⁴² How are you able to say to your brother, ‘Brother let that I might cast out the splinter that is in your eye,’ yourself not seeing the beam in your eye? Hypocrite! First cast out the beam from your eye, and then you will see clearly to cast out the splinter in the eye of your brother.

²² The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. ²³ But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men. For you neither enter, nor even do you allow those who are entering to go in. ^{14 15} Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you traverse the sea and the dry land to make one convert, and whenever it may happen, you make him twofold more a son of Gehenna than yourselves.

⁷⁵ And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, He having said, “Before the rooster crowing, you will deny Me three times.” And having gone out, he wept bitterly.

¹⁵ Therefore the Lord answered him and said, “Hypocrites! Does not each one of you untie his ox or donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and having led it away, give it to drink?

³² But I begged for you, that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

³⁸ And Peter says to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

²¹ To you there is no part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.

⁹ And he was three days without seeing, and neither did he eat nor drink. ¹⁰ Now there was a certain disciple in Damascus named Ananias. And the Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” And he said, “Behold me, Lord.” ¹¹ And the Lord said to him, “Having risen up, go into the street called Straight, and seek in the house of Judas the one of Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, ¹² and he saw in a vision a man named Ananias, having come and having put the hands on him, so that he might see again.” ¹³ But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evils he did to Your saints in Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all those calling on Your name.” ¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is My vessel of choice to carry My name before the Gentiles, and also kings, and the sons of Israel. ¹⁶ For I will show to him how much it behooves him to suffer for My name.” ¹⁷ And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and having laid the hands upon him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, the One having appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me that you may see again and be filled of the Holy Spirit.” ¹⁸ And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. And having risen up, he was baptized, ¹⁹ and having taken food, he was strengthened. And he was some days with the disciples in Damascus. ²⁰ And immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.

¹⁰ said, “O full of all deceit and all craft, son of the devil, enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways the of Lord?

¹ Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, each one who is judging. For in that which you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, for you, the one judging, do the same things.

²¹ then you teaching another, do you do not teach yourself? You preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² You saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You abhorring idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through the transgression of the Law? ²⁴ As it has been written: “For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you.” ²⁵ For circumcision profits if you do the Law; but if you are a transgressor of Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. ²⁶ Therefore if the uncircumcision keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision? ²⁷ And the uncircumcision by nature, fulfilling the Law, will judge you who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of Law. ²⁸ For the one on the outside a Jew is not, neither that on the outside in flesh is circumcision. ²⁹ But he who is a Jew is one on the inside; and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter, of whom the praise is not of men, but of God.

¹⁸ Now all things are of God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation:

¹⁰ You are witnesses, and God, how holily and righteously and blamelessly we behaved toward you, those believing, ¹¹ just as you know how each one of you, as a father his own children, ¹² we were exhorting and comforting you and charging unto you to walk worthily of God, who calls you into His kingdom and glory.

²¹ Therefore if anyone shall have cleansed himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, having been sanctified, useful to the Master, having been prepared for every good work.

¹⁰ I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in chains, Onesimus, ¹¹ once useless to you, but now useful both to you and to me,

⁹ For in whomever these things are not present, he is blind, being short sighted, having received forgetfulness of the purification from his former sins.

¹⁷ For you say, ‘I am rich, and I have grown rich, and I have need of nothing.’ And you do not realize that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. ¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold having been refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may be clothed and the shame your of nakedness might not be made manifest, and eye-salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.
