²⁶ He who fears the LORD is secure in confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge.

⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them. ⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! ⁹ Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing. ¹⁰ Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. ¹¹ Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

¹ Hallelujah! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments.

⁶ Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous man will be remembered forever. ⁷ He does not fear bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. ⁸ His heart is assured; he does not fear, until he looks in triumph on his foes.

¹³ He will bless those who fear the LORD—small and great alike. ¹⁴ May the LORD give you increase, both you and your children.

⁷ Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. ⁸ This will bring healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.

²⁵ Do not fear sudden danger or the ruin that overtakes the wicked, ²⁶ for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from the snare.

¹⁰ The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

²³ The fear of the LORD leads to life, that one may rest content, without visitation from harm.

¹⁸ It is good to grasp the one and not let the other slip from your hand. For he who fears God will follow both warnings.

²⁰ Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you. ¹¹ The LORD said: “Surely I will deliver you for a good purpose; surely I will intercede with your enemy in your time of trouble, in your time of distress.

³⁹ I will give them one heart and one way, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and for the good of their children after them. ⁴⁰ I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put My fear in their hearts, so that they will never turn away from Me.

³¹ Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a time of peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.
