¹³ My brothers have stood far from me; they have recognized strangers rather than me: and my friends have become pitiless.

²¹ But you also have come to me without pity; so that beholding my wounds you are afraid. ²² What? Have I made any demand of you? Or do I ask for strength from you, ²³ to deliver me from enemies, or to rescue me from the hand of the mighty ones?

¹¹ I became a reproach among all my enemies, but exceedingly so to my neighbors, and a fear to my acquaintance; they that saw me outside fled from me.

¹¹ My friends and my neighbors drew near before me, and stood sill; and my nearest of kin stood afar off.

⁸ I became strange to my brethren, and a stranger to my mother's children.

²⁰ My soul has waited for reproach and misery; and I waited for one to grieve with me, but there was none; and for one to comfort me, but I found none.

⁸ You have removed my acquaintance far from me; they have made me an abomination to themselves; I have been delivered up, and have not gone forth.

¹⁸ You have put far from me every friend, and my acquaintances because of my wretchedness.

⁵⁶ But all this has happened so that the Scriptures of the prophets may be fulfilled." Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.
