¹⁰ And for all these things faithless Judah turned not to Me with all her heart, but falsely.

³³ And Josiah removed all the abominations out of the whole land which belonged to the children of Israel, and caused all that were found in Jerusalem and in Israel, to serve the Lord their God all his days. He departed not from following the Lord God of his fathers.

⁴⁴ at the hearing of the ear they obeyed me: the strange children lied to me.

³ Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

³⁶ Yet they loved Him only with their mouth, and lied to Him with their tongue. ³⁷ For their heart was not right with Him, neither were they steadfast in His covenant.

⁶ I will send My wrath against a sinful nation, and I will command My people to take plunder and spoil, and to trample the cities, and to make dust out of them.

² You have planted them, and they have taken root; they have begotten children, and become fruitful; You are near to their mouth, but far from their mind.

¹⁴ And their hearts did not cry to Me, but they howled on their beds: they pined for oil and wine.
