³ For behold, the Lord comes forth out of His place, and will come down, and will go upon the high places of the earth.

¹³ He brought them up on the strength of the land; He fed them with the fruits of the fields; they sucked honey out of the rock, and oil out of the solid rock.

²⁹ Blessed are you, O Israel; who is like you, O people saved by the Lord? Your helper shall hold His shield over you, and His sword is your boast; and your enemies shall speak falsely to you, and you shall tread upon their neck.

³ But our God has done in heaven and on earth, whatsoever He has pleased.

¹⁰ Now therefore enter into the rocks, and hide yourselves in the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of His might, when He shall arise to strike mightily the earth. ¹¹ For the eyes of the Lord are high, but man is low; and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. ¹² For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon everyone that is proud and haughty, and upon everyone that is high and lifted up, and they shall be brought down; ¹³ and upon every cedar of Lebanon, of them that are high and lifted up, and upon every oak of Bashan, ¹⁴ and upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, ¹⁵ and upon every high tower, and upon every high wall, ¹⁶ and upon every ship of the sea, and upon every display of fine ships. ¹⁷ And every man shall be brought low, and the pride of men shall fall; and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. ¹⁸ And they shall hide all idols made with hands, ¹⁹ having carried them into the caves, and into the clefts of the rocks, and into the caverns of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of His might, when He shall arise to strike mightily the earth.

¹⁰ God will give rest on this mountain, and the country of Moab shall be trodden down, as they tread the floor with wagons.

²¹ For behold, the Lord is bringing wrath from His holy place on those that dwell upon the earth; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall not cover her slain.

³ I am full of trodden grapes, and of the nations there is not a man with Me; and I trampled them in My fury, and dashed them to pieces as earth, and brought down their blood to the earth. ⁴ For the day of recompense has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand.

¹ If you would open the heaven, trembling will take hold upon the mountains from You, and they shall melt, ² as wax melts before the fire; and fire shall burn up the enemies, and Your name shall be manifest among the adversaries; at Your presence the nations shall be troubled,

¹² Then the Spirit took me up, and I heard behind me the voice as of a great earthquake, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His place.

¹⁴ For I am as a panther to Ephraim, and as a lion to the house of Judah. And I will tear, and go away; and I will take, and there shall be none to deliver. ¹⁵ I will go and return to My place, until they are brought to nought, and then shall they seek My face.

¹³ For behold, I am He that strengthens the thunder, and creates the wind, and proclaims His Messiah unto men, forming the morning and the darkness, and mounting on the high places of the earth; The Lord God Almighty is His name.

¹⁹ The Lord God is my strength, and He will perfectly strengthen my feet; He mounts me upon high places, that I may conquer by His song.
