³ Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right?

¹⁷ Could one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One, ¹⁸ who says to kings, ‘You are worthless!’ and to nobles, ‘You are wicked,’ ¹⁹ who is not partial to princes and does not favor rich over poor? For they are all the work of His hands.

⁸ He judges the world with justice; He governs the people with equity.

⁵ The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked; His soul hates the lover of violence. ⁶ On the wicked He will rain down fiery coals and sulfur; a scorching wind will be their portion. ⁷ For the LORD is righteous; He loves justice. The upright will see His face.

⁶ And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah
