⁷ And I heard the altar saying, "Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments."

⁶ Then one of the seraphim was sent to me, and he had in his hand a coal which he had taken off the altar with the tongs;

² And He said to the man clothed with the long robe, Go in between the wheels that are under the cherubim, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in my sight.

⁷ And he stretched forth his hand into the midst of the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of the man clothed with the sacred robe: and he took it, and went out.

⁹ And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.

³ Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. And much incense was given to him, so that he could offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which is before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints out of the hand of the angel before God. ⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and he cast it to the earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

¹⁰ If anyone has captivity, he goes away; if anyone is with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

¹⁰ then he shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a loud cry to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the grape clusters of the vine of the earth, because the grapes are ripe."

³ And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations! ⁴ Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, because Your righteous judgments have been manifested."

² For true and righteous are His judgments, for He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged the blood of His servants shed by her hand."
