¹³ And these are the names of the sons of Ismael, according to the names of their generations. The firstborn of Ismael, Nabaioth, and Kedar, and Nabdeel, and Massam,

³ and Basemath, daughter of Ismael, sister of Nabaioth.

²⁹ And these are their generations: the first-born of Ismael, Nabaeoth, and Kedar, Nabdeel, Massam, ³⁰ Masma, Iduma, Masse, Chondan, Thaeman, ³¹ Jettur, Naphes, Kedma: these are the sons of Ismael.

⁵ I am black, but beautiful, ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

¹⁶ For thus said the Lord to me, Yet a year, as the year of an hireling, and the glory of the sons of Kedar shall fail: ¹⁷ and the remnant of the strong bows of the sons of Kedar shall be small: for the Lord God of Israel has spoken it.

¹¹ Rejoice, thou wilderness, and the villages thereof, the hamlets, and the dwellers in Kedar: the inhabitants of the rock shall rejoice, they shall shout from the top of the mountains.

⁷ And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nabaeoth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on my altar, and my house of prayer shall be glorified.
