²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

²⁸ even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

⁴ Now to the one working, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt.

¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, for the promise to be sure to all the seed, not only to that of the Law, but also to that of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us of all—

⁹ Therefore much more, having been justified now by His blood, we will be saved by Him from wrath!

¹⁶ And the gift is not as through one having sinned. For truly the judgment from one was unto condemnation; but the gift is out of many trespasses unto justification. ¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, how much more will those receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ! ¹⁸ So then, just as through one trespass, it is unto condemnation to all men, so also through one act of righteousness it is unto justification of life to all men. ¹⁹ For as indeed through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One, the many will be made righteous.

³⁰ But out of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who has been made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

¹¹ And some of you were such. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One, ⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

⁷ in order that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For by grace you are saved through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, ⁹ not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. ¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

¹⁴ in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

⁶ the One having given Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony in their own proper times,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and might purify to Himself a people specially chosen, zealous of good works.

⁵ He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by that grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

² For a tabernacle was prepared, the first room in which were both the lampstand and the table, and the bread of the presentation, which is called the Holy Place. ³ Now behind the second veil was a tabernacle, being called the Holy of Holies, ⁴ having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant, having been covered around in every part with gold, in which was the golden pot having the manna, and the staff of Aaron having budded, and the tablets of the covenant. ⁵ And above it were the cherubim of glory, overshadowing the mercy seat; concerning which it is not now the time to speak in detail. ⁶ Now these things having been prepared thus, indeed the priests enter into the first tabernacle regularly, accomplishing the sacred services. ⁷ But only the high priest enters into the second, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the sins of ignorance of the people. ⁸ By this the Holy Spirit was signifying that the way into the holy places has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having a standing, ⁹ which is a symbol for the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, not being able to make perfect in regard to conscience of the one worshiping, ¹⁰ consisting only in foods and drinks and various washings—ordinances of the flesh being imposed until the time of reformation. ¹¹ But Christ, having appeared as high priest of the good things having come, by the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor by blood of goats and calves, but through the own blood, He entered once for all into the holy places, having obtained eternal redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of goats and of bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled sanctify them for the purification of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God! ¹⁵ And because of this, He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, those having been called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

¹⁸ knowing that you were redeemed from your futile manner of life handed down from your fathers, not by perishable things—by silver or by gold— ¹⁹ but by the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and You purchased to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

¹⁴ And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
