¹⁶ And he builds the twenty cubits on the sides of the house with ribs of cedar, from the floor unto the walls; and he builds for it within, for the oracle, for the holy of holies.

²¹ Then you will put the propitiatory shelter on the coffer from above; and you shall put the testimony which I shall give to you into the coffer. ²² I will keep appointment with you there, and I will speak with you above the propitiatory shelter from between the two cherubim which are over the coffer of the testimony of all which I am instructing you for the sons of Israel.

²³ And two hollow tapers shall you make for the cutout corners of the tabernacle, in the flanks.

³³ and you will put the curtain under the links. Then you will bring there, inside the curtain, the coffer of the testimony. The curtain will separate for you between the holy place and the holy of holies;" ³⁴ and you will put the propitiatory shelter on the coffer of the testimony in the holy of holies.

² Yahweh said to Moses:Speak to Aaron your brother that he must not come at just any time into the holy place, inside the curtain before the propitiatory shelter which is on the coffer so that he may not die, for in the cloud shall I appear over the propitiatory shelter.

⁵ And he builds against the wall of the house a couch round about, [even] the walls of the house round about, of the temple and of the oracle, and makes sides round about.

¹⁹ And the oracle in the midst of the house within he has prepared, to put there the ark of the covenant of Yahweh. ²⁰ And before the oracle [is] twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits [is] its height; and he overlays it with gold refined, and overlays the altar with cedar.

⁶ And the priests bring in the ark of the covenant of Yahweh unto its place, unto the oracle of the house, unto the holy of holies, unto the place of the wings of the cherubs;"

⁸ And he makes the most holy house:its length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and he covers it with good gold, to six hundred talents;"

³ And by this measure you do measure:the length [is] five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand:and in it is the sanctuary, the holy of holies."
