⁵ But they kept insisting, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all of Judea, and He has begun from Galilee even to here.”

¹² And having heard that John had been arrested, He withdrew into Galilee. ¹³ And having left Nazareth, having come, he dwelt at Capernaum, on the sea-side in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali, ¹⁴ that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, saying: ¹⁵ “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles— ¹⁶ the people sitting in darkness have seen a great light, and to those sitting in the land and shadow of death, a light has dawned on them.”

²³ And He was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.

²⁴ And Pilate having seen that it availed nothing, but rather a riot is arising, having taken water, washed the hands before the crowd, saying, “I am guiltless of the blood of this man. For yourselves you will see.”

¹⁴ And after the delivering up of John, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God

¹⁴ And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report concerning Him went out into all the surrounding region. ¹⁵ And He was teaching in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

⁵³ Of Him having gone forth from there, the scribes and the Pharisees began urgently to press upon Him and to make Him speak about many things,

²³ But they were urgent, asking with loud voices for Him to be crucified. And their voices were prevailing.

⁴³ On the next day He desired to go forth into Galilee. And He finds Philip. And Jesus says to him, “Follow Me.”

¹¹ This was the beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and He revealed His glory. And His disciples believed in Him.

⁴¹ Others were saying, “This is the Christ.” But others were saying, “Surely the Christ does not come out of Galilee?

⁵² They answered and said to him, “Are you not also from Galilee? Search and see that a prophet is not raised out of Galilee.”

¹⁵ So they cried out, “Away with Him, away! Crucify Him!” Pilate says to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

³³ And having heard, they were cut to the heart and were desiring to put them to death.

⁵⁴ Now hearing these things, they were cut to their hearts and began gnashing the teeth at him.

⁵⁷ And having cried out with a loud voice, they held their ears and rushed upon him with one accord,

³⁷ You yourselves know the declaration having come through all Judea, having begun from Galilee, after the baptism that John proclaimed:

¹⁰ And great dissension arising, the commander, having feared lest Paul should be torn to pieces by them, commanded the troop, having gone down, to take him by force from their midst and to bring him into the barracks.
