¹¹ And this shall be until the Chief Captain has delivered the captivity: and by reason of the horn the sacrifice was disturbed, and he prospered; and the holy place shall be made desolate.

³⁸ And these are the offerings which you shall offer upon the altar; two unblemished lambs of a year old daily on the altar continually, a constant offering. ³⁹ One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer in the evening. ⁴⁰ And a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of pressed oil, and a drink offering the fourth part of a hin of wine for one lamb. ⁴¹ And you shall offer the second lamb in the evening, after the manner of the morning offering, and according to the drink offering of the morning lamb; you shall offer it to the Lord for a sweet-smelling aroma, ⁴² a perpetual sacrifice throughout your generations, at the door of the tabernacle of witness before the Lord; wherein I will be known to you from there, so as to speak to you.

³ And you shall say to them, These are the burnt offerings, all that you shall bring to the Lord: two lambs of a year old without blemish daily, for a whole burnt offering, perpetually.

¹⁴ And He said to him, I have now come, the Commander of the army of the Lord. And Joshua fell on his face upon the earth, and said to Him, O Lord, what do You command Your servant? ¹⁵ And the Commander of the Lord's army said to Joshua, Loose your shoe from off your feet, for the place where you now stand is holy.

²² Whom have you reproached, and whom have you reviled? And against whom have you lifted up your voice, and raised your eyes on high? Is it not against the Holy One of Israel? ²³ By your messengers you have reproached the Lord, and have said, I will go up with the multitude of my chariots, to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and I have cut down the height of his cedar, and his choice cypresses; and I have come into the midst of the forest and of Carmel.

¹⁵ Now then, let not Hezekiah deceive you, and let him not make you thus confident, and believe him not, for no god of any kingdom or nation is at all able to deliver his people out of my hand, or the hand of my fathers; therefore your God shall not deliver you out of my hand. ¹⁶ And his servants continued to speak against the Lord God, and against His servant Hezekiah. ¹⁷ And he wrote a letter to reproach the Lord God of Israel, and spoke concerning Him, saying, As the gods of the nations of the earth have not delivered their people out of my hand, so the God of Hezekiah shall by no means deliver His people out of my hand. ¹⁸ And he cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language to the people of Jerusalem on the wall, calling them to assist them, and pull down the walls, that they might take the city. ¹⁹ And he spoke against the God of Jerusalem, even as against the gods of the nations of the earth, the works of the hands of men. ²⁰ And King Hezekiah and Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz prayed concerning these things, and they cried to heaven. ²¹ And the Lord sent an angel, and He destroyed every mighty man and warrior, and leader and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria; and he returned with shame of face to his own land and came into the house of his god. And some of his own offspring killed him with the sword. ²² So the Lord delivered Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem out of the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria, and out of the hand of all his enemies, and gave them rest round about.

²³ Whom have you reproached and provoked? And against whom have you lifted up your voice? And have you not lifted up your eyes on high against the Holy One of Israel?

²⁹ And your wrath in which you have been enraged, and your rage has come up before Me; therefore I will put a hook in your nose, and a bit in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way which you came.

²⁶ Make him drunk; for he has magnified himself against the Lord. And Moab shall clap with his hand, and shall be also himself a laughing stock.

⁴² And Moab shall perish from being a multitude, because he has magnified himself against the Lord.

¹⁴ And he shall prepare a freewill offering for it in the morning, the sixth part of a measure of flour, and a third part of a hin of oil to mix with the fine flour, as a freewill offering to the Lord, a perpetual ordinance.

²³ And you have exalted yourself against the Lord God of heaven; and they have brought before you the vessels of His house, and you, your nobles, your mistresses, and your concubines have drunk wine out of them; and you have praised the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, and which hear not, and know not: and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.

²⁵ And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change times and law. And power shall be given into his hand for a time, times and half a time.

¹² And a sin offering was given for the sacrifice, and righteousness was cast down to the ground; and he did all this, and prospered.

²⁵ And the yoke of his chain shall prosper: there is underhanded treachery in his hand, and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by deceit he shall destroy many, and shall stand up for the destruction of many, and shall crush them like eggs in his hand.

²⁶ And after the sixty-two weeks, the Anointed One shall be killed, and there is no judgment in Him. And He shall destroy the city and the sanctuary with the prince that is to come: they shall be cut off with a flood, and to the end of the war which is rapidly completed He shall appoint the city to desolations. ²⁷ And one week shall establish the covenant with many. And in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink offering shall be taken away: and on the temple shall be the abomination of desolations; and at the end of the time an end shall be put to the desolation.

³¹ And seeds shall spring up out of him, and they shall profane the sanctuary of strength, and they shall remove the perpetual sacrifice, and make the abomination of desolation.

³⁶ And he shall do according to his will, and the king shall exalt and magnify himself against every god, and shall speak great swelling words, and shall prosper until the indignation shall be accomplished; for it is coming to an end. ³⁷ And he shall not regard any gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, neither shall he regard any deity: for he shall magnify himself above all.

¹¹ And from the time of the removal of the perpetual sacrifice, when the abomination of desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

⁵ Then, as some spoke about the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, ⁶ These things which you see--the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down."

²⁴ And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

⁴ who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or every object of worship, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

¹⁰ For it was fitting for Him, on account of whom are all things and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the Author of their salvation through sufferings.

⁵ And a mouth was given to him speaking great things and blasphemy, and authority was given to him to make war for forty-two months. ⁶ Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His dwelling, and those who dwell in heaven. ⁷ And it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, and elect, and faithful."

¹³ And He is clothed in a robe having been dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies in heaven were following Him on white horses, having been dressed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, so that with it He might strike the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
