⁸ And Solomon kept the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entering in of Hamath, and as far as the river of Egypt.

¹⁸ In that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed I will give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates.

³⁴ Speak to the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, there shall be the Feast of Tabernacles seven days to the Lord. ³⁵ And on the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work. ³⁶ Seven days shall you offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord, and the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer whole burnt offerings to the Lord: it is a time of release, you shall do no customary work. ³⁷ These are the feasts to the Lord, which you shall call holy convocations, to offer burnt offerings to the Lord, whole burnt offerings and their grain offerings, and their drink offerings, that for each day on its day: ³⁸ besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides your freewill offerings, which you shall give to the Lord. ³⁹ And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month, when you shall have completely gathered in the fruits of the earth, you shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest, and on the eighth day a rest. ⁴⁰ And on the first day you shall take the good fruit of beautiful trees, and branches of palm trees, and thick boughs of trees, and willows, and branches of osiers from the brook, to rejoice before the Lord your God seven days in the year. ⁴¹ It is a perpetual statute for your generations: in the seventh month you shall keep it. ⁴² Seven days you shall dwell in tabernacles: every native in Israel shall dwell in tents, ⁴³ that your posterity may see, that I made the children of Israel to dwell in tents, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

¹² And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work, and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord for seven days. ¹³ And you shall bring near whole burnt offerings, a sacrifice for an aroma of sweet savor to the Lord, on the first day thirteen calves of the herd, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old; they shall be without blemish. ¹⁴ Their grain offerings shall be fine flour mingled with oil; there shall be three tenth deals for one calf, for the thirteen calves; and two tenth deals for one ram, for the two rams. ¹⁵ A tenth deal for every lamb, for the fourteen lambs. ¹⁶ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual whole burnt offering: there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ¹⁷ And on the second day twelve calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without blemish. ¹⁸ Their grain offering and their drink offering shall be for the calves and the rams and the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ¹⁹ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the perpetual whole burnt offering; their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ²⁰ On the third day eleven calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without blemish. ²¹ Their grain offering and their drink offering shall be to the calves and to the rams and to the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ²² And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual whole burnt offering; there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ²³ On the fourth day ten calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without spot. ²⁴ There shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings to the calves and the rams and the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ²⁵ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual whole burnt offering there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ²⁶ On the fifth day nine calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without spot. ²⁷ Their grain offerings and their drink offerings shall be to the calves and the rams and the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ²⁸ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the perpetual whole burnt offering; there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ²⁹ On the sixth day eight calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without blemish. ³⁰ There shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings to the calves and rams and lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ³¹ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the perpetual whole burnt offering; there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ³² On the seventh day seven calves, two rams, fourteen lambs of a year old without blemish. ³³ Their grain offerings and their drink offerings shall be to the calves and the rams and the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ³⁴ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual whole burnt offering; there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings. ³⁵ And on the eighth day there shall be to you a release: you shall do no customary work in it. ³⁶ And you shall offer whole burnt offerings as sacrifices to the Lord, one calf, one ram, seven lambs of a year old without spot. ³⁷ There shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings for the calf and the ram and the lambs according to their number, according to their ordinance. ³⁸ And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual whole burnt offering; there shall be their grain offerings and their drink offerings.

⁵ And the border shall compass from Azmon to the river of Egypt, and the sea shall be the boundary. ⁶ And you shall have your border on the west, the great sea shall be the boundary; this shall be to you the border on the west. ⁷ And this shall be your northern border; from the great sea you shall measure to yourselves, by the side of the mountain. ⁸ And you shall measure to yourselves the mountain from Mount Hor at the entering in to Hamath, and the termination of it shall be the coasts of Zedad.

¹³ You shall keep for yourself the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you gather in your produce from your threshing floor and your winepress. ¹⁴ And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow that is in your cities. ¹⁵ Seven days shall you keep a feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God shall choose for Himself; and if the Lord your God shall bless you in all your fruits, and in every work of your hands, then you shall rejoice.

³ from the wilderness before Egypt, as far as the borders of Ekron on the left of the Canaanites; the land is reckoned to the five principalities of the Philistines, to the inhabitants of Gaza, and of Azotus, and of Ashkelon, and of Gath, and of Ekron, and to the Hivite; ⁴ from Taman even to all the land of Canaan before Gaza, and the Sidonians as far as Aphek, as far as the borders of the Amorites. ⁵ And all the land of Gebalites of the Philistines, and all Lebanon eastward from Gilgal, under Mount Hermon as far as the entering in of Hamath;

²¹ (TEXT OMITTED) ²² And these were the requisite supplies for Solomon: in one day thirty measures of fine flour, and sixty measures of fine pounded meal, ²³ and ten choice calves, and twenty pastured oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides stags, and choice fatted does. ²⁴ For he had dominion on this side of the river, and he was at peace on all sides round about. ²⁵ (TEXT OMITTED)

⁶⁵ So Solomon kept the feast in that day, and all Israel with him, even a great assembly from the entering in of Hamath to the river of Egypt, before the Lord our God in the house which he built, eating and drinking, and rejoicing before the Lord our God for seven days.

¹³ And a great multitude were gathered to Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month, a very great congregation.

¹³ And on the second day the heads of families assembled with all the people, also the priests and Levites, to Ezra the scribe, to attend to all the words of the Law. ¹⁴ And they found written in the law which the Lord commanded Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths, in the feast in the seventh month, ¹⁵ and that they should sound with trumpets in all their cities, and in Jerusalem. And Ezra said, Go forth to the mountain, and bring olive branches, and branches of cypress trees, and branches of myrtle, and branches of palm trees, and branches of every thick tree, to make booths, according to that which was written. ¹⁶ And the people went forth, and brought them, and made booths for themselves, each one upon his roof, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the streets of the city, and as far as the gate of Ephraim. ¹⁷ And all the congregation who had returned from the captivity made booths, and dwelt in booths, for the children of Israel had not done so from the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that day. And there was great joy. ¹⁸ And Ezra read in the Book of the Law of God daily, from the first day even to the last day; and they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.

^{14 (6:15)} For behold, O house of Israel, I will raise up against you a nation, says the Lord of hosts, and they shall afflict you so that you shall not enter into Hamath, and as it were to the valley of the Arabah.

¹⁶ And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall be left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem, shall come up every year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁷ And it shall come to pass, that whichever of all the families of the earth shall not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, even these shall be added to the others. ¹⁸ And if the family of Egypt shall not go up, nor come; then upon them shall be the plague with which the Lord shall smite all the nations, whichever of them shall not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. ¹⁹ This shall be the sin of Egypt, and the sin of all the nations, those that shall not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

² Now the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near.

²⁷ However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from." ²⁸ Therefore Jesus cried out, as He was teaching in the temple, saying, "You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come on my own, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know. ²⁹ I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me." ³⁰ Therefore they were seeking to arrest Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come. ³¹ But many of the crowd believed in Him, and were saying, "When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man did?" ³² The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things about Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent attendants so that they might arrest Him. ³³ Then Jesus said, "Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go to Him who sent Me. ³⁴ You will seek Me and you will not find Me, and where I am you cannot come." ³⁵ Therefore the Jews said among themselves, "Where does this man intend to go that we will not find Him? Does He intend to go into the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? ³⁶ What is this thing which He said, 'You will seek Me and you will not find Me, and where I am you cannot come'?" ³⁷ Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. ³⁸ He that believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water." ³⁹ (But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
