²⁸ And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, when I have been manifested to them among the nations.

³ then the Lord shall heal your iniquities, and shall pity you, and shall again gather you out from all the nations, among which the Lord has scattered you. ⁴ If your dispersion be from one end of heaven to the other, from there the Lord your God shall gather you, and from there the Lord your God shall take you.

⁸ Remember, I pray, the word in which You charged Your servant Moses, saying, If you break your covenant with Me, I will disperse you among the nations. ⁹ But if you turn again to Me, and keep My commandments, and do them; if you should be scattered to the uttermost parts of heaven, yet will I gather them from there, and I will bring them into the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name. ¹⁰ Now they are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your mighty hand.

¹² And it shall come to pass in that day that God shall fence men off from the channel of the river as far as the Brook of Egypt; but gather one by one the children of Israel.

³⁰ And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and they My people. O house of Israel, says the Lord God,

²² And the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from this day and forward.

²⁰ and I will betroth you to Myself in faithfulness: and you shall know the Lord.

⁹ For I will give commandment, and sift the house of Israel among all the Gentiles, as grain is sifted in a sieve, and yet a fragment shall by no means fall upon the earth.

⁶ But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all those of Israel are of Israel, ⁷ nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called." ⁸ That is, those who are the children of the flesh, are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

¹ I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. ² God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, ³ "LORD, they killed Your prophets and they torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life"? ⁴ But what does the divine response say to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." ⁵ Even so then, at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. ⁶ And if by grace, it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. ⁷ What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
