Mark 16 Cross References - CAB

1 Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 And they said to one another, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?" 4 And having looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away--for it was exceedingly large. 5 And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right clothed with a white robe, and they were alarmed. 6 But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You are seeking Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has arisen! He is not here! See the place where they put Him. 7 But go, say to His disciples, and Peter, that He is going before you into Galilee; there you shall see Him, just as He said to you." 8 And going out, they fled from the tomb, but trembling and amazement held them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. 9 Now having arisen early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and reported to those who had been with Him, as they were grieving and weeping. 11 And those, when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they disbelieved. 12 After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them as they were going into the country. 13 And those returned and reported it to the rest; but neither did they believe them. 14 Afterwards He appeared to the eleven as they were reclining at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been raised. 15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all creation. 16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that does not believe shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall accompany those who have believed: In My name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall pick up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it shall by no means hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall be well." 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

28 Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He made as though He was going farther. 29 But they constrained Him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them.

Luke 24:29-32

29 But they constrained Him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent." And He went in to stay with them. 30 Now it came to pass, as He was reclining to eat with them, having taken bread, He blessed and broke it, and He gave it to them.

Luke 24:30-32

30 Now it came to pass, as He was reclining to eat with them, having taken bread, He blessed and broke it, and He gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight.

Luke 24:31-32

31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from their sight. 32 And they said to one another, "Was not our heart burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, and while He was interpreting the Scriptures to us?"

Luke 24:32-32

32 And they said to one another, "Was not our heart burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, and while He was interpreting the Scriptures to us?" 33 So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, "The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!" 35 And they described the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread. 36 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you." 37 But being alarmed and becoming fearful, they thought they saw a spirit.

Luke 24:37-43

37 But being alarmed and becoming fearful, they thought they saw a spirit. 38 And He said to them, "Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." 40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41 But as they still disbelieved for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Do you have any food here?" 42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. 43 And taking it, He ate it in their presence. 44 Then He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me." 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. 46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

Luke 24:46-51

46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Luke 24:47-51

47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And you are witnesses of these things.

Luke 24:48-51

48 And you are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." 50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up His hands, He blessed them. 51 And it happened, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

John 1:12-13

12 But as many as received Him, He gave them the authority to become children of God, to those who believe in His name; 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 2:19-22

19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." 20 Then the Jews said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?" 21 But He was speaking about the temple of His body. 22 Therefore, when He was raised up from among the dead, His disciples remembered that He spoke this thing, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

John 3:5

5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

John 3:15-16

15 that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:18-19

18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

John 3:36

36 He who believes in the Son has eternal life; and he who does not believe the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

John 5:24

24 "Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

John 6:29

29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

John 6:35

35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

John 6:40

40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

John 6:62

62 What then if you should see the Son of Man ascending where He was before?

John 7:37-38

37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He that believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water."

John 8:24

24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

John 11:25-26

25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

John 12:46-48

46 I have come as a light into the world, so that whoever believes in Me may not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world. 48 He that rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word which I spoke, that word will judge him in the last day.

John 13:1

1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

John 14:12

12 "Most assuredly I say to you, he that believes in Me, the works which I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

John 15:16

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you may ask the Father in My name He may give to you.

John 16:6

6 "But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

John 16:20-22

20 Most assuredly I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be grieved, but your grief will be turned into joy. 21 A woman, whenever she gives birth, has sorrow, because her hour has come; but whenever the child is born, she no longer remembers the anguish, on account of the joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you also now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

John 16:28

28 I came forth from the Father and I have come into the world. Again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father."

John 17:4-5

4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me alongside Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

John 17:13

13 But now I am coming to You, and these things I speak in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

John 19:19-20

19 Now Pilate wrote a title and he put it on the cross. And it was written: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Then many of the Jews read this title, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Greek, and in Latin.

John 19:25

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

John 19:31

31 Therefore the Jews, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and they might be taken away.

John 19:39-40

39 And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. 40 Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen strips with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.

John 20:1-10

1 On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

John 20:1

1 On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him." 3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 And the two together were running, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen strips lying there; however he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb; and he saw the linen strips lying there, 7 and the facecloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen strips, but apart from them, having been rolled up in one place. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

John 20:8

8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes. 11 But Mary stood outside facing the tomb weeping. Therefore as she was weeping, she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

John 20:12

12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

John 20:14-19

14 And having said these things, she turned back and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom do you seek?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You carried Him away, tell me where You put Him, and I will take Him away." 16 Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which means, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' "

John 20:17

17 Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' " 18 Mary Magdalene went reporting to the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.

John 20:18

18 Mary Magdalene went reporting to the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her. 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace to you."

John 20:19-20

19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace to you." 20 And having said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 Therefore Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! Just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you."

John 20:25

25 The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will by no means believe."

John 20:27

27 Then He said to Thomas, "Bring your finger here, and see My hands; and bring your hand here, and put it into My side. Be not unbelieving, but believing."

John 20:31

31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.

John 21:1

1 After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this manner He showed Himself:

John 21:14

14 This was now the third time Jesus was manifested to His disciples, having been raised from the dead. 15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

John 21:22

22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me."

Acts 1:2-3

2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many convincing proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Acts 1:8

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." 9 Now after He said these things, while they were beholding Him, He was lifted up, and a cloud withdrew Him from their sight. 10 And while they looked intently into heaven, while He was going, behold, two men stood along side them in white apparel, 11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you watched Him go into heaven."

Acts 2:1-28

1 And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly a sound came out of heaven, as being borne along by a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in different languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:4-28

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in different languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation of those under heaven.

Acts 2:5-28

5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation of those under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because they were hearing each one speaking in his own language.

Acts 2:6-28

6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because they were hearing each one speaking in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and were marveling, saying to one another, "Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?

7 And they were all amazed and were marveling, saying to one another, "Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

Acts 2:8-28

8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,

Acts 2:9-28

9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya toward Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya toward Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs--we hear them speaking in our own tongues the mighty deeds of God."

Acts 2:11-28

11 Cretans and Arabs--we hear them speaking in our own tongues the mighty deeds of God." 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, "What might this mean?" 13 Others were mocking and saying, "They are full of new wine." 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. 15 "For these are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is just the third hour of the day. 16 "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 "And it shall be in the last days", says God, "that I will pour from My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;" 18 "And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be changed into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the Lord. 21 And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." 22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves also know--

Acts 2:22-28

22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves also know-- 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you took, and by lawless hands, nailing Him to a cross, you killed Him;

Acts 2:23-28

23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you took, and by lawless hands, nailing Him to a cross, you killed Him; 24 whom God raised, thus doing away with the labor pains of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him, "I foresaw the Lord always before Me, because He is at My right hand, that I may not be shaken. 26 Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope. 27 Because You will not abandon my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; You will fill me full of joy in Your presence."

Acts 2:33

33 "Therefore having being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Acts 8:4-6

4 Therefore those who were scattered went about preaching the good news of the word. 5 And Philip, going down to a city of Samaria, was preaching to them the Christ. 6 And the crowds with one accord gave heed to the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the signs which he was doing. 7 For many of the ones having unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, they came out; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For "whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear apart from a preacher?

Romans 10:18

18 But I say, have they not heard? Yes, indeed they have: "Their voice went out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world."

Romans 15:19

19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

26 (14:25) but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the eternal God, for obedience to the faith--

1 Corinthians 2:4-5

4 And my message and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 in order that your faith might not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 3:6-9

6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gives the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are coworkers with God; you are God's field, you are God's building.

1 Corinthians 12:9

9 and to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another different kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.

1 Corinthians 12:28

28 And those whom God has appointed in the church are: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, kinds of tongues.

1 Corinthians 12:30

30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

1 Corinthians 13:1

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clashing cymbal.

1 Corinthians 14:2

2 For he who speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not to men, but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

1 Corinthians 14:4-26

4 He who speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 Now I wish you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you should prophesy; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edification. 6 But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either in a revelation, or in knowledge, or in a prophesy, or in doctrine? 7 Likewise the lifeless things, when they make a sound, whether flute or harp, unless they make a distinction in the tones, how will it be known what is being played on the flute, or what is being played on the harp? 8 For if the trumpet gives an indistinct sound, who will prepare for battle? 9 So also you, if you do not give a clear word by the tongue, how will it be known what is being spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. 10 There are, perhaps, so many kinds of sounds in the world, and none of them without meaning. 11 Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the sound, I shall be as a foreigner to the one speaking, and the one speaking shall be as a foreigner to me. 12 So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that you may abound to the edification of the church. 13 Therefore let he that speaks in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the mind. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the mind. 16 Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say "Amen" when you give thanks, since he does not know what you are saying? 17 For you indeed give thanks well, but the other is not edified. 18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all; 19 but in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, in order that I may instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. 20 Brothers, do not be children in your understanding; rather, in malice be children, but in understanding be men. 21 In the law it is written: "With men of other tongues and by strange lips I will speak to this people; and yet not even in this way will they hear Me," says the Lord. 22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. 23 If then the whole church comes together at the same place, and all speak in tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad? 24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an unlearned person comes in, he is reproved by all, he is discerned by all. 25 And so the secrets of his heart become clear; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God, reporting that God is truly among you! 26 What is it then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each of you has a song, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

1 Corinthians 15:3-7

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

1 Corinthians 15:5

5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Thereafter He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, of whom the majority remain until now, but some have died. 7 Thereafter He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

1 Corinthians 15:24-25

24 Then will be the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He abolishes every ruler and every authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He puts all His enemies under His feet.

2 On the first day of the week let each one of you put something aside, storing up whatever he may prosper, in order that there be no collections when I come.

20 which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies, 21 above every ruler and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the coming age. 22 And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

17 And having come, He preached peace to you who were far away and to those near.

Ephesians 4:8-11

8 Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." 9 But that "He ascended"--what it is but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended, He is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. 11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

23 if indeed you continue in the faith, having been founded and firm and not drifting away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was proclaimed to all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

Hebrews 3:7-8

7 Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness,

Hebrews 3:15-19

15 while it is said: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion." 16 For some, having heard, did provoke: but not all who came out of Egypt through Moses. 17 And with whom was He indignant forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest, except to those who disobeyed? 19 And we see that they were not able to enter on account of unbelief.

Hebrews 4:14

14 Therefore having a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession.

26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Hebrews 10:19-22

19 Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies having been washed with clean water.

1 John 5:10-13
