²⁷ And the Lord said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on these words I have established a covenant with you and with Israel.

¹⁴ And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and speak in the ears of Joshua; for I will utterly blot out the memorial of Amalek from under heaven.

⁴ And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and set up twelve stones for the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁷ And he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the ears of the people, and they said, All things whatsoever the Lord has said we will do and be obedient.

¹⁰ And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I establish a covenant with you in the presence of all your people. I will do glorious things which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation; and all the people among you shall see the works of the Lord, that they are wonderful, which I will do with you.

¹³ And He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to keep, even the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tables of stone.

⁹ And Moses wrote the words of this law in a book, and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to the elders of the sons of Israel.
