³⁴ For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

²⁵ And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and put it upon the seventy men that were elders; and when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied and ceased.

⁹ And it came to pass while they were crossing over, that Elijah said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken up from you. And Elisha said, Let there be a double portion of your spirit upon me.

⁷ You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beyond Your companions.

² and the Spirit of God shall rest upon Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and godliness shall fill Him; ³ the spirit of the fear of God. He shall not judge according to appearance, nor reprove according to report; ⁴ but He shall judge the cause of the lowly, and shall reprove the lowly of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the word of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He destroy the ungodly one. ⁵ And He shall have His loins girded with righteousness, and His sides clothed with truth.

²¹ And this shall be My covenant with them, said the Lord; My Spirit which is upon you, and the words which I have put in your mouth, shall never fail from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, for the Lord has spoken it, henceforth and forever!

¹ For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as light, and My salvation burn as a torch. ² And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and kings your glory; and one shall call you by a new name, which the Lord shall name. ³ And you shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

¹⁸ "Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will announce justice to the Gentiles.

¹⁸ "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;

¹⁶ And out of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world so that He might condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

²⁶ For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

³⁷ Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. ³⁸ He that believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water." ³⁹ (But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

²⁶ I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these things I say to the world." ²⁷ They did not know that He was speaking to them about the Father. ²⁸ Therefore Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM, and from Myself I do nothing; but just as My Father taught Me, these things I speak.

⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has spoken to you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.

⁴⁷ He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear them, because you are not of God."

²⁶ "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me.

⁷ Nevertheless I speak the truth to you. It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

³⁸ Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.

² For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

⁸ To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

⁷ But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the free gift of Christ. ⁸ Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men." ⁹ But that "He ascended"--what it is but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that descended, He is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. ¹¹ And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, ¹² for the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all arrive to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

¹⁹ For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,

⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

⁶ And He said to me, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give from the spring of the water of life freely to him that is thirsty.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Stock of David, the Bright and Morning Star." ¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. The one who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
