^{23 (73:23)} Forget not the voice of thy suppliants: let the pride of them that hate thee continually ascend before thee.

¹ Wherefore did the heathen rage, and the nations imagine vain things? ² The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers gathered themselves together, against the Lord, and against his Christ;

¹¹ For he has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he has turned away his face so as never to look. ¹² Arise, O Lord God; let thy hand be lifted up: forget not the poor.
