2 Thessalonians 1:11 Cross References - CAB

¹¹ Therefore we also pray always concerning you that our God may count you worthy of this calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,

¹⁴ For this is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide forevermore.

¹⁸ Do good, O Lord, to Zion in Your good pleasure; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built.

²⁰ Our God is the God of salvation; and to the Lord belong the issues from death.

⁸ O Lord, You shall recompense them on my behalf: Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever: do not overlook the works of Your hands.

¹⁸ But the ways of the righteous shine like light; they go forth and shine, until the day has fully come.

⁹ And in that day they shall say, behold our God in whom we have trusted, and He shall save us; this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, and we have exalted, and will rejoice in our salvation.

⁷ let the ungodly leave his ways, and the transgressor his counsels; and let him return to the Lord, and he shall find mercy; for He shall abundantly pardon your sins.

⁹ But I have raised this expectation, yet you have not remembered Me, says the Lord; behold, have not I made the bearing and barren woman? Says your God.

¹⁷ For our God whom we serve is in the heavens, able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He shall rescue us from your hands, O king.

³ Let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find Him ready as the morning, and He will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth.

⁷ Who are you, O great mountain before Zerubbabel, that you should prosper? Whereas I will bring out the stone of the inheritance, its grace equal to My grace.

²⁸ For the earth produces fruit of itself: first a shoot, then a head of grain, then full wheat in the head of grain.

³² Do not fear, little flock, because your Father is well pleased to give to you the kingdom.

²⁷ Work not for the food which perishes, but for the food which abides unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give to you; for upon Him God the Father has set His seal." ²⁸ Then they said to Him, "What should we do, that we may work the works of God?" ²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

³⁰ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

²³ and so that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, ²⁴ even us whom He called, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles?

⁸ who will also confirm you until the end, that you may be unimpeachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

¹⁶ do not cease to give thanks concerning you, making mention of you in my prayers:

¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power ²⁰ which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

¹⁴ For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ from whom every family in heaven and upon earth takes its name, ¹⁶ that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man, ¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; being rooted and founded in love, ¹⁸ that you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height-- ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. ²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly more than all the things which we ask or think, according to the power which is working in us, ²¹ to Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

⁶ having been persuaded of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus;

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all perception, ¹⁰ that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, ¹¹ having been filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

¹³ for it is God who is working in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

¹⁴ I press toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

⁹ On account of this we also, since the day we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; ¹⁰ that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God; ¹¹ being strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and longsuffering with joy; ¹² giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. ¹³ He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

³ constantly remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,

¹² that you would make your walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. ¹³ Because of this we also give thanks to God unceasingly, so that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received not the word of men, but just as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.

⁹ For whatever thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we are rejoicing because of you in the presence of our God, ¹⁰ night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and to perfect what is lacking in your faith? ¹¹ Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, lead us directly to you. ¹² And may the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, as indeed we also do toward you, ¹³ so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

⁵ which is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you also suffer;

¹⁴ to which He called you through our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, ⁵ not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹ Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Jesus Christ,

² looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹⁰ But may the God of all grace, the One having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, and firmly ground you.

⁴ You have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.

¹⁰ and have made them kings and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth."
