⁴ And when Jesus heard, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."

³⁹ And when He went in, He said to them, "Why are you making such commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but she is asleep." ⁴⁰ And they were ridiculing Him. But after He sent out all present, He took along the father and the mother of the child, and those with Him, and He went in where the child was lying. ⁴¹ And having grasped the hand of the child, He said to her, "Talitha, koumi," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." ⁴² And immediately the little girl arose and was walking about, for she was twelve years old. And they were overcome with great amazement.

¹¹ This beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

²³ so that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing. It is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say that He is our God.

³ Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but so that the works of God should be manifest in him.

²⁴ Therefore they called a second time the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give glory to God! We know that this Man is a sinner."

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?"

²⁸ Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."

³¹ When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in Him. ³² If God has been glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.

¹ Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the time has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,

⁵ And now, O Father, glorify Me alongside Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

¹⁰ And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I have been glorified in them.

¹¹ I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But by their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

¹¹ having been filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I will be ashamed, but with utmost boldness, as always, now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. ²¹ who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

¹¹ If anyone speaks, let him speak as the utterances of God. If anyone serves, let him serve as from strength, as God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁴ If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified.
