²⁵ Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.

⁸ Who alone has stretched out the heavens, and walks on the sea as on firm ground.

³ The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voices, ⁴ at the voices of many waters; the billows of the sea are wonderful; the Lord is wonderful in high places.

³ Who covers His chambers with waters; who makes the clouds His chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.

⁴³ But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have kept watch, and he would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

⁴⁸ Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them walking on the sea, and He wanted to pass by them.

³⁸ And if he comes in the second watch, or comes in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

¹⁹ Therefore having rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near to the boat; and they were frightened.

² and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left one on the land,

⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven

⁸ Then the voice which I heard from heaven was speaking with me again and saying, "Go, take the little scroll which was open in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and on the land."
