¹⁷ Now in giving this charge I am not applauding, for you are coming together, not for the better, but for discomfiture."

¹⁷ You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall admonish, yea admonish your companion so that you may not bear sin with him.

¹³ Do not continue to bring a futile approach present. Incense--it is an abhorrence to Me! The new moon and the sabbath, the calling of a meeting--! I cannot bear a fast and a day of restraint!" ¹⁴ Your new moons and your appointments are hated by My soul. They become an encumbrance to Me. I am tired of bearing them.

¹ Call with a full throat! You must not keep back! As a trumpet, raise high your voice! And tell to My people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins." ² Yet, for Me, day by day are they inquiring, and in the knowledge of My ways are they delighting, as a nation which does righteousness, and the judgment of its Elohim does not forsake. They are asking Me for righteous judgments. In the nearness of their Elohim are they delighting." ³ Why do we fast, yet You do not see? We humble our souls, yet You are not knowing?Behold! In the day of your fast you are finding delight, and all your grievous labors are you exacting of others." ⁴ Behold! For contention and strife are you fasting, and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Not to Me are you fasting, as of today, to announce in the height with your voice."

⁹ Stealing, murdering, and committing adultery, And swearing to falsehood, and giving perfume to Baal, And going after other elohims whom you knew not." ¹⁰ And you have come in and stood before Me, In this house on which My name is called, And have said, `We have been delivered,' In order to do all these abominations."

³ for magistrates are not a fear to the good act, but to the evil. Now you do not want to be fearing the authority. Do good, and you will be having applause from it."

² Now I am applauding you that you remember all of mine, and are retaining the traditions according as I give them over to you."

²⁰ Then, at your coming together in the same place, it is not to be eating the Lord's dinner,

²² For have you no homes at all in which to eat and drink? Or are you despising the ecclesia of God, and mortifying those who have nothing? What may I be saying to you? Shall I be applauding you in this? I am not applauding."

³⁴ Now if anyone may be hungry, let him eat at home, that you may not be coming together for judgment. Now the rest I shall be prescribing as soon as I should be coming."

²³ If then, the whole ecclesia should be coming together in the same place, and all should be speaking in languages, yet should plain persons or unbelievers be entering, will they not be declaring that you are mad?

²⁶ What, then, is it, brethren? Whenever you may be coming together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a language, has a translation. Let all occur to edification."

²⁵ not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, according as the custom of some is, but entreating, and so much rather as you are observing the day drawing near."
