⁷ Accordingly, it is right for me to feel this about all of you, since I have you in the heart. Both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are fellow partakers of grace with me.

²³ And having laid many blows on them, they cast them into prison, having charged the jailer to keep them securely, ²⁴ who having received such an order, threw them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. ²⁵ Now toward midnight, Paul and Silas praying, were singing praises to God. And the prisoners were listening to them.

²³ except that the Holy Spirit fully testifies to me in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.

³³ Then having drawn near, the commander laid hold of him and commanded him to be bound with two chains, and began inquiring who he might be and what it is he has been doing.

²³ Now I do all things on account of the gospel, that I might become a fellow partaker with it.

⁷ It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

² You are our letter, having been inscribed in our hearts, being known and being read by all men,

³ I do not speak for condemnation; for I have before said that you are in our hearts for us to die together and to live together.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.

¹ For reason of this, I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles...

¹ Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling to which you were called,

²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold, as it behooves me to speak.

⁵ for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

¹⁶ the ones indeed out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; ¹⁷ but the others are proclaiming Christ out of selfish ambition, not purely, supposing to add tribulation to my chains.

¹⁴ But you did well, having fellowship in my affliction.

³ praying at the same time also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which also I have been bound,

¹⁸ The greeting is in the own hand—Paul. Remember my chains. Grace be with you.

² We give thanks to God always concerning all of you, making mention in our prayers, ³ remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and unceasing labor of love, and the endurance of the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁴ knowing, brothers beloved by God, your election, ⁵ because our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit, and with much full assurance, just as you know what we were among you on account of you.

⁵ For you are all sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night nor of darkness.

⁸ Therefore you should not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner; but suffer together for the gospel, according to the power of God,

⁹ in which I suffer hardship even to chains as an evildoer. But the word of God is not bound!

¹ Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, carefully consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,

⁹ But even if we speak like this, beloved, we are persuaded of better things concerning you, and things accompanying salvation. ¹⁰ For God is not unjust to forget your work and the love that you have shown toward His name, having ministered to the saints, and still ministering.

³³ this indeed, being made a spectacle both by revilings and tribulations; now this, having become partners of those passing through them thus. ³⁴ For both you sympathized with the prisoners and you accepted the plundering of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession.

¹³ But as you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, so that also in the revelation of His glory you may rejoice, exulting.

¹ I exhort the elders among you, a fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory being about to be revealed:

¹³ Now I esteem it right, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance,

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one not loving abides in death.
