¹ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλον (another) ἄγγελον (angel) ἰσχυρὸν (mighty) καταβαίνοντα (coming down) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), περιβεβλημένον (clothed with) νεφέλην (a cloud), καὶ (and) ἡ (a) ἶρις (rainbow) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) κεφαλὴν (head) αὐτοῦ (of him), καὶ (and) τὸ (the) πρόσωπον (face) αὐτοῦ (of him) ὡς (was like) ὁ (the) ἥλιος (sun), καὶ (and) οἱ (the) πόδες (feet) αὐτοῦ (of him) ὡς (like) στῦλοι (pillars) πυρός (of fire), ² καὶ (and) ἔχων (having) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him) βιβλαρίδιον (a little scroll) ἠνεῳγμένον (being open). καὶ (And) ἔθηκεν (he placed) τὸν (the) πόδα (foot) αὐτοῦ (of him) τὸν (-) δεξιὸν (right) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), τὸν (the) δὲ (and) εὐώνυμον (left) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth). ³ καὶ (And) ἔκραξεν (he cried out) φωνῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) ὥσπερ (as) λέων (a lion) μυκᾶται (roars). καὶ (And) ὅτε (when) ἔκραξεν (he cried out), ἐλάλησαν (sounded) αἱ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) βρονταὶ (thunders), τὰς (the) ἑαυτῶν (of themselves) φωνάς (voice). ⁴ Καὶ (And) ὅτε (when) ἐλάλησαν (had spoken) αἱ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) βρονταί (thunders), ἤμελλον (I was about) γράφειν (to write). καὶ (But) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνὴν (a voice) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), λέγουσαν (saying), “Σφράγισον (Seal) ἃ (what) ἐλάλησαν (have spoken) αἱ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) βρονταί (thunders), καὶ (and) μὴ (not) αὐτὰ (them) γράψῃς (write).” ⁵ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) ὃν (whom) εἶδον (I saw) ἑστῶτα (standing) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (land) ἦρεν (lifted up) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him) τὴν (the) δεξιὰν (right) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανόν (heaven), ⁶ καὶ (and) ὤμοσεν (he swore) ἐν (by) τῷ (the One) ζῶντι (living) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages), ὃς (who) ἔκτισεν (created) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (it), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐν (in) αὐτῇ (it), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) θάλασσαν (sea) καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) ἐν (in) αὐτῇ (it) ὅτι (-), “Χρόνος (Delay) οὐκέτι (no longer) ἔσται (will there be)! ⁷ ἀλλ’ (But) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἡμέραις (days) τῆς (of the) φωνῆς (voice) τοῦ (of the) ἑβδόμου (seventh) ἀγγέλου (angel), ὅταν (when) μέλλῃ (he is about) σαλπίζειν (to sound the trumpet), καὶ (then) ἐτελέσθη (would be completed) τὸ (the) μυστήριον (mystery) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), ὡς (as) εὐηγγέλισεν (proclaimed) τοὺς (the) ἑαυτοῦ (of Himself) δούλους (servants), τοὺς (the) προφήτας (prophets).” ⁸ Καὶ (And) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) ἣν (that) ἤκουσα (I heard) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven) πάλιν (again) λαλοῦσαν (was speaking) μετ’ (with) ἐμοῦ (me), καὶ (and) λέγουσαν (saying), “Ὕπαγε (Go), λάβε (take) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (little scroll) τὸ (-) ἠνεῳγμένον (having been opened) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) τοῦ (of the) ἀγγέλου (angel) τοῦ (-) ἑστῶτος (standing) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (land).” ⁹ Καὶ (And) ἀπῆλθα (I went) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) ἄγγελον (angel), λέγων (saying) αὐτῷ (to him) “Δοῦναί (Give) μοι (me) τὸ (the) βιβλαρίδιον (little scroll).” Καὶ (And) λέγει (he says) μοι (to me), “Λάβε (Take) καὶ (and) κατάφαγε (eat) αὐτό (it); καὶ (and) πικρανεῖ (it will make bitter) σου (your) τὴν (-) κοιλίαν (stomach), ἀλλ’ (but) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) στόματί (mouth) σου (of you) ἔσται (it will be) γλυκὺ (sweet) ὡς (as) μέλι (honey).” ¹⁰ Καὶ (And) ἔλαβον (I took) τὸ (the) βιβλαρίδιον (little scroll) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) χειρὸς (hand) τοῦ (of the) ἀγγέλου (angel), καὶ (and) κατέφαγον (I ate) αὐτό (it); καὶ (and) ἦν (it was) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) στόματί (mouth) μου (of me) ὡς (as) μέλι (honey) γλυκύ (sweet); καὶ (and) ὅτε (when) ἔφαγον (I had eaten) αὐτό (it), ἐπικράνθη (was made bitter) ἡ (the) κοιλία (stomach) μου (of me). ¹¹ Καὶ (And) λέγουσίν (they say) μοι (to me), “Δεῖ (It is necessary) σε (for you) πάλιν (again) προφητεῦσαι (to prophesy) ἐπὶ (concerning) λαοῖς (peoples), καὶ (and) ἔθνεσιν (nations), καὶ (and) γλώσσαις (tongues), καὶ (and) βασιλεῦσιν (kings) πολλοῖς (many).”

² καὶ (And) μετεμορφώθη (He was transfigured) ἔμπροσθεν (before) αὐτῶν (them), καὶ (and) ἔλαμψεν (shone) τὸ (the) πρόσωπον (face) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ὡς (like) ὁ (the) ἥλιος (sun), τὰ (-) δὲ (and) ἱμάτια (the clothes) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἐγένετο (became) λευκὰ (white) ὡς (as) τὸ (the) φῶς (light).

²⁷ καὶ (And) τότε (then) ὄψονται (will they see) τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐρχόμενον (coming) ἐν (in) νεφέλῃ (a cloud), μετὰ (with) δυνάμεως (power) καὶ (and) δόξης (glory) πολλῆς (great).

¹³ ἡμέρας (day) μέσης (mid) κατὰ (on) τὴν (the) ὁδὸν (road) εἶδον (I saw), βασιλεῦ (O king), οὐρανόθεν (from heaven) ὑπὲρ (above), τὴν (the) λαμπρότητα (brightness) τοῦ (of the) ἡλίου (sun), περιλάμψαν (having shone around) με (me), φῶς (a light); καὶ (and) τοὺς (those) σὺν (with) ἐμοὶ (me) πορευομένους (journeying).

⁷ Ἰδοὺ (Behold), ἔρχεται (He is coming) μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) νεφελῶν (clouds), καὶ (and) ὄψεται (will see) αὐτὸν (Him) πᾶς (every) ὀφθαλμὸς (eye), καὶ (and) οἵτινες (those who) αὐτὸν (Him) ἐξεκέντησαν (pierced), καὶ (and) κόψονται (will wail) ἐπ’ (because of) αὐτὸν (Him) πᾶσαι (all) αἱ (the) φυλαὶ (tribes) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth). ναί (Yes)! ἀμήν (Amen)!

¹⁵ καὶ (and) οἱ (the) πόδες (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ὅμοιοι (are like) χαλκολιβάνῳ (fine bronze), ὡς (as) ἐν (in) καμίνῳ (a furnace) πεπυρωμένης (having been refined); καὶ (and) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ὡς (is like) φωνὴ (the voice) ὑδάτων (of waters) πολλῶν (many); ¹⁶ καὶ (and) ἔχων (He is holding) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δεξιᾷ (right) χειρὶ (hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἀστέρας (stars) ἑπτά (seven), καὶ (and) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) στόματος (mouth) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ῥομφαία (a sword) δίστομος (two-edged) ὀξεῖα (sharp) ἐκπορευομένη (is going forth); καὶ (and) ἡ (the) ὄψις (face) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ὡς (is like) ὁ (the) ἥλιος (sun) φαίνει (shining) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δυνάμει (full strength) αὐτοῦ (of it).

³ καὶ (and) ὁ (the One) καθήμενος (sitting) ὅμοιος (was like) ὁράσει (in appearance) λίθῳ (stone), ἰάσπιδι (jasper) καὶ (and) σαρδίῳ (sardius). καὶ (And) ἶρις (a rainbow) κυκλόθεν (was around) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne), ὅμοιος (like) ὁράσει (in appearance) σμαραγδίνῳ (an emerald).

² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄγγελον (an angel) ἰσχυρὸν (strong), κηρύσσοντα (proclaiming) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Τίς (Who is) ἄξιος (worthy) ἀνοῖξαι (to open) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (scroll), καὶ (and) λῦσαι (to break) τὰς (the) σφραγῖδας (seals) αὐτοῦ (of it)?”

¹ Μετὰ (After) τοῦτο (these things) εἶδον (I saw) τέσσαρας (four) ἀγγέλους (angels) ἑστῶτας (standing) ἐπὶ (upon) τὰς (the) τέσσαρας (four) γωνίας (corners) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), κρατοῦντας (holding) τοὺς (the) τέσσαρας (four) ἀνέμους (winds) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth), ἵνα (so that) μὴ (no) πνέῃ (would blow) ἄνεμος (wind) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), μήτε (nor) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), μήτε (nor) ἐπὶ (on) πᾶν (any) δένδρον (tree). ² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλον (another) ἄγγελον (angel), ἀναβαίνοντα (having ascended) ἀπὸ (from) ἀνατολῆς (the rising) ἡλίου (of the sun), ἔχοντα (having) σφραγῖδα (the seal) Θεοῦ (of God) ζῶντος (the living). καὶ (And) ἔκραξεν (he cried) φωνῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) τοῖς (to the) τέσσαρσιν (four) ἀγγέλοις (angels) οἷς (to whom) ἐδόθη (it had been given) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἀδικῆσαι (to harm) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) θάλασσαν (sea),

² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) τοὺς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀγγέλους (angels) οἳ (who) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God) ἑστήκασιν (stand), καὶ (and) ἐδόθησαν (were given) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἑπτὰ (seven) σάλπιγγες (trumpets). ³ Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel) ἦλθεν (came) καὶ (and) ἐστάθη (stood) ἐπὶ (at) τοῦ (the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar), ἔχων (having) λιβανωτὸν (a censer) χρυσοῦν (golden); καὶ (and) ἐδόθη (was given) αὐτῷ (to him) θυμιάματα (incense) πολλὰ (much), ἵνα (that) δώσει (he will offer it) ταῖς (with the) προσευχαῖς (prayers) τῶν (of the) ἁγίων (saints) πάντων (all) ἐπὶ (upon) τὸ (the) θυσιαστήριον (altar) τὸ (-) χρυσοῦν (golden) τὸ (-) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne). ⁴ καὶ (And) ἀνέβη (went up) ὁ (the) καπνὸς (smoke) τῶν (of the) θυμιαμάτων (incense) ταῖς (with the) προσευχαῖς (prayers) τῶν (of the) ἁγίων (saints) ἐκ (out of) χειρὸς (the hand) τοῦ (of the) ἀγγέλου (angel), ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God). ⁵ Καὶ (And) εἴληφεν (took) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) τὸν (the) λιβανωτόν (censer), καὶ (and) ἐγέμισεν (filled) αὐτὸν (it) ἐκ (from) τοῦ (the) πυρὸς (fire) τοῦ (of the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar), καὶ (and) ἔβαλεν (cast it) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth); καὶ (and) ἐγένοντο (there were) βρονταὶ (thunders), καὶ (and) φωναὶ (rumblings), καὶ (and) ἀστραπαὶ (flashes of lightning), καὶ (and) σεισμός (an earthquake).

¹³ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I looked), καὶ (and) ἤκουσα (I heard) ἑνὸς (one) ἀετοῦ (eagle) πετομένου (flying) ἐν (in) μεσουρανήματι (mid-heaven), λέγοντος (saying) φωνῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Οὐαὶ (Woe)! οὐαὶ (Woe)! οὐαὶ (Woe) τοὺς (to those) κατοικοῦντας (dwelling) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), ἐκ (because of) τῶν (the) λοιπῶν (remaining) φωνῶν (voices) τῆς (of the) σάλπιγγος (trumpet) τῶν (of the) τριῶν (three) ἀγγέλων (angels) τῶν (-) μελλόντων (being about) σαλπίζειν (to sound their trumpets)!”

¹³ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἕκτος (sixth) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐσάλπισεν (sounded his trumpet), καὶ (and) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνὴν (voice) μίαν (one) ἐκ (from) τῶν (the) τεσσάρων (four) κεράτων (horns) τοῦ (of the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar) τοῦ (-) χρυσοῦ (golden) τοῦ (-) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God), ¹⁴ λέγοντα (saying) τῷ (to the) ἕκτῳ (sixth) ἀγγέλῳ (angel), ὁ (the one) ἔχων (having) τὴν (the) σάλπιγγα (trumpet), “Λῦσον (Release) τοὺς (the) τέσσαρας (four) ἀγγέλους (angels), τοὺς (those) δεδεμένους (having been bound) ἐπὶ (at) τῷ (the) ποταμῷ (river) τῷ (-) μεγάλῳ (great) Εὐφράτῃ (Euphrates).”

¹⁴ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I looked), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold), νεφέλη (a cloud) λευκή (white), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) νεφέλην (cloud) καθήμενον (is sitting One) ὅμοιον (like) υἱὸν (the Son) ἀνθρώπου (of Man), ἔχων (having) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) κεφαλῆς (head) αὐτοῦ (of Him) στέφανον (a crown) χρυσοῦν (golden), καὶ (and) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him) δρέπανον (a sickle) ὀξύ (sharp). ¹⁵ Καὶ (And) ἄλλος (another) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐξῆλθεν (came out) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) ναοῦ (temple), κράζων (crying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) τῷ (to the One) καθημένῳ (sitting) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) νεφέλης (cloud), “Πέμψον (Put forth) τὸ (the) δρέπανόν (sickle) σου (of You) καὶ (and) θέρισον (reap), ὅτι (because) ἦλθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) θερίσαι (to reap), ὅτι (because) ἐξηράνθη (has ripened) ὁ (the) θερισμὸς (harvest) τῆς (of the) γῆς (earth).”

¹⁸ Καὶ (And) προσελθὼν (having come to them), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) αὐτοῖς (to them), λέγων (saying), “Ἐδόθη (Has been given) μοι (to Me) πᾶσα (all) ἐξουσία (authority) ἐν (in) οὐρανῷ (heaven) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth).

²⁰ ἣν (which) ἐνήργηκεν (He worked) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) Χριστῷ (Christ), ἐγείρας (having raised) αὐτὸν (Him) ἐκ (out from) νεκρῶν (the dead) καὶ (and) καθίσας (having set Him) ἐν (at) δεξιᾷ (the right hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) ἐπουρανίοις (heavenly realms), ²¹ ὑπεράνω (above) πάσης (every) ἀρχῆς (principality) καὶ (and) ἐξουσίας (authority) καὶ (and) δυνάμεως (power) καὶ (and) κυριότητος (dominion), καὶ (and) παντὸς (every) ὀνόματος (name) ὀνομαζομένου (being named), οὐ (not) μόνον (only) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) αἰῶνι (age) τούτῳ (this), ἀλλὰ (but) καὶ (also) ἐν (in) τῷ (the one) μέλλοντι (coming). ²² καὶ (And) πάντα (all things) ὑπέταξεν (He put) ὑπὸ (under) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) αὐτὸν (Him) ἔδωκεν (gave) κεφαλὴν (to be head) ὑπὲρ (over) πάντα (all things) τῇ (to the) ἐκκλησίᾳ (church),

¹⁰ ἵνα (that) ἐν (at) τῷ (the) ὀνόματι (name) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) πᾶν (every) γόνυ (knee) κάμψῃ (should bow), ἐπουρανίων (in the heavens) καὶ (and) ἐπιγείων (on earth) καὶ (and) καταχθονίων (under the earth), ¹¹ καὶ (and) πᾶσα (every) γλῶσσα (tongue) ἐξομολογήσηται (should confess) ὅτι (that) ΚΥΡΙΟΣ (is Lord) ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (Jesus) ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ (Christ), εἰς (to) δόξαν (the glory) Θεοῦ (of God) Πατρός (the Father).

¹ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἐπὶ (on) τὴν (the) δεξιὰν (right hand) τοῦ (of the One) καθημένου (sitting) ἐπὶ (upon) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne) βιβλίον (a scroll), γεγραμμένον (having been written) ἔσωθεν (inside) καὶ (and) ὄπισθεν (on the back), κατεσφραγισμένον (having been sealed) σφραγῖσιν (with seals) ἑπτά (seven). ² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄγγελον (an angel) ἰσχυρὸν (strong), κηρύσσοντα (proclaiming) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Τίς (Who is) ἄξιος (worthy) ἀνοῖξαι (to open) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (scroll), καὶ (and) λῦσαι (to break) τὰς (the) σφραγῖδας (seals) αὐτοῦ (of it)?” ³ Καὶ (And) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἐδύνατο (was able) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), οὐδὲ (nor) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), οὐδὲ (nor) ὑποκάτω (under) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), ἀνοῖξαι (to open) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (scroll), οὔτε (nor) βλέπειν (to see) αὐτό (it). ⁴ καὶ (And) ‹ἐγὼ› (I) ἔκλαιον (was weeping) πολὺ (loudly), ὅτι (because) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἄξιος (worthy) εὑρέθη (was found) ἀνοῖξαι (to open) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (scroll), οὔτε (nor) βλέπειν (to see) αὐτό (it). ⁵ Καὶ (And) εἷς (one) ἐκ (of) τῶν (the) πρεσβυτέρων (elders) λέγει (says) μοι (to me), “Μὴ (Not) κλαῖε (do weep). ἰδοὺ (Behold), ἐνίκησεν (has overcome) ὁ (the) Λέων (Lion) ὁ (-) ἐκ (of) τῆς (the) φυλῆς (tribe) Ἰούδα (of Judah), ἡ (the) Ῥίζα (root) Δαυίδ (of David), ἀνοῖξαι (to open) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (scroll) καὶ (and) τὰς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) σφραγῖδας (seals) αὐτοῦ (of it).”

³ Καὶ (And) ὅτε (when) ἤνοιξεν (He opened) τὴν (the) σφραγῖδα (seal) τὴν (-) δευτέραν (second), ἤκουσα (I heard) τοῦ (the) δευτέρου (second) ζῴου (living creature) λέγοντος (saying), “Ἔρχου (Come)!”

⁵ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) ὃν (whom) εἶδον (I saw) ἑστῶτα (standing) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (land) ἦρεν (lifted up) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him) τὴν (the) δεξιὰν (right) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανόν (heaven),

⁸ Καὶ (And) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) ἣν (that) ἤκουσα (I heard) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven) πάλιν (again) λαλοῦσαν (was speaking) μετ’ (with) ἐμοῦ (me), καὶ (and) λέγουσαν (saying), “Ὕπαγε (Go), λάβε (take) τὸ (the) βιβλίον (little scroll) τὸ (-) ἠνεῳγμένον (having been opened) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) τοῦ (of the) ἀγγέλου (angel) τοῦ (-) ἑστῶτος (standing) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (land).” ⁹ Καὶ (And) ἀπῆλθα (I went) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) ἄγγελον (angel), λέγων (saying) αὐτῷ (to him) “Δοῦναί (Give) μοι (me) τὸ (the) βιβλαρίδιον (little scroll).” Καὶ (And) λέγει (he says) μοι (to me), “Λάβε (Take) καὶ (and) κατάφαγε (eat) αὐτό (it); καὶ (and) πικρανεῖ (it will make bitter) σου (your) τὴν (-) κοιλίαν (stomach), ἀλλ’ (but) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) στόματί (mouth) σου (of you) ἔσται (it will be) γλυκὺ (sweet) ὡς (as) μέλι (honey).” ¹⁰ Καὶ (And) ἔλαβον (I took) τὸ (the) βιβλαρίδιον (little scroll) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) χειρὸς (hand) τοῦ (of the) ἀγγέλου (angel), καὶ (and) κατέφαγον (I ate) αὐτό (it); καὶ (and) ἦν (it was) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) στόματί (mouth) μου (of me) ὡς (as) μέλι (honey) γλυκύ (sweet); καὶ (and) ὅτε (when) ἔφαγον (I had eaten) αὐτό (it), ἐπικράνθη (was made bitter) ἡ (the) κοιλία (stomach) μου (of me).

⁵ Καὶ (And) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne) ἐκπορεύονται (come) ἀστραπαὶ (flashes of lightning), καὶ (and) φωναὶ (voices), καὶ (and) βρονταί (thunderings). καὶ (And) ἑπτὰ (there were seven) λαμπάδες (lamps) πυρὸς (of fire) καιόμεναι (burning) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne), ἅ (which) εἰσιν (are) τὰ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) Πνεύματα (Spirits) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

⁵ Καὶ (And) εἴληφεν (took) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) τὸν (the) λιβανωτόν (censer), καὶ (and) ἐγέμισεν (filled) αὐτὸν (it) ἐκ (from) τοῦ (the) πυρὸς (fire) τοῦ (of the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar), καὶ (and) ἔβαλεν (cast it) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth); καὶ (and) ἐγένοντο (there were) βρονταὶ (thunders), καὶ (and) φωναὶ (rumblings), καὶ (and) ἀστραπαὶ (flashes of lightning), καὶ (and) σεισμός (an earthquake).

² καὶ (And) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνὴν (a voice) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), ὡς (as) φωνὴν (the sound) ὑδάτων (of waters) πολλῶν (many), καὶ (and) ὡς (as) φωνὴν (the sound) βροντῆς (of thunder) μεγάλης (loud). καὶ (And) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) ἣν (that) ἤκουσα (I heard), ὡς (was like that) κιθαρῳδῶν (of harpists) κιθαριζόντων (harping) ἐν (with) ταῖς (the) κιθάραις (harps) αὐτῶν (of them).

¹ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλο (another) σημεῖον (sign) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), μέγα (great) καὶ (and) θαυμαστόν (wonderful), ἀγγέλους (angels) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἔχοντας (having) πληγὰς (plagues) ἑπτὰ (seven) — τὰς (the) ἐσχάτας (last), ὅτι (because) ἐν (in) αὐταῖς (them) ἐτελέσθη (was completed) ὁ (the) θυμὸς (wrath) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

⁷ Καὶ (And) ἓν (one) ἐκ (of) τῶν (the) τεσσάρων (four) ζῴων (living creatures) ἔδωκεν (gave) τοῖς (to the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀγγέλοις (angels) ἑπτὰ (seven) φιάλας (bowls) χρυσᾶς (golden) γεμούσας (full) τοῦ (of the) θυμοῦ (wrath) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), τοῦ (the One) ζῶντος (living) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages).

¹¹ λεγούσης (saying), “Ὃ (What) βλέπεις (you see), γράψον (write) εἰς (in) βιβλίον (a book), καὶ (and) πέμψον (send) ταῖς (to the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἐκκλησίαις (churches), εἰς (to) Ἔφεσον (Ephesus), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Σμύρναν (Smyrna), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Πέργαμον (Pergamum), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Θυάτειρα (Thyatira), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Σάρδεις (Sardis), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Φιλαδέλφειαν (Philadelphia), καὶ (and) εἰς (to) Λαοδίκειαν (Laodicea).”

¹ Τῷ (To the) ἀγγέλῳ (messenger) τῆς (of the) ἐν (in) Ἐφέσῳ (Ephesus) ἐκκλησίας (church) γράψον (write): Τάδε (These things) λέγει (says) ὁ (the One) κρατῶν (holding) τοὺς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἀστέρας (stars) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δεξιᾷ (right hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ὁ (-) περιπατῶν (walking) ἐν (in) μέσῳ (the midst) τῶν (of the) ἑπτὰ (seven) λυχνιῶν (lampstands) τῶν (-) χρυσῶν (golden). ² Οἶδα (I know) τὰ (the) ἔργα (works) σου (of you), καὶ (and) τὸν (the) κόπον (labor) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) ὑπομονήν (endurance) σου (of you), καὶ (and) ὅτι (that) οὐ (not) δύνῃ (you are able) βαστάσαι (to tolerate) κακούς (evil ones). καὶ (And) ἐπείρασας (you have tested) τοὺς (those) λέγοντας (claiming) ἑαυτοὺς (to be) ἀποστόλους (apostles) καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) εἰσίν (are), καὶ (and) εὗρες (you have found) αὐτοὺς (them) ψευδεῖς (false). ³ καὶ (And) ὑπομονὴν (perseverance) ἔχεις (you have), καὶ (and) ἐβάστασας (have endured) διὰ (for the sake of) τὸ (the) ὄνομά (name) μου (of Me) καὶ (and) οὐ (not) κεκοπίακες (have grown weary).

¹⁰ Καὶ (And) λέγει (he says) μοι (to me), “Μὴ (Not) σφραγίσῃς (seal) τοὺς (the) λόγους (words) τῆς (of the) προφητείας (prophecy) τοῦ (of the) βιβλίου (book) τούτου (this); ὁ (the) καιρὸς (time) γὰρ (for) ἐγγύς (near) ἐστιν (is).

¹⁵ καὶ (and) λέγοντες (saying), “Ἄνδρες (Men), τί (why) ταῦτα (these things) ποιεῖτε (do you)? καὶ (Also) ἡμεῖς (we) ὁμοιοπαθεῖς (of like nature) ἐσμεν (are) ὑμῖν (with you) ἄνθρωποι (men), εὐαγγελιζόμενοι (proclaiming the gospel) ὑμᾶς (to you), ἀπὸ (from) τούτων (these) τῶν (-) ματαίων (vanities) ἐπιστρέφειν (to turn) ἐπὶ (to) θεὸν (God) ζῶντα (the living), ὃς (who) ἐποίησεν (made) τὸν (the) οὐρανὸν (heaven) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) θάλασσαν (sea) καὶ (and) πάντα (all) τὰ (the things) ἐν (in) αὐτοῖς (them),

²³ διερχόμενος (Passing through) γὰρ (for) καὶ (and) ἀναθεωρῶν (beholding) τὰ (the) σεβάσματα (objects of worship) ὑμῶν (of you), εὗρον (I found) καὶ (even) βωμὸν (an altar) ἐν (on) ᾧ (which) ἐπεγέγραπτο (had been inscribed): ΑΓΝΩΣΤΩ (To an unknown) ΘΕΩ (God). Ὃ (Whom) οὖν (therefore) ἀγνοοῦντες (not knowing) εὐσεβεῖτε (you worship), τοῦτο (Him) ἐγὼ (I) καταγγέλλω (proclaim) ὑμῖν (to you).

²⁰ τὰ (The) γὰρ (for) ἀόρατα (invisible qualities) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἀπὸ (from) κτίσεως (the creation) κόσμου (of the world), τοῖς (by the) ποιήμασιν (things made) νοούμενα (being understood), καθορᾶται (are clearly seen), ἥ (the) τε (both) ἀΐδιος (eternal) αὐτοῦ (of Him) δύναμις (power) καὶ (and) θειότης (divinity), εἰς (for) τὸ (-) εἶναι (to be) αὐτοὺς (them) ἀναπολογήτους (without excuse).

¹³ Τῷ (-) γὰρ (For) Ἀβραὰμ (to Abraham) ἐπαγγειλάμενος (having made His promise), ὁ (-) Θεός (God), ἐπεὶ (since) κατ’ (by) οὐδενὸς (no one) εἶχεν (He had) μείζονος (greater) ὀμόσαι (to swear), ὤμοσεν (He swore) καθ’ (by) ἑαυτοῦ (Himself),

¹⁸ καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Ζῶν (Living One); καὶ (and) ἐγενόμην (I was) νεκρὸς (dead), καὶ (and) ἰδοὺ (behold) ζῶν (living) εἰμι (I am) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages), καὶ (and) ἔχω (I have) τὰς (the) κλεῖς (keys) τοῦ (of) θανάτου (Death) καὶ (and) τοῦ (of) ᾅδου (Hades).

⁹ Καὶ (And) ὅταν (whenever) δώσουσιν (will give) τὰ (the) ζῷα (living creatures) δόξαν (glory) καὶ (and) τιμὴν (honor) καὶ (and) εὐχαριστίαν (thanksgiving) τῷ (to the One) καθημένῳ (sitting) ἐπὶ (upon) τῷ (the) θρόνῳ (throne), τῷ (the One) ζῶντι (living) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages),

¹¹ “Ἄξιος (Worthy) εἶ (are You), ὁ (the) Κύριος (Lord) καὶ (and) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἡμῶν (of us), λαβεῖν (to receive) τὴν (-) δόξαν (glory) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) τιμὴν (honor) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) δύναμιν (power); ὅτι (for) σὺ (You) ἔκτισας (created) τὰ (-) πάντα (all things), καὶ (and) διὰ (because of) τὸ (the) θέλημά (will) σου (of You) ἦσαν (they existed), καὶ (and) ἐκτίσθησαν (were created).”

² καὶ (and) ἔχων (having) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) χειρὶ (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him) βιβλαρίδιον (a little scroll) ἠνεῳγμένον (being open). καὶ (And) ἔθηκεν (he placed) τὸν (the) πόδα (foot) αὐτοῦ (of him) τὸν (-) δεξιὸν (right) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea), τὸν (the) δὲ (and) εὐώνυμον (left) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth).

⁷ λέγων (saying) ἐν (in) φωνῇ (a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud), “Φοβήθητε (Fear) τὸν (-) Θεὸν (God), καὶ (and) δότε (give) αὐτῷ (Him) δόξαν (glory), ὅτι (because) ἦλθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) τῆς (of the) κρίσεως (judgment) αὐτοῦ (of Him). καὶ (And) προσκυνήσατε (worship) τῷ (the One) ποιήσαντι (having made) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth), καὶ (and) θάλασσαν (sea), καὶ (and) πηγὰς (springs) ὑδάτων (of waters).”

¹⁷ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἕβδομος (seventh) ἐξέχεεν (poured out) τὴν (the) φιάλην (bowl) αὐτοῦ (of him) ἐπὶ (upon) τὸν (the) ἀέρα (air), καὶ (and) ἐξῆλθεν (came out) φωνὴ (a voice) μεγάλη (loud) ἐκ (from) τοῦ (the) ναοῦ (temple) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne), λέγουσα (saying), “Γέγονεν (It is done)!”

⁴⁴ Εἶπεν (He said) δὲ (now) πρὸς (unto) αὐτούς (to them), “Οὗτοι (These are) οἱ (the) λόγοι (words) μου (of me), οὓς (which) ἐλάλησα (I spoke) πρὸς (to) ὑμᾶς (you) ἔτι (still) ὢν (being) σὺν (with) ὑμῖν (you), ὅτι (that) δεῖ (it behooves) πληρωθῆναι (to be fulfilled) πάντα (all things) τὰ (-) γεγραμμένα (having been written) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) νόμῳ (law) Μωϋσέως (of Moses), καὶ (and) τοῖς (the) προφήταις (Prophets) καὶ (and) ψαλμοῖς (the Psalms) περὶ (concerning) ἐμοῦ (Me).” ⁴⁵ τότε (Then) διήνοιξεν (He opened) αὐτῶν (their) τὸν (-) νοῦν (mind) τοῦ (-) συνιέναι (to understand) τὰς (the) γραφάς (Scriptures). ⁴⁶ Καὶ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὅτι (-), “Οὕτως (Thus) γέγραπται (it has been written): παθεῖν (Was to suffer) τὸν (the) Χριστὸν (Christ), καὶ (and) ἀναστῆναι (to rise) ἐκ (out from) νεκρῶν (the dead) τῇ (the) τρίτῃ (third) ἡμέρᾳ (day); ⁴⁷ καὶ (and) κηρυχθῆναι (to be proclaimed) ἐπὶ (in) τῷ (the) ὀνόματι (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him) μετάνοιαν (repentance) εἰς (and) ἄφεσιν (forgiveness) ἁμαρτιῶν (of sins) εἰς (to) πάντα (all) τὰ (-) ἔθνη (nations), ἀρξάμενοι (having begun) ἀπὸ (from) Ἰερουσαλήμ (Jerusalem).

²¹ ὃν (whom) δεῖ (it behooves) οὐρανὸν (heaven) μὲν (indeed) δέξασθαι (to receive), ἄχρι (until) χρόνων (the times) ἀποκαταστάσεως (of restoration) πάντων (of all things), ὧν (of which) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) διὰ (by) στόματος (the mouth) τῶν (of) ἁγίων (holy) ἀπ’ (from) αἰῶνος (the age) αὐτοῦ (His) προφητῶν (prophets).

²⁵ Οὐ (Not) γὰρ (for) θέλω (I want) ὑμᾶς (you) ἀγνοεῖν (to be ignorant), ἀδελφοί (brothers), τὸ (of the) μυστήριον (mystery) τοῦτο (this), ἵνα (that) μὴ (not) ἦτε (you may be) ἐν (in) ἑαυτοῖς (yourselves) φρόνιμοι (wise), ὅτι (that) πώρωσις (a hardening) ἀπὸ (in) μέρους (part) τῷ (-) Ἰσραὴλ (to Israel) γέγονεν (has happened), ἄχρι (until) οὗ (that) τὸ (the) πλήρωμα (fullness) τῶν (of the) ἐθνῶν (Gentiles) εἰσέλθῃ (may come in);

²⁵ Τῷ (To Him) δὲ (now) δυναμένῳ (being able) ὑμᾶς (you) στηρίξαι (to strengthen), κατὰ (according to) τὸ (-) εὐαγγέλιόν (gospel) μου (my) καὶ (and) τὸ (the) κήρυγμα (preaching) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ), κατὰ (according to) ἀποκάλυψιν (the revelation) μυστηρίου (of the mystery), χρόνοις (in times) αἰωνίοις (of the ages) σεσιγημένου (having been kept secret),

³ ὅτι (that) κατὰ (by) ἀποκάλυψιν (revelation) ἐγνωρίσθη (He made known) μοι (to me) τὸ (the) μυστήριον (mystery), καθὼς (just as) προέγραψα (I have written before) ἐν (in) ὀλίγῳ (brief), ⁴ πρὸς (by) ὃ (which) δύνασθε (you are able), ἀναγινώσκοντες (reading it), νοῆσαι (to understand) τὴν (the) σύνεσίν (insight) μου (of me) ἐν (into) τῷ (the) μυστηρίῳ (mystery) τοῦ (-) Χριστοῦ (of Christ), ⁵ ὃ (which) ἑτέραις (in other) γενεαῖς (generations) οὐκ (not) ἐγνωρίσθη (was made known) τοῖς (to the) υἱοῖς (sons) τῶν (-) ἀνθρώπων (of men), ὡς (as) νῦν (now) ἀπεκαλύφθη (it has been revealed) τοῖς (to) ἁγίοις (holy) ἀποστόλοις (apostles) αὐτοῦ (His) καὶ (and) προφήταις (prophets) ἐν (in) Πνεύματι (the Spirit), ⁶ εἶναι (are) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (Gentiles) συνκληρονόμα (joint-heirs), καὶ (and) σύσσωμα (a joint-body), καὶ (and) συμμέτοχα (joint-partakers) τῆς (of the) ἐπαγγελίας (promise) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus), διὰ (through) τοῦ (the) εὐαγγελίου (gospel), ⁷ οὗ (of which) ἐγενήθην (I became) διάκονος (servant) κατὰ (according to) τὴν (the) δωρεὰν (gift) τῆς (of the) χάριτος (grace) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) τῆς (-), δοθείσης (having been given) μοι (to me) κατὰ (according to) τὴν (the) ἐνέργειαν (working) τῆς (of the) δυνάμεως (power) αὐτοῦ (of Him). ⁸ Ἐμοὶ (To me), τῷ (the) ἐλαχιστοτέρῳ (very least) πάντων (of all) ἁγίων (saints), ἐδόθη (was given) ἡ (the) χάρις (grace) αὕτη (this): τοῖς (to the) ἔθνεσιν (Gentiles) εὐαγγελίσασθαι (to preach) τὸ (the) ἀνεξιχνίαστον (unsearchable) πλοῦτος (riches) τοῦ (-) Χριστοῦ (of Christ), ⁹ καὶ (and) φωτίσαι (to enlighten) ‹πάντας› (all) τίς (what is) ἡ (the) οἰκονομία (administration) τοῦ (of the) μυστηρίου (mystery) τοῦ (-) ἀποκεκρυμμένου (having been hidden) ἀπὸ (from) τῶν (the) αἰώνων (ages) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God), τῷ (the One) τὰ (-) πάντα (all things) κτίσαντι (having created),

¹⁵ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἕβδομος (seventh) ἄγγελος (angel) ἐσάλπισεν (sounded his trumpet), καὶ (and) ἐγένοντο (there were) φωναὶ (voices) μεγάλαι (great) ἐν (in) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven), λέγοντες (saying): “Ἐγένετο (Has become) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (of the) κόσμου (world), τοῦ (that of the) Κυρίου (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us), καὶ (and) τοῦ (of the) Χριστοῦ (Christ) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) βασιλεύσει (He will reign) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages).” ¹⁶ Καὶ (And) οἱ (the) εἴκοσι (twenty) τέσσαρες (four) πρεσβύτεροι (elders) οἱ (-) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God) καθήμενοι (sitting) ἐπὶ (on) τοὺς (the) θρόνους (thrones) αὐτῶν (of them) ἔπεσαν (fell) ἐπὶ (upon) τὰ (the) πρόσωπα (faces) αὐτῶν (of them) καὶ (and) προσεκύνησαν (worshiped) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God), ¹⁷ λέγοντες (saying): “Εὐχαριστοῦμέν (We give thanks) σοι (to You), Κύριε (Lord) ὁ (-) Θεός (God) ὁ (-) Παντοκράτωρ (Almighty), ὁ (the One) ὢν (being), καὶ (and) ὁ (who) ἦν (was), ὅτι (that) εἴληφας (You have taken) τὴν (the) δύναμίν (power) σου (of You) τὴν (-) μεγάλην (great), καὶ (and) ἐβασίλευσας (have begun to reign). ¹⁸ καὶ (And) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (nations) ὠργίσθησαν (were enraged), καὶ (and) ἦλθεν (came) ἡ (the) ὀργή (wrath) σου (of You), καὶ (and) ὁ (the) καιρὸς (time) τῶν (for the) νεκρῶν (dead) κριθῆναι (to be judged), καὶ (and) δοῦναι (to give) τὸν (the) μισθὸν (reward) τοῖς (to the) δούλοις (servants) σου (of You), τοῖς (the) προφήταις (prophets), καὶ (and) τοῖς (to the) ἁγίοις (saints), καὶ (and) τοῖς (to those) φοβουμένοις (fearing) τὸ (the) ὄνομά (name) σου (of You), τοὺς* (the) μικροὺς* (small) καὶ (and) τοὺς* (the) μεγάλους* (great), καὶ (and) διαφθεῖραι (to destroy) τοὺς (those who) διαφθείροντας (are destroying) τὴν (the) γῆν (earth).”

⁴ Καὶ (And) ὅτε (when) ἐλάλησαν (had spoken) αἱ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) βρονταί (thunders), ἤμελλον (I was about) γράφειν (to write). καὶ (But) ἤκουσα (I heard) φωνὴν (a voice) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (-) οὐρανοῦ (heaven), λέγουσαν (saying), “Σφράγισον (Seal) ἃ (what) ἐλάλησαν (have spoken) αἱ (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) βρονταί (thunders), καὶ (and) μὴ (not) αὐτὰ (them) γράψῃς (write).” ⁵ Καὶ (And) ὁ (the) ἄγγελος (angel) ὃν (whom) εἶδον (I saw) ἑστῶτα (standing) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) θαλάσσης (sea) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (land) ἦρεν (lifted up) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand) αὐτοῦ (of him) τὴν (the) δεξιὰν (right) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανόν (heaven),

⁶ δι’ (because of) ἃ (which things) ἔρχεται (is coming) ἡ (the) ὀργὴ (wrath) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ‹ἐπὶ (on) τοὺς (the) υἱοὺς (sons) τῆς (of) ἀπειθείας› (disobedience),

⁹ καὶ (And) βλέπουσιν (gaze) ἐκ (those of) τῶν (the) λαῶν (peoples) καὶ (and) φυλῶν (tribes) καὶ (and) γλωσσῶν (tongues) καὶ (and) ἐθνῶν (nations) τὸ (upon the) πτῶμα (bodies) αὐτῶν (of them), ἡμέρας (days) τρεῖς (three) καὶ (and) ἥμισυ (a half), καὶ (and) τὰ (the) πτώματα (bodies) αὐτῶν (of them) οὐκ (not) ἀφίουσιν (they will allow) τεθῆναι (to be put) εἰς (into) μνῆμα (a tomb).

⁶ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) ἄλλον (another) ἄγγελον (angel) πετόμενον (flying) ἐν (in) μεσουρανήματι (mid-heaven), ἔχοντα (having) εὐαγγέλιον (the glad tidings) αἰώνιον (everlasting) εὐαγγελίσαι (to preach) ἐπὶ (upon) τοὺς (those) καθημένους (dwelling) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) πᾶν (every) ἔθνος (nation) καὶ (and) φυλὴν (tribe) καὶ (and) γλῶσσαν (tongue) καὶ (and) λαόν (people),

¹⁵ Καὶ (And) λέγει (he says) μοι (to me), “Τὰ (The) ὕδατα (waters) ἃ (that) εἶδες (you saw), οὗ (where) ἡ (the) πόρνη (prostitute) κάθηται (sits), λαοὶ (peoples) καὶ (and) ὄχλοι (multitudes) εἰσὶν (are), καὶ (and) ἔθνη (nations) καὶ (and) γλῶσσαι (tongues).
