⁶ For the Lord disciplines whom He loves, and He scourges every son whom He receives. ⁷ If you endure discipline, God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? ⁸ But if you are without discipline, of which they have all become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. ⁹ Furthermore indeed, we have had fathers of our flesh, correctors, and we respected them; and shall we not much more be in subjection to the Father of spirits and shall live? ¹⁰ For truly they were disciplining us for a few days, according to that seeming good to them; but He for our benefitting, in order to share His holiness. ¹¹ And all discipline indeed for those being present, does not seem to be of joy, but of grief; but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those having been trained by it.

³⁴ Having seen, I saw the oppression of My people in Egypt, and I have heard their groans, and I have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.’

⁴ And his tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and he cast them to the earth. And the dragon stands before the woman being about to bring forth, so that when she should bring forth, he might devour her child.

²⁸ And you should not be afraid of those killing the body but not being able to kill the soul. Indeed rather you should fear the One being able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

⁵ But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who has authority, after the killing, to cast into Gehenna. Yes, I say to you, fear Him.

¹⁸ And having called them, they commanded them not to speak nor to teach at all in the name of Jesus. ¹⁹ But Peter and John answering, said to them, “Whether it is right before God to listen to you, rather than God, you must judge. ²⁰ For we are not able to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

⁴² And whoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, he shall certainly not lose his reward.”

⁴⁰ And the King answering, will say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did it to Me.’

⁵⁰ And His mercy is to generations and generations, to those fearing Him.
