⁷ In that you bring to My altar polluted bread; and you said, In what way have we polluted it? In that you say, The table of the Lord is polluted, and that which was set on it you have despised.

¹¹ You shall not leaven any sacrifice which you shall bring to the Lord; for as to any leaven, or any honey, you shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord.

⁶ They shall be holy to their God, and they shall not profane the name of their God; for they offer the sacrifices of the Lord as the gifts of their God, and they shall be holy.

²¹ And if there be in it a blemish, if it is lame or blind, (an evil blemish) you shall not sacrifice it to the Lord your God.

¹⁵ And before the fat was burnt for a sweet savor, the servant of the priest would come, and say to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest, and I will by no means take from you boiled flesh out of the caldron. ¹⁶ And if the man that sacrificed said, First let the fat be burned, as it is fit, and take for yourself of all things which your soul desires. Then he would say, No, but you shall give it to me now; and if not I will take it by force. ¹⁷ So the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord, for they despised the offering of the Lord.

²² a wooden altar, the height of it three cubits, and the length two cubits, and the breadth two cubits; and it had horns, and the base of it and the sides of it were of wood. And he said to me, This is the table, which is before the face of the Lord.

⁸ For if you bring a blind victim for sacrifices, is it not evil? And if you bring the lame or the sick, is it not evil? Offer it now to your ruler, and see if he will receive you, if he will accept your person, says the Lord Almighty.

¹² But you profane it, in that you say, The table of the Lord is polluted, and His foods set on it are despised.

²¹ You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.

²¹ For when you eat, each one takes first his own supper, and one goes hungry and another is drunk! ²² What? Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God, and disgrace those who do not have? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you!

²⁷ Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord irreverently will be guilty of the body of the Lord and of the blood of the Lord. ²⁸ But let a man examine himself, and in this way let him eat from the bread and drink from the cup. ²⁹ For he that eats and drinks irreverently eats and drinks judgment to himself, not judging correctly the body of the Lord. ³⁰ Because of this many among you are weak and sick, and many have died. ³¹ For if we judge ourselves correctly, we would not be judged. ³² But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, in order that we may not be condemned with the world.
