¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, "Go your way, for he is a chosen vessel to Me to bear My name before Gentiles and kings, and the sons of Israel.

¹² And now go, and I will open your mouth, and will instruct you in what you shall say. ¹³ And Moses said, O Lord, I pray, appoint another able person whom You shall send. ¹⁴ And the Lord was greatly angered against Moses, and said, Lo! Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he will surely speak to you. And behold, he will come forth to meet you, and beholding you, he will rejoice within himself.

⁵ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and before you came forth from the womb, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.

⁷ And the Lord said to me, Say not, I am a child; for you shall go to all to whomsoever I shall send you, and according to all the words that I shall command you, you shall speak.

¹ And the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying, ² Rise, go to Nineveh, the great city, and preach in it according to the former preaching which I spoke to you of.

¹⁸ And you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the nations.

¹⁶ You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you may ask the Father in My name He may give to you.

² Now as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them."

¹⁹ And having greeted them, he reported one by one those things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.

²¹ "Then He said to me, 'Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.' "

²² Then Agrippa said to Festus, "I also was wishing to hear the man myself." "Tomorrow," he said, "you shall hear him."

¹⁷ delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' ¹⁹ "Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, ²⁰ but to those first in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, proclaiming that they must repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

³² Then Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been released if he had not appealed to Caesar."

²⁴ saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; for it is necessary for you to stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those sailing with you.'

¹⁷ And it came to pass after three days that Paul called together those who were prominent among the Jews; and when they had come together, he said to them: "Men, brothers, though I have done nothing against the people or the customs of our forefathers, yet I was handed over as a prisoner from Jerusalem, into the hands of the Romans,

⁵ through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name,

¹³ Now I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that often I planned to come to you (and I was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles. ¹⁴ I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise. ¹⁵ So, as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

²¹ Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and the other for dishonor? ²² But what if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make known His power, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath having been prepared for destruction, ²³ and so that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, ²⁴ even us whom He called, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles?

¹³ For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am indeed an apostle to the Gentiles, I glorify my ministry,

¹⁵ And I write more boldly to you brothers, in part, as reminding you, because of the grace having been given to me by God, ¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God as a priest, so that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ Therefore I have something to boast of in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ did not work out through me, in word and deed, for the obedience of the Gentiles-- ¹⁹ in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. ²⁰ And so eagerly striving to evangelize not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon the foundation of another, ²¹ but as it is written: "To whom He was not announced, they shall see; and those who have not heard shall understand."

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than them all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹ Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),

¹⁵ But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me, so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,

⁷ but on the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter with the gospel for the circumcised, ⁸ (for He who worked with Peter in the apostleship to the circumcised, worked also with me in that for the Gentiles), ⁹ and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace which was given to me, they gave me and Barnabas their right hands of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised;

⁷ of which I became a minister according to the free gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power. ⁸ To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

²⁵ of which I became a minister according to the stewardship of God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, ²⁶ the mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from generations, but now was revealed to His saints. ²⁷ To whom God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; ²⁸ whom we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus; ²⁹ for which I also labor, striving according to His working which is working in me with power.

⁷ for which I was appointed a herald and apostle--I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie--a teacher of Gentiles in faith and truth.

⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself in the affairs of civilian life, in order that he may please the one having enlisted him.

²⁰ Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. ²¹ Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, having been consecrated and useful to the Master, having been prepared for every good work.

¹⁶ At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be reckoned to them. ¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, and all the Gentiles might hear, and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, and elect, and faithful."
