¹¹ so shall My word be, whatever shall proceed out of My mouth, it shall by no means return to Me void, until all the things which I willed have been accomplished; and I will make your ways prosperous, and will effect My commands.

² Let my speech be looked for as the rain, and my words come down as dew, as the shower upon the herbage, and as snow upon the grass.

²⁶ and confirming the word of His servant, and verifying the counsel of His messengers; who says to Jerusalem, You shall be inhabited; and to the cities of Edom, You shall be built, and her desert places shall spring forth. ²⁷ Who says to the deep, You shall be dried up, and I will dry up the rivers. ²⁸ Who bids Cyrus, Be wise, and he shall perform all My will; who says to Jerusalem, You shall be built, and I will lay the foundation of My holy house.

²³ By Myself I swear, righteousness shall surely proceed out of My mouth; My words shall not be frustrated; that to Me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear by God,

¹⁰ declaring beforehand the latter events before they come to pass, and they are accomplished together; and I said, all My counsel shall stand, and I will do all things that I have planned;

⁹ From the time of the water of Noah this is My purpose; as I swore to him at that time, saying of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,

³⁵ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall by no means pass away.

¹¹ "Now this is the parable: The seed is the word of God. ¹² And those beside the road are they that hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, lest they believe and be saved. ¹³ But those on the rock are they that, whenever they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of testing fall away. ¹⁴ And that which fell among thorns, these are those, who when they heard, go out and are choked with anxieties, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. ¹⁵ But that which fell on the good ground, these are such who when they heard the word, with a noble and good heart, hold on to it and bear fruit with endurance. ¹⁶ "No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.

⁶³ It is the Spirit who makes alive; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

¹⁷ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

¹⁸ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God gives the increase. ⁷ So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. ⁸ Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. ⁹ For we are coworkers with God; you are God's field, you are God's building.

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, ¹⁰ for an administration of the fullness of the times, He might bring together all things in Christ, those in heaven and those on the earth--In Him. ¹¹ In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

¹³ Because of this we also give thanks to God unceasingly, so that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received not the word of men, but just as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.

⁷ For the earth which drinks the rain often coming upon it, and bears suitable vegetation for those on account of whom it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God;

¹⁸ Exercising His will He begat us by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

²³ having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.
