¹ Brothers, indeed the desire and supplication of my heart to God on behalf of them is for salvation. ² For I bear witness about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God and seeking to establish the own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God. ⁴ For the end of Law is Christ, unto righteousness to everyone believing. ⁵ For Moses writes of the righteousness that is of the Law that “The man having done these things will live by them.” ⁶ But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: “You should not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring down Christ) ⁷ or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring up Christ out from the dead).” ⁸ But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart.” That is, the word of faith which we proclaim, ⁹ that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him out from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For in the heart is belief unto righteousness, and in the mouth is confession unto salvation. ¹¹ For the Scripture says, “Everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame.” ¹² For there is no difference between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich toward all those calling Him, ¹³ for, “Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” ¹⁴ How then shall they call on Him whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe on Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear apart from preaching? ¹⁵ And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it has been written: “How beautiful are the feet of those proclaiming good news of good things!” ¹⁶ But not all heeded the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” ¹⁷ So faith is from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. ¹⁸ But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” ¹⁹ But I ask, did Israel not know? First, Moses says: “I will provoke you to jealousy by those not a nation; I will anger you by a nation without understanding.” ²⁰ And Isaiah is very bold and says: “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me.” ²¹ But as for Israel he says: “All the day I have stretched out My hands to a disobeying and contradicting people.”

³⁴ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets, and stoning those having been sent to her, how often I have wanted to gather your children, the way that a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you were not willing.

³⁴ And I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved.

¹ I speak the truth in Christ. I am not lying. My conscience testifies for me in the Holy Spirit ² that my grief is great, and unceasing sorrow is in my heart. ³ For I could wish myself to be a curse, separated from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh,

²⁰ And to the Jews I became like a Jew, so that I might win the Jews. To those under the Law, as under the Law (myself not being under the Law) so that I might win those under the Law. ²¹ To those outside the Law, as outside the Law (not being outside the law of God, but under the law of Christ) so that I might win those outside the Law. ²² To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all these things to all, so that by all means I might save some.

² They will put you out of the synagogues; but an hour is coming that everyone having killed you will think it is to offer a service to God.

²⁰ And those having heard began glorifying God, and they said to him, “You see, brother, how many myriads there are among the Jews having believed, and are all zealous ones for the Law.

²⁸ crying out, “Men, Israelites, help! This is the man teaching all those everywhere against the people and the Law and this place. And besides, he has also brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”

³ “I am a Jew, a man born in Tarsus of Cilicia and brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, having been instructed according to the exactness of the Law of our Fathers, being a zealous one of God, even as you all are this day,

²² Now they were listening to him until this word. Then they lifted up their voice, saying, “Away with such from the earth. For he is not fit to live!”

⁹ Therefore I indeed in myself thought I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth, ¹⁰ which also I did in Jerusalem. And I also locked up many of the saints in prisons, having received the authority from the chief priests; and they being put to death, I cast against them a vote.

³¹ but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not attain to that law. ³² Why? Because it was not by faith, but as by works. They stumbled over the stone of stumbling,

³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God and seeking to establish the own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so as for not to beam forth the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

⁶ For it is God, having said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” who shone in our hearts for the radiance of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

³ For I testify that according to their ability and beyond their ability, they were willing of themselves,

¹⁴ And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many contemporaries among my people, being more abundantly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

¹⁵ What has become then of your blessedness? For I bear witness to you that, if possible, having gouged out your eyes, you would have given them to me.

¹⁷ They zealously seek you, not rightly. But they desire to isolate you from us, so that you might be zealous after them. ¹⁸ Now it is good to be zealous in a right thing, at all times and not only in my being present with you.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in the Law, having become faultless.

¹³ For I bear witness to him that he has great concern for you and those in Laodicea and those in Hierapolis.

²⁹ But desiring to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

¹⁷ But having come to himself, he was saying, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have abundance of bread, but here I am perishing with hunger? ¹⁸ Having risen up, I will go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; ¹⁹ no longer am I worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your servants.”’ ²⁰ And having risen up, he went to his father. And he still being far distant, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and having run, fell upon his neck and kissed him. ²¹ And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; no longer am I worthy to be called your son.’

¹⁵ And He said to them, “You are those justifying themselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.

⁹ And He also spoke this parable to some trusting in themselves that they are righteous, and despising others: ¹⁰ “Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector. ¹¹ The Pharisee having stood, was praying toward himself thus: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of the men—swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. ¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I gain.’

⁹ concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me; ¹⁰ and concerning righteousness, because I go away to the Father and you behold Me no more;

¹⁷ For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it has been written: “And the righteous will live by faith.”

²² And the righteousness of God is through faith from Jesus Christ toward all those believing. For there is no distinction,

²⁶ in the forbearance of God, for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for Him to be just, and justifying the one of the faith of Jesus.

¹⁹ For as indeed through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One, the many will be made righteous.

³⁰ What then will we say? That Gentiles, not pursuing righteousness, have attained righteousness, and righteousness that is by faith;

²¹ He made the One not having known sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

³ Now again I testify to every man receiving circumcision that he is a debtor to keep the whole Law. ⁴ Whoever are being justified in the Law, you are severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

⁹ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is of the Law, but that which is through faith from Christ, the righteousness of God on the basis of faith,

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those having obtained a faith equally precious with ours, through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

¹⁷ For you say, ‘I am rich, and I have grown rich, and I have need of nothing.’ And you do not realize that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. ¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may be clothed and the shame your of nakedness might not be made manifest, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.

¹⁵ But Jesus answering, said unto him, “Permit it presently; for thus it is fitting to us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he permits Him.

¹⁷ Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill. ¹⁸ For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth shall pass away, not even one iota, nor one stroke of a letter, shall pass away from the law, until everything should happen.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

³⁸ Therefore be it known to you, men, brothers, that through this One, forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. ³⁹ And in Him everyone believing is justified from all things from which you were not able to be justified in the Law of Moses.

²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness, because of the forbearance of the sins having taken place beforehand, ²⁶ in the forbearance of God, for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for Him to be just, and justifying the one of the faith of Jesus. ²⁷ Where then is boasting? It has been excluded. Through what principle? That of works? No, but through the principle of faith. ²⁸ Therefore we reckon a man to be justified by faith apart from works of the Law. ²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only, not also of Gentiles? Yes, also of Gentiles, ³⁰ since indeed God is the One who will justify the circumcision by faith and the uncircumcision through the same faith. ³¹ Do we, then, nullify the Law through faith? Never may it be! Instead, we uphold Law.

¹ Or are you ignorant brothers (for I speak to those knowing the law), that the law rules over the man for as long as the time he is alive? ² For the married woman is bound by law to the living husband; but if the husband should die, she is cleared from the law of the husband. ³ So then, if she is to another man, the husband being alive, she will be called an adulteress; but if the husband should die, she is free from the law, so as for her not to be an adulteress, having been to another man. ⁴ Likewise, my brothers, you also have been put to death to the Law through the body of Christ, for you to belong to another, to the One having been raised out from the dead, so that we should bear fruit to God.

³ For of the Law being powerless in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent His Son in likeness of sin of flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, ⁴ so that the righteousness of the Law should be fulfilled in us not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

³⁰ But out of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who has been made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

²⁴ so that the Law has become our trainer unto Christ, so that we might be justified by faith.

¹⁰ And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority,

¹⁷ which are a shadow the things coming. But the body is of Christ.

⁷ But only the high priest enters into the second, once in the year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and the sins of ignorance of the people. ⁸ By this the Holy Spirit was signifying that the way into the holy places has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having a standing, ⁹ which is a symbol for the present time, in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, not being able to make perfect in regard to conscience of the one worshiping, ¹⁰ consisting only in foods and drinks and various washings—ordinances of the flesh being imposed until the time of reformation. ¹¹ But Christ, having appeared as high priest of the good things having come, by the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not of this creation, ¹² nor by blood of goats and calves, but through the own blood, He entered once for all into the holy places, having obtained eternal redemption. ¹³ For if the blood of goats and of bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those having been defiled sanctify them for the purification of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God!

⁸ Saying above, “Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offerings for sin, You have not desired, nor have You delighted in” (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first that He might establish the second. ¹⁰ By that will, we are having been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands every day, ministering and offering the same sacrifices repeatedly, which never are able to take away sins. ¹² But this One, having offered one sacrifice for sins in perpetuity, sat down at the right hand of God,

¹⁴ For by one offering, He has perfected for all time those being sanctified.

²⁷ And answering, he said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind’ and ‘Your neighbor as yourself.’” ²⁸ And He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.”

¹⁰ and this commandment that was unto life proved to be death to me.

¹² But the Law is not of faith. Rather, “The one having done these things will live by them.”

¹² If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? ¹³ And no one has gone up into heaven except the One having come down out of heaven, the Son of Man.

³³ For the bread of God is the One coming out of heaven and giving life to the world.”

³⁸ For I have come down from heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of the One having sent Me.

⁵⁰ This is the bread coming down from heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die. ⁵¹ I am the living bread, having come down from heaven. If anyone shall have eaten of this bread, he will live to the age. And also, the bread that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”

⁵⁸ This is the bread having come down from heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. The one eating this bread will live to the age.”

²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness, because of the forbearance of the sins having taken place beforehand,

¹³ For the promise was to Abraham or his descendants that he should be heir of the world, not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

³⁰ What then will we say? That Gentiles, not pursuing righteousness, have attained righteousness, and righteousness that is by faith; ³¹ but Israel, pursuing a law of righteousness, did not attain to that law.

⁸ Therefore it says: “Having ascended on high, He led captive captivity, and gave gifts to men.” ⁹ Now what is “He ascended,” except that He also descended into the lower regions of the earth? ¹⁰ The One having descended is also the same one having ascended above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.

³ who, being the radiance of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the power of His word, through having made the purification of sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

⁷ By faith Noah, having been divinely instructed concerning the things not yet seen, having been moved with fear, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.

²⁵ who was delivered over for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

²⁰ Now may the God of peace, having brought out from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, by the blood of the eternal covenant,

¹⁸ because Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, so that He might bring you to God, having been put to death indeed in the flesh, but having been made alive in the spirit,

²² who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him.

¹⁸ and the Living One. And I was dead, and behold I am living to the ages of the ages, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

¹⁵ And He said to them, “Having gone into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation. ¹⁶ The one having believed and having been baptized will be saved, but the one having disbelieved will be condemned.

⁴³ To Him all the prophets bear witness that everyone believing in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”

³¹ And they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone believing—both to Jewish first, and to Greek. ¹⁷ For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it has been written: “And the righteous will live by faith.”

¹⁷ So faith is from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

² I wish only to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law or by hearing of faith?

⁵ Therefore, the One supplying to you the Spirit and working miracles among you, is it out of works of the Law, or out of hearing of faith?

⁶ Laying before the brothers these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good teaching that you have closely followed.

²³ having been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, by the living and abiding word of God,

²⁵ but the word of the Lord abides to the age.” And this is the word having been proclaimed to you.

³² Therefore everyone who will confess in Me before men, I also will confess in him before My Father in the heavens. ³³ And whoever shall deny Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father in the heavens.

⁸ And I say to you, everyone who will confess in Me before men, the Son of Man also will confess in him before the angels of God.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Holy One of God.” ⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the Twelve? And one of you is a devil!” ⁷¹ Now He was speaking of Judas son of Simon Iscariot; for he, one of the Twelve, was about to betray Him.

²² His parents said these things because they were afraid of the Jews. For the Jews already had agreed together that if anyone should confess Him Christ, he would be expelled from the synagogue.

⁴² Nevertheless, indeed many even of the rulers believed in Him, but on account of the Pharisees they were not confessing, so that they might not be put out of the synagogue. ⁴³ For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

²⁶ And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them, the doors having been shut. Jesus comes, and He stood in the midst and said, “Peace to you.” ²⁷ Then He says to Thomas, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands; and bring your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.” ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” ²⁹ Jesus says to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those not having seen, yet having believed.”

²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the agony of death, inasmuch as it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

³⁶ And as they were going along the road they came upon some water, and the eunuch says, “Behold, water! What prevents me to be baptized?”

³⁴ Who is the one condemning? For it is Christ Jesus, the one having died, now rather having been raised up, who is also at the right hand of God, and who is interceding for us.

¹¹ For it has been written: “I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to God.”

³ Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking in the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is accursed,” and no one is able to say, “Jesus is Lord,” if not in the Holy Spirit.

¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, then also our preaching is void, and your faith is void. ¹⁵ Then also we are found false witnesses of God, because we have witnessed concerning God that He raised up Christ, whom He has not raised if then the dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised. ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ Also then those having fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

¹¹ and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

²¹ who by Him believe in God, the one having raised Him up out from the dead and having given Him glory, so as for your faith and hope to be in God.

² By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ having come in the flesh is of God, ³ and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not of God, and this is that of the antichrist, which you heard that is coming, and now is already in the world.

⁷ For many deceivers have entered into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

¹⁵ And that in the good soil, these are those who, having heard the word, keep it in a worthy and good heart and bring forth fruit by perseverance.

¹² But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to be children of God—to those believing in His name, ¹³ who were born not of blood, nor of will of flesh, nor of will of man, but of God.

¹⁹ And this is the judgement, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, so that his works may not be exposed; ²¹ but the one practicing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be manifest as having been done in God.”

⁹ that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him out from the dead, you will be saved.

¹⁶ nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, except through faith from Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith from Christ, and not by works of the Law, because by works of the Law not any flesh will be justified.

¹² Take heed, brothers, lest ever there will be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, into falling away from the living God.

²² we should draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with pure water.

¹⁵ Whoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

¹³ I know where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is; and you hold fast to My name, and you have not denied My faith, even in the days of Antipas My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

³³ as it has been written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and the one believing on Him will never be put to shame.”

⁶ Therefore it is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen precious cornerstone; and the one believing on Him, shall not be put to shame.”

¹⁴ And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all those calling on Your name.”

³⁴ And Peter, having opened the mouth, said, “Of a truth I understand that God is not One who shows partiality, ³⁵ but in every nation, the one fearing Him and working righteousness is acceptable to Him, ³⁶ the word that He sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the gospel, peace by Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all.

⁸ And the heart-knowing God bore witness to them, having given them the Holy Spirit, as also to us. ⁹ And He made no distinction between both us and them, having purified their hearts by the faith.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

²⁹ Or is He the God of Jews only, not also of Gentiles? Yes, also of Gentiles, ³⁰ since indeed God is the One who will justify the circumcision by faith and the uncircumcision through the same faith.

¹¹ And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith that he had while in the uncircumcision, for him to be father of all those believing while in uncircumcision, for the righteousness to be credited also to them, ¹² and the father of circumcision to those not only of circumcision, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.

²³ that He might also make known the riches of His glory upon the vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, ²⁴ even us, whom He has called not only out from the Jews, but also out from the Gentiles?

⁹ For unto this, Christ died and lived again that He might rule over both the dead and living.

¹² And again, Isaiah says: “There will be the root of Jesse, and the One arising to rule over the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will hope.”

² To the church of God being in Corinth, having been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called holy, together with all those in every place calling on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both theirs and ours:

⁴⁷ The first man was made of dust from the earth, the second man from heaven.

⁹ For you know the grace our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich, for the sake of you He became poor, so that you through His poverty might be enriched.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

⁴ But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

⁷ in order that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

¹⁸ For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. ¹⁹ So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but are fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God, ²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is increasing into a holy temple in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

⁶ that the Gentiles are joint-heirs, and a joint-body, and joint-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the gospel,

⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ

¹⁶ that He might give you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man,

¹⁹ And my God will fill up all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

²⁷ to whom God has willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

² that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, which is Christ, ³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.

¹¹ where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, and free; but Christ is all and in all.

⁵ For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”

¹⁶ And He has a name having been written upon the robe and upon His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

²¹ And it shall be that everyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.’

⁴⁶ And He said to them, “Thus it has been written: The Christ was to suffer and to rise out from the dead on the third day, ⁴⁷ and repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, having begun from Jerusalem.

³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in His name.

³¹ And he said, “How indeed could I be able, unless someone will guide me?” And he invited Philip, having come up, to sit with him.

² he also said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit, having believed?” And they said to him, “But not even did we hear that there is a Holy Spirit.”

¹⁷ delivering you out from the people and from the Gentiles to whom I am sending you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those having been sanctified by faith in Me.’

⁵ through whom we have received grace and apostleship unto obedience of faith among all the Gentiles on behalf of His name,

²⁵ Now to Him being able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept secret in times of the ages, ²⁶ but now having been made manifest also through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the Eternal God, having been made known to all the Gentiles unto the obedience of faith—

²¹ if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him just as the truth is in Jesus.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation would be fully accomplished, and all the Gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

³ and in His own seasons revealed in His word, in the proclamation with which I have been entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior.

⁶ And without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For it behooves the one drawing near to God to believe that He exists and that He becomes a rewarder to those earnestly seeking Him out.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will save the one ailing, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he might be one having committed sins, it will be forgiven him.

³⁸ Beseech the Lord of the harvest, therefore, that He might send out workmen into His harvest.”

¹⁸ And having come to them, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on the earth has been given to Me. ¹⁹ Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.”

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring good news to you of great joy, which will be to all the people.

¹⁴ “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!”

¹ And it came to pass soon afterward that He was traveling throughout city and village, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with Him,

¹ Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy-two others and sent them in two by two before His face, into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

²¹ Therefore Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me forth, I also send you.”

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is My vessel of choice to carry My name before the Gentiles, and also kings, and the sons of Israel.

³⁶ the word that He sent to the sons of Israel, proclaiming the gospel, peace by Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all.

² Now as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart then to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” ³ Then having fasted and having prayed and having laid the hands on them, they sent them off. ⁴ Therefore indeed having been sent forth by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and they sailed from there to Cyprus.

²⁶ Men, brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you fearing God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.

²¹ And He said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

²⁸ And some indeed God has appointed in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, various kinds of tongues. ²⁹ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?

¹⁸ Now all things are of God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ how that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation. ²⁰ Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is beseeching through us. We implore on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.

¹⁷ And having come, He proclaimed the gospel: peace to you, the ones far off, and peace to those near.

¹¹ And He gave some indeed to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, ¹² toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

¹⁵ and having shod the feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace;

¹² to whom it was revealed that they were serving not themselves, but you, in those things which now have been proclaimed to you by those having proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit having been sent from heaven, into which angels desire to look.

²⁶ But you do not believe, because you are not from among My sheep.

³⁸ so that word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, that said: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?” ³⁹ Because of this, they were not able to believe, for again Isaiah said: ⁴⁰ “He has blinded their eyes, and has hardened their heart, that they should not see with the eyes, and understand with the heart, and turn, and I will heal them.”

²⁴ And indeed, some were persuaded of the things he is speaking, but some refused to believe.

⁸ but to those of self-interest and disobeying the truth, but being persuaded about unrighteousness, wrath and anger;

³ What if indeed some disbelieved? Will their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

¹⁷ But thanks be to God that you who were slaves of sin have now become obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching to which you were committed.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and have become a fellow-partaker of the fatness of the root of the olive tree,

²⁶ but now having been made manifest also through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the Eternal God, having been made known to all the Gentiles unto the obedience of faith—

¹ O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as having been crucified?

⁷ You were running well. Who hindered you, not to obey the truth?

⁸ in a fire of flame, inflicting vengeance on those not knowing God and on those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus,

² And indeed we are those having had the gospel preached just as they did; but the message of their hearing did not profit them, not having been united with the faith of those having heard.

⁹ and having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all those obeying Him,

⁸ By faith Abraham, being called to go out into a place that he was going to receive for an inheritance, obeyed and went out, not knowing where he is going.

²² Having purified your souls in obedience to the truth unto sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently, out of a pure heart,

⁸ and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble at being disobedient to the word, to which also they were appointed.

¹ Likewise wives, be subject to the own husbands so that, even if any are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without word by the conduct of the wives,

²⁴ And He was saying to them, “Take heed what you hear. With what measure you measure it will be measured to you, and more will be added to you.

¹¹ And the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

²¹ But answering, He said to them, “My mother and my brothers are those who are hearing and doing the word of God.”

²⁸ And He said, “No rather, blessed are those hearing the word of God and keeping it.”

²⁹ But Abraham says, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ ³⁰ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if one from the dead should go to them, they will repent.’ ³¹ But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, not even will they be persuaded if one should rise out from the dead.’”

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone believing—both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

¹⁴ How then shall they call on Him whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe on Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear apart from preaching?

¹⁸ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those indeed perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God. ¹⁹ For it has been written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; and the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” ²⁰ Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? ²¹ For since in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those believing. ²² Forasmuch as both Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek wisdom, ²³ we, however, preach Christ having been crucified, a stumbling block indeed to the Jewish and foolishness to Gentiles, ²⁴ but those called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

¹⁷ For we are not like the many, peddling the word of God, but as of sincerity, but as of God, we speak before God in Christ.

⁴ having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have toward all the saints, ⁵ because of the hope being laid up for you in the heavens, which you heard of before in the word of truth, the gospel, ⁶ the one being present unto you, just as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and increasing, just as also among you from the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing each other in all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with grace in your hearts to God.

¹³ And because of this, we also give thanks to God unceasingly that, having received the word of God by your hearing from us, you accepted not the word of men, but even as truly it is, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

¹³ But we ought to give thanks to God always concerning you, brothers beloved by the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning unto salvation in the sanctification of the Spirit, and by faith of the truth; ¹⁴ to this also He called you through our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹² For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even as far as the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrows, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. ¹³ And there is no creature hidden before Him, but all things are uncovered and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom is our reckoning.

¹⁸ Having willed it, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. ¹⁹ Know this, my beloved brothers. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow unto anger; ²⁰ for man’s anger does not produce the righteousness of God. ²¹ Therefore, having put aside all filthiness and abounding of wickedness, receive in humility the implanted word, being able to save your souls.

²³ having been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, by the living and abiding word of God,

⁹ I John, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance in Jesus, was in the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

⁸ Again the devil takes Him to a mountain exceedingly high and shows to Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole earth, for a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.

¹³ Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel shall be proclaimed in the whole world, that which this woman did also will be spoken of, for a memorial of her.”

¹⁹ Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁵ And He said to them, “Having gone into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.

²⁰ And having gone forth, they preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the accompanying signs.

⁵ Now there were Jews dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven. ⁶ Now of this sound having come about, the multitude came together and was confounded, because each one was hearing them speaking the own language. ⁷ And they were amazed and were marveling, saying, “Behold, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? ⁸ And how do we each hear our own language in which we were born? ⁹ Parthians and Medes and Elamites; and those inhabiting Mesopotamia, also Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, ¹⁰ both Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene; and those visiting from Rome, ¹¹ both Jews and converts; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great things of God!”

²⁰ but both first to those in Damascus and Jerusalem, and all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, I kept declaring to repent and to turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

²³ Then having appointed him a day, many came to him to the lodging, to whom he expounded from morning to evening, fully testifying to the kingdom of God and persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.

⁸ First indeed, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being proclaimed in all the world.

¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God, so as for me, from Jerusalem and around unto Illyricum, to have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ,

⁶ the one being present unto you, just as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and increasing, just as also among you from the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul have become a minister.

⁸ For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and in Achaia, but in every place your faith toward God has gone abroad, so as for us to have no need to say anything.

²¹ For having known God, they glorified Him not as God, or were thankful; but they became futile in their thinking and their foolish heart was darkened. ²² Professing to be wise, they became fools,

¹⁸ But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”

¹¹ I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? Never may it be! But in their trespass is salvation to the Gentiles, so as to provoke them to jealousy.

¹⁴ if at all I shall provoke to jealousy my own flesh, and shall save some of them.

¹² Now I mean this, that each of you says, “I indeed am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.”

²⁹ Now I say this, brothers: The season is shortened; that from now on both those having wives, should be as having none;

¹⁹ Then what do I mean? That what is sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything?

²² What! Have you no houses in which to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the church of God and put to shame those having nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you!

² You know that when you were pagans, to mute idols you were led, as being carried away.

⁵⁰ Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor does decay inherit immortality.

³ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

¹⁰ who once were not a people, but now are the people of God; those not having received mercy, but now having received mercy.

¹⁶ Thus the last will be first, and the first, last.”

⁹ Therefore go into the thoroughfares of the highways, and invite to the wedding feast as many as you shall find.’ ¹⁰ And those servants, having gone out into the highways, brought together all, as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall became full of those reclining.

²³ And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.

³⁰ What then will we say? That Gentiles, not pursuing righteousness, have attained righteousness, and righteousness that is by faith;

¹⁹ and also for me, that in the opening of my mouth, divine utterance may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold, as it behooves me to speak.

¹⁹ We love because He first loved us.

¹ For the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a master of a house, who went out in the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard. ² And having agreed with the workmen on a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard. ³ And having gone out about the third hour, he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, ⁴ and to them he said, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and I will give you whatever might be right.’ ⁵ And they went. And having gone out again about the sixth and ninth hour, he did likewise. ⁶ And about the eleventh having gone out, he found others standing, and says to them, ‘Why do you stand here all the day idle?’ ⁷ They say to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He says to them, ‘You go also into the vineyard.’ ⁸ And evening having arrived, the master of the vineyard says to his foreman, ‘Call the workmen and pay them the wages, having begun from the last, up to the first.’ ⁹ And those hired about the eleventh hour having come, they received a denarius each. ¹⁰ And the first having come, they thought that they will receive more, but they themselves also received a denarius each. ¹¹ And having received it, they were grumbling against the master of the house, ¹² saying, ‘These the last have worked one hour, and you have made them equal to us, the ones having borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ ¹³ And answering one of them, he said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? ¹⁴ Take what is yours and go; and I desire to give to this last, as to you also. ¹⁵ Or is it not lawful for me to do what I will with that which is mine? Or is your eye envious because I am generous?’

³³ Hear another parable: There was a man, a master of a house, who planted a vineyard, and placed around it a fence, and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower; and he rented it out to farmers and traveled abroad. ³⁴ And when the season of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants to the farmers, to receive his fruits. ³⁵ And the farmers having taken his servants, one they beat, and one they killed, and one they stoned. ³⁶ Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. ³⁷ And afterward he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ ³⁸ But the farmers having seen the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and gain possession of his inheritance.’ ³⁹ And having taking him, they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. ⁴⁰ Therefore when the master of the vineyard shall come, what will he do to those farmers?” ⁴¹ They say to him, “He will destroy them, the wretches, grievously, and he will rent out the vineyard to other farmers who will give to him the fruits in their seasons.” ⁴² Jesus says to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone that those building rejected, this has become the chief corner. This was from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? ⁴³ Because of this I say to you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a people producing its fruits.

³ And he sent his servants to call those having been invited to the wedding feast—and they were not willing to come. ⁴ Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Say to those having been invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and the fatlings have been killed, and all things are ready; come to the wedding feast.”’ ⁵ And having paid no attention they went away, one to the own field, and one to his business. ⁶ And the rest, having laid hold of his servants, mistreated and killed them. ⁷ And the king was angry, and having sent his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

³⁴ Because of this, behold, I send to you prophets and wise men and scribes. Some of them you will kill and will crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, and will persecute from town to town; ³⁵ so that upon you shall come all the righteous blood being poured out upon the earth, from the blood of the righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. ³⁶ Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. ³⁷ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those having been sent to her! How often would I have gathered together your children, the way in which a hen gathers together her chicks under the wings, and you were not willing!

⁴⁷ and repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, having begun from Jerusalem.

⁵¹ You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, also do you. ⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those having foretold about the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers,

⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas, having spoken boldly, said, “It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. But since you thrust it away and do not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For thus the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you for a light of the Gentiles, you to be for salvation to the uttermost part of the earth.’”

¹⁶ forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, so as always to fill up their sins. Now the wrath has come upon them to the utmost.
