⁷ for sons of Athaliah, the wicked one, have broken up the house of Elohim, and also, all the holy things of the house of Yahweh they have prepared for Baalim..

¹⁵ When Yeshurun grew stout and kicked (you will be stout, thick and burly), then he abandoned Eloah Who had made him and disgraced the Rock of his salvation. ¹⁶ They made Him jealous with alien gods, with abhorrences they provoked Him to vexation. ¹⁷ They sacrificed to demons, not Eloah, to elohim--they had not known them before--to new ones that came from nearby; your fathers were not horrified by them.

⁴ And Jehoash said unto the priests, `All the money of the sanctified things that is brought in to the house of Yahweh, the money of him who is passing over, each the money of his valuation, all the money that it goes up on the heart of a man to bring in to the house of Yahweh,

¹⁷ and they come up into Judah, and rend it, and take captive all the substance that is found at the house of the king, and also his sons, and his wives, and there has not been left to him a son except Jehoahaz the youngest of his sons.

²² And in the time of his distress--he adds to trespass against Yahweh, (this king Ahaz), ²³ and he sacrifices to the elohims of Damascus--those smiting him, and said, `Because the elohims of the kings of Aram are helping them, to them I sacrifice, and they help me,' and they have been to him to cause him to stumble, and to all Israel. ²⁴ And Ahaz gathers the vessels of the house of Elohim, and cuts in pieces the vessels of the house of Elohim, and shuts the doors of the house of Yahweh, and makes to himself altars in every corner in Jerusalem.

⁶ Esther replied:The man, the foe and enemy, is this evil Haman. Haman was frightened before the king and the queen.

⁷ The memory of the righteous one is a blessing, Yet the name of the wicked shall rot away."

¹⁷ And you do take your beauteous vessels Of My gold and My silver that I gave to you, And do make to you images of a male, And do go a-whoring with them, ¹⁸ And do take the garments of your embroidery, And you do cover them, And My oil and My perfume you have set before them." ¹⁹ And My bread, that I gave to you, Fine flour, and oil, and honey, that I caused you to eat. You have even set it before them, For a sweet fragrance--thus it is, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." ²⁰ And you do take your sons and your daughters Whom you have born to Me, And do sacrifice them to them for food. Is it a little thing because of your whoredoms, ²¹ That you do slaughter My sons, And do give them up in causing them to pass over to them?

² When tasting the turbid wine, Belshazzar says to bring hither the gold and silver vessels of the house of Eloah which his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, that they may drink from them--the king and his grandees, his consorts and his concubines." ³ Then they bring hither the gold and silver vessels which they had taken from the temple, the house of the Eloah in Jerusalem. And they drink from them--the king and his grandees, his consorts and his concubines." ⁴ They drink the turbid wine and laud the elohim of gold, silver, copper, iron, wood, and stone."

²³ Over the Lord, the Eloah of the heavens, you exalt yourself; the vessels of His house they bring hither before you; you and your grandees, your consorts and your concubines are drinking turbid wine from them. Also elohim of silver, gold, copper, iron, wood, and stone who are not perceiving and not hearing and not knowing, these you laud, yet the Eloah in Whose hand is your breath, and for Whom are all your paths, Him you do not honor."

⁸ Yet she knew not that I gave her the grain and the grape juice and the clarified oil. And I increased silver and gold for her, which they made into a Baal." ⁹ Wherefore I will return, and I take My grain in its season and My grape juice in its appointment. And I rescue My wool and My flax given to cover her nakedness."

¹³ And I visit on her the days of the Baals, in which she was fuming incense to them and ornamenting herself with her pendant and her eardrop, and she is going after her lovers, and she forgot Me, (averring is Yahweh)."

⁸ then will be unveiled the lawless one (whom the Lord Jesus will despatch with the spirit of His mouth and will discard by the advent of His presence),

²⁰ But I have much against you, seeing that you pardon that woman of yours, Jezebel, who says that she is a prophetess, and is teaching and deceiving My slaves so as to commit prostitution and to be eating idol sacrifices."
