⁷⁴ Then he began to curse and swear, saying, "I do not know the Man!" And immediately a rooster crowed.

² And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver which you took of yourself, and about which you cursed me, and spoke in my ears, saying, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of the Lord.

¹⁸ For we shall not be able to give them wives of our daughters, because we swore among the children of Israel, saying, Cursed is he that gives a wife to Benjamin.

³² "Therefore whoever who will confess Me before men, I also will confess Him before My Father who is in heaven. ³³ But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

²⁵ And all the people answered and said, "His blood be on us and on our children."

³⁰ Jesus said to him, "Assuredly I say to you, that you, today on this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times."

⁶⁸ But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you are saying." And he went outside into the forecourt, and a rooster crowed.

Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said to him, "Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And when he thought about it, he began to weep.

⁶⁰ But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are saying!" And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

¹² Now when it was day, some of the Jews joined in a conspiracy and bound themselves by a curse, saying neither would they eat nor drink until they would kill Paul. ¹³ And there were over four hundred who had made this plot; ¹⁴ who came to the chief priests and to the elders and said, "We have bound ourselves by oath with a curse to taste nothing until we kill Paul.

³ For I could wish that I myself to be accursed from Christ on behalf of my brothers, my countrymen according to the flesh,

²² If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema. Marana tha!

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
