²⁶ and said, If you will indeed hear the voice of the Lord your God, and do the things pleasing before Him, and will heed His commands, and keep all His ordinances, no disease which I have brought upon the Egyptians will I bring upon you, for I am the Lord your God that heals you.

²¹ Take heed to yourself and hearken to Him, and disobey Him not; for He will not give way to you, for My name is in Him. ²² If you will indeed hear My voice, and if you will do all the things I shall charge you with, and keep My covenant, you shall be to Me a peculiar people above all nations. For the whole earth is Mine, and you shall be to Me a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. These words shall you speak to the children of Israel: If you shall indeed hear My voice, and do all the things I shall tell you, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

⁶ And you shall keep and do them: for this is your wisdom and understanding before all nations, as many as shall hear all these ordinances; and they shall say, Behold, this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

²⁹ O that there were such a heart in them, that they should fear Me, and keep My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their sons forever!

² That you may fear the Lord your God, and keep all His statutes, and His commandments, which I command you today, you, and your sons, and your sons' sons, all the days of your life, that you may live many days.

⁶ And you shall keep the commands of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to fear Him.

¹² And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, and to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul; ¹³ to keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His statutes, all that I command you this day, that it may be well with you?

²⁶ Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse: ²⁷ a blessing, if you hearken to the commands of the Lord your God, all that I command you this day; ²⁸ and a curse, if you do not hearken to the commands of the Lord our God, as many as I command you this day, and you wander from the way which I have commanded you, having gone to serve other gods, which you know not.

³² Every word that I command you this day, you shall observe to do: you shall not add to it, nor diminish from it.

¹ And it shall come to pass, if you will indeed hear the voice of the Lord your God, to observe and do all these commands which I charge you this day, that the Lord your God shall set you on high above all the nations of the earth; ² and all these blessings shall come upon you, and shall find you. If you will indeed hear the voice of the Lord your God, ³ blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. ⁴ Blessed shall be the offspring of your body, and the fruits of your land, and the herds of your oxen, and the flocks of your sheep. ⁵ Blessed shall be your barns, and your stores. ⁶ Blessed shall you be in your coming in, and blessed shall you be in your going out. ⁷ The Lord shall cause your enemies that withstand you to be utterly broken before your face — they shall come out against you one way, and they shall flee seven ways from before you. ⁸ The Lord shall send upon you His blessing in your barns, and on all on which you shall put your hand, in the land which the Lord your God gives you. ⁹ The Lord shall raise you up as a holy people unto Himself, as He swore to your fathers; if you will hear the voice of the Lord your God, and walk in all His ways. ¹⁰ And all the nations of the earth shall see you, that the name of the Lord is called upon you, and they shall stand in awe of you. ¹¹ And the Lord your God shall multiply you for good in the offspring of your body, and in the offspring of your livestock, and in the fruits of your land, on your land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to you. ¹² May the Lord open to you His good treasure from out of the heavens, to give rain to your land in season; may He bless all the works of your hands. So shall you lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you. ¹³ The Lord your God shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall then be above and you shall not be below, if you will hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, in all things that I command you this day to observe. ¹⁴ You shall not turn aside from any of the commandments, which I command you this day, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods, to serve them.

²⁰ to love the Lord your God, to hearken to His voice, and cleave to Him; for this is your life, and the length of your days, that you should dwell upon the land, which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give to them.

⁹ And now head their voice; only you shall solemnly testify to them, and you shall describe to them the manner of the king who shall reign over them.

¹⁵ And the Lord God of their fathers sent by the hand of His prophets; rising early and sending His messengers, for He had compassion on His people, and His sanctuary.

¹³ And now, because you have done all these deeds, and I spoke to you, but you hearkened not to Me; and I called you, but you answered not.

²³ but I commanded them this thing, saying, Hear My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all My ways which I shall command you, that it may be well with you. ²⁴ But they hearkened not to Me, and their ear gave no heed, but they walked in the imaginations of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. ²⁵ From the day that their fathers went forth out of the land of Egypt, even until this day, and I sent to you all My servants the prophets, by day and early in the morning. Yes, I have sent them,

⁴ which I commanded your fathers, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, Obey My voice, and do all things that I shall command you; so shall you be My people, and I will be your God,

⁴ and I sent to you My servants the prophets, sending them early; (but you would not listen, nor incline your ear to hear) saying,

¹⁵ And I sent to you My servants the prophets, saying, Turn, everyone from his evil way, and amend your practices, and do not go after other gods to serve them, and you shall dwell upon the land which I gave to you and to your fathers. But you have not inclined your ears, and you would not listen.

¹⁷ This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

¹² And to such people we command and urge by our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
