1 Peter 2:2 Cross References - CLV

² as recently born babes, long for the unadulterated milk of the word that by it you may be growing into salvation,

⁵ For--not so [is] my house with El; For--a covenant eonian He made with me, Arranged in all things, and kept; For--all my salvation, and all desire, For--He has not caused [it] to spring up.

⁹ But the righteous one holds to his way, And the one of clean hands continues in resoluteness.

⁷ The law of Yahweh is flawless, restoring the soul; The testimony of Yahweh is faithful, making wise the simple;" ⁸ The precepts of Yahweh are upright, rejoicing the heart; The instruction of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes;" ⁹ The fear of Yahweh is clean, standing unto the future; The judgments of Yahweh are truth; they are righteous altogether:" ¹⁰ Coveted more than gold, and more than much glittering gold, And sweeter than honey and drips of the combs."

¹⁸ While the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn's brightness, Advancing and becoming resplendent until the day is established,

³ And we shall know--we shall pursue to know Yahweh; as the dawn is prepared we shall find Him, and He will come to us as a downpour, as the latter rain and the former rain of the land."

⁵ I will become as the night mist to Israel. He shall bud as the anemone and shall stretch out his roots as Lebanon.

⁷ The dwellers in his shadow shall return; they shall make the grain to live; the remembrance of Him shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

² Yet the Sun of righteousness shall radiate to you who fear My name, and healing is in its wings. And you shall come forth, and you prance as calves of the stall."

³ and said, "Verily, I am saying to you, If you should not be turning and becoming as little children, you may by no means be entering into the kingdom of the heavens."

¹⁵ Verily, I am saying to you, Whosoever should not be receiving the kingdom of God as a little child, may under no circumstances be entering into it."

⁴ We, then, were entombed together with Him through baptism into death, that, even as Christ was roused from among the dead through the glory of the Father, thus we also should be walking in newness of life."

¹ And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshy, as to minors in Christ." ² Milk I give you to drink, not solid food, for not as yet were you able. Nay, still, not even now are you able,

²⁰ Brethren, do not become little children in disposition. But in evil be minors, yet in disposition become mature."

²¹ in Whom the entire building, being connected together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord:"

¹⁵ Now, being true, in love we should be making all grow into Him, Who is the Head - Christ"

³ We ought to be thanking God always concerning you, brethren, according as it is meet; seeing that your faith is flourishing and the love of each one of you all for one another is increasing,

¹² For when also, because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need again of one to teach you what are the rudimentary elements of the oracles of God, and you have come to have need of milk, and not of solid nourishment." ¹³ For everyone who is partaking of milk is untried in the word of righteousness, for he is a minor."

²³ having been regenerated, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, living and permanent,

¹⁸ Yet be growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory now, as well as for the day of the eon. Amen!"
