¹⁵ And you shall remember that you also were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you from there; therefore I charge you to do this thing.

² I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

¹⁴ but on the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God: you shall do in it no work, neither you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, your ox, your donkey, your livestock, nor the stranger that sojourns in the midst of you; that your male servant may rest, and your maid and your ox, as well as you. ¹⁵ And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand, and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day, and to sanctify it.

¹² And you shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and you shall observe and do these commands.

¹ Hearken to Me, you that follow after righteousness, and seek the Lord; look to the solid rock, which you have hewn, and to the hole of the pit which you have dug.

¹⁴ "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

³² Then summoning him, his master said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. ³³ Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, as I also had compassion on you?'

⁷ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

¹² that at that time you were apart from Christ, being estranged from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope and atheists in the world.

³² And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ forgave us.

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people as His own possession, zealous for good works.

¹⁶ By this we have come to know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives in behalf of our brothers.

⁹ By this the love of God is manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if in this way God loved us, indeed we ought to love one another.
