¹³ And he brought forth from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and he cut up all the golden vessels which Solomon the king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, according to the word of the Lord.

⁴⁸ And King Solomon took the furniture which Hiram made for the house of the Lord, the golden altar, and the golden table of showbread. ⁴⁹ And he put the five lamptands on the left, and five on the right in front of the oracle, being of pure gold, and the lampstands, and the lamps, and the snuffers of gold. ⁵⁰ And there the porcheswere made, and the nails, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the golden censers, of pure gold: and the panels of the doors of the innermost part of the house, even the Holy of Holies, and the golden doors of the temple.

¹⁷ Behold, the days are coming that all things that are in your house shall be taken, and all that your fathers have treasured up to this day shall be carried to Babylon; and there shall not fail a word which the Lord has spoken.

¹³ And the Chaldeans broke to pieces the bronze pillars that were in the house of the Lord, and the bases, and the bronze sea that was in the house of the Lord, and carried its brass to Babylon. ¹⁴ And the caldrons, and the shovels, and the bowls, and the censers, and all the bronze vessels with which they ministered with, he took. ¹⁵ And the captain of the guard took the fire pans, and the gold and silver bowls.

⁷ And he made the ten golden lampstands according to their pattern, and he put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left. ⁸ And he made ten tables, and put them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left. And he made a hundred golden bowls. ⁹ Also he made the priests' court, and the great court, and doors to the court, and their panels were overlaid with bronze. ¹⁰ And he set the sea at the corner of the house on the right, as it were, facing the east. ¹¹ And Huram made the fleshhooks and the firepans, and the grate of the altar, and all its instruments. And Hiram finished doing all the work which he wrought for King Solomon in the house of God: ¹² two pillars, and upon them an embossed work for the chapiters on the heads of the two pillars, and two nets to cover the heads of the chapiters which are on the heads of the pillars; ¹³ and four hundred golden bells for the two nets, and two rows of pomegranates in each net, to cover the two embossed rims of the chapiters which are upon the pillars. ¹⁴ And he made the ten bases, and he made the lavers upon the bases; ¹⁵ and the one sea, and the twelve calves under it; ¹⁶ and the foot-baths, and the buckets, and the caldrons, and the fleshhooks, and all their furniture (which Hiram made, and brought to King Solomon in the house of the Lord) of pure bronze. ¹⁷ In the country round about the Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground in the house of Succoth, and between that and Zeredah. ¹⁸ So Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance, for the quantity of bronze failed not. ¹⁹ And Solomon made all the vessels of the house of the Lord, and the golden altar, and the tables, and upon them were to be the loaves of showbread; ²⁰ also the lampstands, and the lamps to give light according to the pattern, and in front of the oracle, of pure gold. ²¹ And their snuffers, and their lamps were made, and he made the bowls, and the censers, and the fire-pans, of pure gold. ²² And there was the inner door of the house opening into the Holy of Holies, and he made the inner doors of the temple of gold. So all the work which Solomon wrought for the house of the Lord was finished.

⁷ And King Cyrus brought out the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought from Jerusalem, and put in the house of his god. ⁸ And Cyrus king of the Persians brought them out by the hand of Mithradath the treasurer, and he numbered them to Sheshbazzar, the chief man of Judah. ⁹ And this is their number: thirty gold platters, and a thousand silver platters, twenty-nine knives, thirty golden goblets, ¹⁰ four hundred and ten double silver vessels, and a thousand other vessels. ¹¹ All the gold and silver vessels were five thousand four hundred, even all that went up with Sheshbazzar from the place of transportation, from Babylon to Jerusalem.

⁶ Behold, the days are coming when they shall take all the things that are in your house, and all that your fathers have gathered until this day, and they shall go to Babylon, and they shall not leave one thing. And God said,

⁵ And I will give all the strength of this city, and all the labors of it, and all the treasures of the king of Judah, into the hands of his enemies, and they shall bring them to Babylon.

¹⁶ I spoke to you, and to all this people, and to the priests, saying, Thus said the Lord: Do not listen to the words of the prophets that prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord's house shall return from Babylon — for they prophesy unrighteous words to you. ¹⁷ I sent them not. ¹⁸ If they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is in them, let them meet Me, for thus has the Lord said. ¹⁹ And as for the remaining vessels, ²⁰ which the king of Babylon did not take, when he carried Jeconiah prisoner out of Jerusalem, ²¹ (TEXT OMITTED)

³ Yet two full years, and I will return into this place the vessels of the house of the Lord, ⁴ with Jeconiah, and the captivity of Judah; For I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

⁶ and Jeremiah said, May the Lord indeed do thus; may He confirm your word which you prophesy, to return the vessels of the house of the Lord, and all the captivity, out of Babylon to this place.

² And Belshazzar, drinking, gave orders as he tasted the wine that they should bring the gold and silver vessels, which Nebuchadnezzar his father had brought forth from the temple in Jerusalem; that the king, and his nobles, and his mistresses, and his concubines, should drink out of them. ³ So the gold and silver vessels were brought which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple of God in Jerusalem; and the king, and his nobles, and his mistresses, and his concubines drank out of them.
