³² Afterwards I reflected, I looked that I might receive instruction.

¹¹ And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall not again do according to this evil thing among you.

²¹ And the men of his city shall stone him with stones, and he shall die; and you shall remove the evil one from yourselves, and the rest shall hear and fear.

²⁹ They had not sense to understand; let them reserve these things against the time to come.

¹⁷ For what is man, that You have magnified him? Or that You give heed to him?

⁴ Be angry, and sin not; feel compunction upon your beds for what you say in your hearts. Pause.

¹⁹ But Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart.

⁵¹ Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them. And His mother kept all these things in her heart.

⁶ Now these things became examples for us, in order that we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

¹¹ Now all these things happened to those people as examples, and they were written for our instruction, to whom the ends of the ages have come.

⁵ But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. ⁶ And the angels who did not keep their own domain, but rather having left their own habitation, He has kept with everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; ⁷ as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to fornication and having gone after other flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
