⁴⁷ Everyone who is coming to Me, and hearing My words, and doing them, I will show you whom he is like.

²⁴ Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. ²⁵ And the rain came down, and the torrents came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it did not fall, for its foundation had been lain upon the rock. ²⁶ And everyone hearing these words of Mine and not acting on them, he will be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. ²⁷ And the rain came down, and the torrents came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell—and great was its collapse!”

²⁸ Come to Me, all those toiling and being burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father who is in the heavens, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

⁵ While yet he was speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, “This is My Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him!”

⁸ And other fell upon the good soil, and having sprung up, it produced fruit—a hundredfold.” Saying these things, He was calling out, “The one having ears to hear, let him hear.”

¹³ And those upon the rock are those who receive the word with joy when they hear; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of testing fall away.

²⁸ And He said, “No rather, blessed are those hearing the word of God and keeping it.”

²⁶ “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters and yes, even his life, he is not able to be My disciple.

⁴⁰ and you are not willing to come to Me, that you may have life.

³⁵ Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one coming to Me never shall hunger, and the one believing in Me never shall thirst at any time.

⁴⁴ No one is able to come to Me unless the Father, the one having sent Me, draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day. ⁴⁵ It is written in the prophets: ‘And they will all be taught of God.’ Everyone having heard from the Father and having learned, comes to Me.

⁵² Therefore the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham and the prophets died, and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word, he shall never taste of death, to the age.’

²⁷ He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you wish to hear again? Do you wish to become His disciples also?” ²⁸ And they railed at him and said, “You are a disciple of that One, but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁷ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

¹⁷ If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

¹⁵ If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

²¹ The one having My commandments and keeping them, he is the one loving Me. Now the one loving Me will be loved by My Father. And I will love him, and will show Myself to him.” ²² Judas (not Iscariot) says to Him, “Lord, then what has occurred, that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and will make a home with him. ²⁴ The one not loving Me does not keep My words. And the word that you hear is not Mine, but that of the Father having sent Me.

⁹ As the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you. Abide in My Love. ¹⁰ If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. ¹¹ These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you and your joy may be full. ¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you. ¹³ Greater love has no one than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends. ¹⁴ You are My friends, if you do what I command you.

⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; ⁸ but to those of self-interest and disobeying the truth, but being persuaded about unrighteousness, wrath and anger; ⁹ tribulation and distress upon every soul of man working evil, both of Jewish first, and also of Greek; ¹⁰ but glory and honor and peace to everyone doing good, both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

⁹ and having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all those obeying Him,

²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves, ²³ because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror, ²⁴ for he has viewed himself and has gone away, and immediately he has forgotten of what manner he was. ²⁵ But the one having looked intently into the perfect law, that of freedom, and having continued in it, not having been a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work—this one will be blessed in his work.

¹⁷ Therefore to the one knowing to do good, and not doing, it is sin.

⁴ Coming to Him, a living stone, indeed rejected by men, but chosen and precious in the sight of God,

¹⁰ Therefore, brothers, be diligent, rather, to make your calling and election sure. For practicing these things, never at any time shall you stumble.

²⁹ If you know that He is righteous, you know also that everyone practicing righteousness has been begotten of Him.

⁷ Little children, let no one lead you astray; the one practicing righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

¹⁴ Blessed are those washing their robes, that their right will be to the tree of life, and they shall enter into the city by the gates.
