls that [are] wholly of silver, has the chief of the executioners taken.

⁷ And he makes the ten candlesticks of gold, according to their ordinance, and places in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left. ⁸ And he makes ten tables, and places in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left; and he makes bowls of gold a hundred. ⁹ And he makes the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and their doors he has overlaid with brass. ¹⁰ And the sea he has placed on the right shoulder eastward, over-against the south. ¹¹ And Huram makes the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls, and Huram finishes to make the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of Elohim;" ¹² two pillars, and the bowls, and the crowns on the heads of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two bowls of the crowns that [are] on the heads of the pillars;" ¹³ and the pomegranates four hundred to the two wreaths, two rows of pomegranates to the one wreath, to cover the two bowls of the crowns that [are] on the front of the pillars. ¹⁴ And the bases he has made; and the lavers he has made on the bases; ¹⁵ the one sea, and the twelve oxen under it, ¹⁶ and the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels, has Huram his father made for king Solomon, for the house of Yahweh, of brass purified. ¹⁷ In the circuit of the Jordan has the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zeredathah. ¹⁸ And Solomon makes all these vessels in great abundance, that the weight of the brass has not been searched out. ¹⁹ And Solomon makes all the vessels that [are for] the house of Elohim, and the altar of gold, and the tables, and on them [is] bread of the presence;" ²⁰ and the candlesticks, and their lamps, for their burning according to the ordinance, before the oracle, of gold refined;" ²¹ and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold--it [is] the perfection of gold;" ²² and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of gold refined, and the opening of the house, its innermost doors to the holy of holies, and the doors of the house to the temple, of gold.

⁷ As for king Cyrus, he brought forth the articles of the House of Yahweh which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth from Jerusalem and had put them in the house of his idol. ⁸ Cyrus king of Persia brought them forth by the hand of the treasurer Mithredath who counted them off to Sheshbazzar prince of Judah. ⁹ Now these were the numbers of them:thirty vessels of gold, a thousand vessels of silver, twenty-nine alternatives, ¹⁰ thirty small bowls of gold, two thousand four hundred ten small bowls of silver, a thousand other articles. ¹¹ All the articles of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up while bringing up the sons of deportation from Babylon to Jerusalem.

⁶ `Behold! The days are coming,' averring is Yahweh, when all that is in your house, and that your forefathers treasured unto this day, shall be carried away. It shall come to Babylon. And not a thing shall be left,' says Yahweh."

⁵ And I have given all the strength of this city, And all its labor, and all its precious things, Yea, all the treasures of the kings of Judah I do give into the hand of their enemies, And they have spoiled them, and taken them, And have brought them into Babylon."

¹⁶ And unto the priests, and unto all this people, I have spoken, saying, `Thus said Yahweh, You do not hearken unto the words of your prophets, who are prophesying to you, saying, Lo, the vessels of the house of Yahweh are brought back from Babylon now in haste, for falsehood they are prophesying to you." <sup>17</sup> You do not hearken unto them, serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why is this city a waste? <sup>18</sup> `And, if they be prophets, and if a word of Yahweh be with them, let them intercede, I pray you, with Yahweh of Hosts, so that the vessels that are left in the house of Yahweh, and [in] the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem, have not gone into Babylon." ¹⁹ For thus said Yahweh of Hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city, ²⁰ That Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has not taken, in his removing Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon with all the freemen of Judah and Jerusalem, ²¹ Surely thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left of the house of Yahweh, and of the house of the king of Judah, and [in] Jerusalem:"

³ Within two years of days I am bringing back unto this place all the vessels of the house of Yahweh that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken from this place, and does carry to Babylon, ⁴ And Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the removed of Judah, who are entering Babylon, I am bringing back unto this place--an affirmation of Yahweh; for I do break the yoke of the king of Babylon.'"

⁶ Yea, Jeremiah the prophet said, `Amen! so may Yahweh do; Yahweh establish your words that you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the house of Yahweh and all the removal from Babylon, unto this place."

² When tasting the turbid wine, Belshazzar says to bring hither the gold and silver vessels of the house of Eloah which his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, that they may drink from them--the king and his grandees, his consorts and his concubines." ³ Then they bring hither the gold and silver vessels which they had taken from the temple, the house of the Eloah in Jerusalem. And they drink from them--the king and his grandees, his consorts and his concubines."
