⁹ `Lo, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his enemies round about, for Solomon is his name, and peace and quietness I give unto Israel in his days;"

²⁴ And Gideon builds there an altar to Yahweh, and calls it Yahweh-Shalom, unto this day it [is] yet in Ophrah of the Abi-Ezrites.

¹² `When your days are full, and you have lain with your fathers, then I have raised up your seed after you which goes out from your bowels, and have established his kingdom;" ¹³ He does build a house for My Name, and I have established the throne of his kingdom unto the eon.

²⁴ And David comforts Bath-Sheba his wife, and goes in unto her, and lies with her, and she bears a son, and he calls his name Solomon; and Yahweh has loved him, ²⁵ and sends by the hand of Nathan the prophet, and calls his name Jedidiah, because of Yahweh.

²⁰ Judah and Israel [are] many, as the sand that [is] by the sea for multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.

²⁵ And Judah dwells--and Israel--in confidence, each under his vine, and under his fig-tree, from Dan even unto Beer-Sheba, all the days of Solomon.

⁴ `And now, Yahweh my Elohim has given rest to me round about, there is no adversary nor evil occurrence,

¹¹ and it has come to pass, when your days have been fulfilled to go with your fathers, that I have raised up your seed after you, who is of your sons, and I have established his kingdom,

⁵ and out of all my sons--for many sons has Yahweh given to me--He also fixes on Solomon my son, to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Yahweh over Israel, ⁶ and said to me, Solomon your son, he does build My house, and My courts, for I have fixed on him to Me for a son, and I--I am to him for a father, ⁷ and I have established his kingdom to the eon, if he is strong to do My commands, and My judgments, as at this day.

²⁹ When He is quiet, who can condemn? When He conceals His face, who can regard Him? Yet He is over a nation and over humanity alike.

⁷ Righteousness shall bud in His day, And abundant peace until the moon is no more."

⁶ For a Boy is born to us; a Son is given to us, and the chieftainship shall come to be on His shoulder, and His name is called "Marvelous.Counsel to the master shall He bring, to the chief of the future, welfare." ⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

¹² Yahweh, our Elohim, You are the Setter of welfare on the hearthstones for us, for, moreover, all our doings You do contrive for us."

⁷ Former of light and Creator of darkness, Maker of good and Creator of evil. I, Yahweh Elohim, made all of these things."

¹⁹ Creator of the produce of the lips, welfare, welfare to the far and to the near,says Yahweh, "and I heal him."

¹² For thus says Yahweh, "Behold Me stretching out welfare to her, as a stream, and, as a watercourse overflowing, the glory of the nations. And suck do you. On the side are you being borne, and on the knees are you being dandled."

⁹ Greater shall become the glory of this latter house than the former, says Yahweh of hosts. And in this place will I give peace, (averring is Yahweh of hosts)."
