⁴ so shalt thou find favour: and do thou provide things honest in the sight of the Lord, and of men.

² And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house with his lord the Egyptian. ³ And his master knew that the Lord was with him, and the Lord prospers in his hands whatsoever he happens to do. ⁴ And Joseph found grace in the presence of his lord, and was well-pleasing to him; and he set him over his house, and all that he had he gave into the hand of Joseph.

²¹ And the Lord was with Joseph, and poured down mercy upon him; and he gave him favour in the sight of the chief keeper of the prison.

⁷ Be strong, therefore, and quit thyself like a man, to observe and do as Moses my servant commanded thee; and thou shalt not turn therefrom to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest be wise in whatsoever thou mayest do. ⁸ And the book of this law shall not depart out of thy mouth, and thou shalt meditate in it day and night, that thou mayest know how to do all the things that are written in it; then shalt thou prosper, and make thy ways prosperous, and then shalt thou be wise.
