¹⁴ And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers sitting there.

²³ And you shall eat it in the place which the Lord your God shall choose to have His name called there; you shall bring the tithe of your grain and of your wine, and of your oil, the firstborn of your herd and of your flock, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God at all times. ²⁴ And if the journey is too far for you, and you are not able to bring them, because the place is far from you which the Lord your God shall choose to have His name called there, because the Lord your God will bless you; ²⁵ then you shall sell them for money, and you shall take the money in your hands, and you shall go to the place which the Lord your God shall choose. ²⁶ And you shall give the money for whatsoever your soul shall desire, for oxen or for sheep, or for wine, or you shall lay it out on strong drink, or on whatsoever your soul may desire, and you shall eat there before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice and your house,

¹ Behold, I send forth My messenger, and he shall survey the way before Me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come into His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you take pleasure in: behold, He is coming, says the Lord Almighty. ² And who will abide the day of His coming? Or who will withstand at His appearing? For He is coming in as the fire of a furnace and as the herb of fullers. ³ He shall sit to melt and purify as it were silver, and as it were gold: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver, and they shall offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.

¹² Then Jesus went into the temple of God and He cast out all those buying and selling in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. ¹³ And He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.'"

¹⁵ And they came to Jerusalem. And when Jesus entered into the temple, He began to throw out those selling and buying in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those selling the doves.

¹⁷ And He was teaching, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves!' "

⁴⁵ And when He entered into the temple, He began to drive out those buying and selling in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, "It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.' "
