²⁵ of which I became a minister according to the stewardship of God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,

¹⁵ And I write more boldly to you brothers, in part, as reminding you, because of the grace having been given to me by God, ¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God as a priest, so that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Therefore I have something to boast of in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out through me, in word and deed, for the obedience of the Gentiles-- ¹⁹ in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I have been entrusted with a commission.

⁷ but on the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter with the gospel for the circumcised, ⁸ (for He who worked with Peter in the apostleship to the circumcised, worked also with me in that for the Gentiles),

² if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith, having been founded and firm and not drifting away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was proclaimed to all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

² and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, in order to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith,

⁶ Instructing the brothers in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, being nourished by the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

² preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching. ³ For there will be a time when they will not put up with sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up for themselves teachers, tickling their ears, ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to myths. ⁵ You however be watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
