⁵⁴ And both he and the men with him ate and drank and went to sleep. And he arose in the morning and said, Send me away, that I may go to my master.

⁵⁹ So they sent forth Rebecca their sister, and her goods, and the servant of Abraham, and his attendants.

⁵ So Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went into Mesopotamia, to Laban the son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebecca the mother of Jacob and Esau. ⁶ And Esau saw that Isaac blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Mesopotamia of Syria as he blessed him, to take to himself a wife from there, and that he charged him, saying, You shall not take a wife of the daughters of the Canaanites;

²⁴ And he sent away his brothers, and they went; and he said to them, Be not angry by the way.

¹⁹ And Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said, Let me run now and carry the good news to the king, for the Lord has delivered him from the hand of his enemies.

²⁷ And the watchman said, I see the running of the first as the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He is a good man, and will come to report good news. ²⁸ And Ahimaaz cried out and said to the king, Peace. And he bowed down to the king with his face to the ground, and said, Blessed be the Lord your God, who has delivered up the men that lifted up their hands against my lord the king.

²⁹ It is fit that an observant man and one diligent in his business should attend on kings, and not attend on slothful men.

¹⁰ Do not say, What has happened, that the former days were better than these? For you do not inquire wisely concerning this.

³⁸ Now the man from whom the demons had come out was begging Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, ³⁹ "Return to your house, and tell what great things God has done for you." And he departed, proclaiming throughout the whole city all the things that Jesus did for him.
