¹² And the Lord said to Moses, Come up to Me into the mountain, and be there; and I will give you the tablets of stone, the law and the commandments, which I have written to give them laws.

² And Moses alone shall draw near to God; and they shall not draw near, and the people shall not come up with them.

¹⁵ And Moses and Joshua went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

¹⁸ And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and went up to the mountain, and was there in the mountain forty days and forty nights.

¹⁸ And He gave to Moses when He left off speaking to him in Mount Sinai the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written with the finger of God.

¹⁵ And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hands, tablets of stone written on both their sides: they were written within and without. ¹⁶ And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God written on the tablets.

¹⁴ And the Lord commanded me at that time, to teach you statutes and judgments, that you should do them on the land, into which you go to inherit it.

²² These words the Lord spoke to all the assembly of you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire — there was darkness, blackness, a storm, and a loud voice — and He added no more, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone, and He gave them to me.

¹⁰ For Ezra had determined in his heart to seek the law, and to do and teach the ordinances and judgments in Israel.

¹³ Also You came down upon Mount Sinai, and You spoke to them out of heaven, and gave them right judgments, and laws of truth, ordinances, and good commandments.

³³ For this is My covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: after those days, says the Lord, I will surely put My laws into their mind, and write them on their hearts. And I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people.

¹⁹ Whoever therefore shall break one of the least of these commandments, and shall teach men thus, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

³ being made known that you are the letter of Christ, which was ministered by us, having been written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone but in tablets of flesh, namely in hearts.

⁷ Now if the ministry of death, having been engraved in letters on stones, came to be with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently into the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, the glory which was passing away,

⁴ having a golden altar, and the ark of the covenant having been overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were a golden jar having the manna, and the rod of Aaron which budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
